I think the intel deliverers were trying to cover their asses so they didn't look impotent, moreso than getting President Obama to take a certain course of action.

Bush was personally assigned blame for "bad intel" though most other nations, two previous administrations and practically everyone in Congress (including Kerry and Hillary etc) saw the same evidence he was privy to
and concurred with the Bush administrations' conclusions

This misleading intel, this propaganda from an Obama underling in the Pentagon, whatever you want to call it, is something unique to this administration. Something tells me that yet another investigation is about to get stonewalled. Hard discs will be wiped, even shredded. Emails will disappear, White House visitor logs will be hidden ala Lois Lerner

Its business as usual

Status: offline 		I will agree that all intell can not be good and must be pieced together from various sources to form a picture of what is out there. Wasn't it the battle of Midway that was based upon only 10% good intel? something like that. battle of the bulge was based upon bad intel on our part. Lots of instances.

Status: offline 		I don't necessarily agree or disagree. Making the fixes public MAY not necessarily will make it easier in the future for similar type attacks that can defeat the fixes.

Haveing spent a short period of time working in the intell community is just how politicized it is. You tell me what you want and I'll tell you all about it sorta thing. In Nam, the politicians wanted body count and the numbers were inflated. Gulf II WMD's Now ISIS. It usually isn't the source, but the analyst or higher that screws it up.

So, if I'm reading you right, because the left wrongly blamed Bush for the bad intel, you're going to wrongly blame Obama for what could be bad intel?

How much more information on this topic is known that is classified right now? Or are you going on the idea that all information is known right now? Just so you can attack the President?

President Obama is not likely to make bad decisions. He has surrounded himself with some very good, intelligent, and educated individuals in their fields of study. Those people are giving him good advice. Seems to have helped the President in any of the few hundred 'problems' he has been in over the past several years now.

George W. Bush was done-in by bad advisers whom gave him bad advice. I am wondering why he rambled so often on speeches (i.e. Bushisms) during that time. Why former Vice President Dick Cheney was often seen as being the President, rather than Mr. Bush. That administration was poor operated and run. Cost this nation much on any number of fronts. To which the current President has been repairing for a while now.....

The documents are in the public domain. Forged documents at that. We know this because it was United States sources who told the British Government that Iraq did not have the ingredients to build 'WMDs'.

Your own intelligence services told our government there was nothing doing, behind closed doors of course.
