Well, here's another observation that I not only agree with you on, but I also wholeheartedly agree with you.

There's an old saying among all men, which goes something like "every blond bombshell is someone else's bitch".
I forget the actual words, but the point is that once you fuck these gorgeous women, there's not much else left to admire.

Really? I mean, really? Wow.

It's quite something when you make so many insulting statements that the snippet above goes without comment.

How demeaning is that statement about women, and what does it say about your attitude to sex with another human being? At what point do you remember that there is a fully functioning, feeling person associated with all that flesh and bone stuff?

And just to make it even worse, you include the words "all men" like we all say and mean things like that. You take a fairly unpleasant saying and make it even worse. The implication, I think, is that even if someone is gorgeous and you fancy them, she may in fact be seen in a different way by the person who has to live every day of his life with her. What you say after that about "there's not much else left to admire" then takes your supposedly universal statement and shovels on extra unpleasantness.

"All men"? Not me, and last time I looked, I was a man, except that I think for all my experiences, positive and negative, I still like women. And not because I want into their pants, but because I respect my fellow humans. I may well also want into their pants, but it's not an entitlement, and, personally, it's never the explicit reason why I foster a friendship.

I profoundly wish we didn't have to deal constantly with all this sexual battlefield stuff. Idealistic perhaps, but hardly damaging. However, with statements like that, any rapprochement isn't happening any time soon for you, or any of us, by the looks of it.

The sad part is, that decent men like you end up having to jump through hoops to *prove* yourselves worthy of distinction above the common riffraff that so-called "subs" like crumpets exemplifies to the nth degree.

His agenda has never been to develop friendships with women, but to fuel his own gender-biased double standards. Why? Because it would feel incestuous to him to treat a woman as peer, such as he would expect other men to treat his own sisters or female kin.

So, like so many male subs (whether married cheaters or never-been-married confirmed bachelors), he is sexually conflicted and swings frantically from one extreme to the other:
He is either preoccupied with his own sexual objectification of himself, as to why aren't total strangers of the female persuasion pawing, groping and grabbing him in public to pull him into the bushes and jump on his bones, or else he is busily obsessed with sexually objectifying women.

I would have said FemDom as his preferred choice, but based on his track record of sexist remarks, I don't believe it really matters to him who or what she is as long as she has a pussy & tits.
He is among those who slavishly ape-talk and mimic what he thinks a Dominant woman wants in a submissive male. He doesn't even see himself for the sexual predator that he is.

Many years of encountering "submissive" wolves in sheep's clothing is why I am unequivocally turned off by any unowned man who claims to be a slave, whose loopy soundbite is how much his sole aspiration in life is to serve a Dominant (or D/D couple);

by any man who wants to be instantly sexually objectified by calling himself this kind of slut or that kind of sissy-slut, vying to be any Dominant woman's bitch;

and instantly owned by just about any Mistress who will have him. . . but who will also settle for casual NSA freebie BDSM play, wherever and whenever he can find it.

Frankly, any man whatsoever who exudes the odor of desperation or who has contracted a terminal case of crétinous thinking-with-dick-itis.

It is these lowlifes who drag down the reputation of the rest of you men who are earnestly seeking a meaningful, longlasting, and exclusively binding connection -- men whose oath of fealty is actually backed by the actions of a true devotée to his Mistress-Owner.

I'm still chuckling over this. . . and the sad part is, it's probably true. [8D]

But, you know what they say, nature compensates in other ways, like in lack of stature, lack of charm, or by being clueless to the fact that all the penises and tongues in the world are meaningless when you can't even hold onto a woman long enough to not have to wear a condom with her anymore.

I dont care much for being "wooed", and all that stuff.. It takes many months to really get to know someone, anything sooner (including all the flowers, door opening, etc) is usually window dressing and a mask... of course they are trying to make a good impression.. What is the real person like? I have met dudes (not even as dates, just as acquaintances) that seemed very nice (at first) but I came to know the "real" person and that person makes me want to throw up.. seeing who they really are, I have come to despise them (cheap, misers, liars, selfish).. Maybe I am being overly critical/picky but I am not gonna waste my time on a dud dude, life is too short!.. dam it, I wish I was a lesbian..

Well, I love being wooed. Forever. If they can't start off right, I'm not interested.

As far as months to get to know someone, try YEARS. I don't accept ownership until usually a year or more has gone by. The shortest period is 8 months, and that felt like a whirlwind to me.

But, overall, I have not had someone show me "their true colors" and had them be markedly different after a period of time, except in the case of my ex-husband, who became mentally ill.

All of my other lovers are still my friends. No hate, no acrimony. Simply discovering over time that we were not fully compatible, no great reveals of assholery.

But then, I spend most of my time in the first 6 weeks trying to find reasons the relationship WON'T work, and reasons to end it. Historically, once someone has made it through 6 weeks with me, they have a better than 50/50 chance of being with me longer than 2 years.

So, perhaps you can see why I find your take on it surprising.

hmmm.. ok that is really odd/funny to me... you love being wooed but then you spend all your time trying to convince yourself that it wont work with the wooer??? Well, you are a dominant so that would account for why you do things that way & have certain expectations..

Under normal (not bdsm) dating circumstances, the problem with being wooed (imo) is that with most guys it eventually stops and he starts leaving his dirty underwear lying on the floor and other such things.. if the guy is like that (wooing) forever then thats a different story, that is the real him, not a fabrication to impress you until he gets you into the sack..

I have to agree with Nookie. I am puzzled that you address the extremes of wooing and then talking about men leaving their underwear on the floor. Both can happen at the same time.

As far as who stops wooing once they get you in the sack, again my experiences differ. My ex husband and I were married for 10 years. He brought me flowers every Friday. My brother is married for 27 years and woos his wife daily. He says he wants to always show how much he values her.

Did my husband drop his clothes on the floor ever? Sure, but doing that and being wooed are not mutually exclusive. Real life has to be balanced with romance, at least for me.

Now, I do agree that some men and women do put up a good facade, and then you find out their true colors, as with my ex boyfriend, who was brilliant at faking his true self for a long time.

That was the one and only time I put up with the wooing having stopped because he was too good in the sack. But even that became old once the emotional part was screwed.

You can attack the messenger all you want; it isn't going to change what men say about women since, oh, about high school onward, as they try to figure out women (until they actually learn that it's impossible to figure them out).

Men are easy to figure out; women are impossible.
It's how it is, and always was, and always will be.

But, boys in high school and college don't know that yet.
So, they try to figure 'em out.

How condescending to imply that his opinions can only be naïveté or "playing to the crowd.

You thinking that men are "well versed" for being aware of a stupid comment that everyone on the planet has heard, just shows ignorance.

Your narrow mindedness and negativity is actually appalling.

Thanks for the response, by the way. There's plenty of male behaviour that hurts both women and men, and we have to accept that there are consequences to that.

You are of course far more used to the relentlessness of crumpets. I am certainly getting up to speed on that point!

Um, just because a woman says something that men say does not make it right, either.

I can say that men say I'm beautiful. That does not make it true. The fact that some men say it does not make it true, either, because it's an implied gross generalization.

I just thought I'd try something different from being riled into his level of personal attack, even if it severely hurts my other turned cheek.

I've got the love; I might have the patience; I probably have the strength; it's the stamina I'm worried about and, as you point out, the logistics.

Your concern has however both touched and motivated me and I'm off to get into some serious training. If you don't see me around for a while . . . .

Ive lost any interest in watching the horrors in his mind.

Don't worry. We all fell into that trap, because how can a reasonable person let such arrogant, ignorant statements such as his go without comment? But at some point you realize that it doesn't matter what you say, he is going to continue on with his ignorant perceptions and arrogant generalizations. And you realize that responding to them is not engaging in a discussion or a debate, rather just a constant game of 'who's on first'.

So some put him on hide, some read his stuff but just roll their eyes, and some (like Nookie) display a patience that others (such as I) can no longer muster for such ignorance.
