Another Officer Down!!!!!!! Oh, no; wait................

http://www.buzzfeed.com/jimdalrympleii/two-police-officers-arrested-in-fatal-shooting-of-6-year-old?utm_term=.tfmqDrVJ3#.qdwrgV9o5

There are two pieces of information missing.
A Why did they stop the father, he had an outstanding arrest warrent.
B What started the shooting?

I think we need those two questions answered before getting too happy about cops getting "caught".

For the slow among you I am not saying the cops are innocent, but those two questions, particularly how the shooting started seem to be importatnt.

Lucylastic -> RE: Another Officer down (11/7/2015 7:55:11 AM)

they cant find the warrant
It's still unclear what led police to pursue Few and what triggered the shooting. The parish coroner said earlier this week that the officers were serving a warrant on Few when he fled, but Edmonson later said he had no information about a warrant.
He was unarmed.

Nah, they killed a fucking six year old kid. We don't need answers to questions from the cops, they are arrested, and since you will find no fault with internal investigations and these justified shootings are found in virtually all of the cases they investigate, then the fact that they have been arrested must be prima facie evidence of the murder.

Lucylastic -> RE: Another Officer down (11/7/2015 7:57:40 AM)

Marksville police say the boy’s father, Chris Few, tried to back up into one of their patrol cars after they had cornered him in a dead end.

So they opened fire through the drivers side window, killing the boy and injuring the father.

The office identified the boy as Jeremy David Mardis and said he was shot five times in the head and chest.

He was using his car as a weapon, he was hardly unarmed.

The story said they can be charged, I found no proclimation of guilt, but hey they are cops. If they aren't guilty of this we need to fry them anyway, they must be guilty of something.

They may be guilty lets see. Not being able to find anything on a warrent looks bad, but if he was trying to run them down, murder goes right out the window.

BamaD -> RE: Another Officer down (11/7/2015 10:18:08 AM)

For some reason the investigators haven't reviewed the body cam "footage" to find out what actually happened.
No explination for why the Marshals (they were town marshals) thought they were serving a warrent if there wasn't one. The body cam should clear things up a lot.

"Louisiana State Police Col. Micheal Edmonson said during a news conference. Edmonson added that he had reviewed body camera footage from the shooting and said “it was the most disturbing thing I have ever seen.”

The article cited says they have. Perhaps you could get a grown up to read it for you.[8|]

If only you could read and think, instead of manufacturing reasons to justify the cops murdering people.

Colonel Michael Edmonson, head of the Louisiana state police, denied reports that Few backed his car into the marshals’ vehicles prompting them to shoot . “No. I didn’t say that,” Edmonson told the Guardian.

The article says the two pukes in jail were running a scam. They had purchased three used police cars and were using them to write tickets which is not the marshalls job. Two of the punkassmotherfuckers are in jail charged with 2nd degree murder the other two punkassmotherfuckers have gone into hiding and the cops are looking for them.

The only one "slow" seems to be you.

Lucylastic -> RE: Another Officer down (11/7/2015 11:41:29 PM)

the cops are being charged with murder of the six year old boy
NOT the father.
that seems to have slipped his tiny mind

zombiegurl -> RE: Another Officer down (11/8/2015 4:23:02 AM)

This could just be the result of police brutality blowback..... I mean wow if one cop is dirty, there are plenty of people free in our society who don't differentiate between the fact their are also good cops... ( please to meet you hope you guess'd my name... but what is puzzling you is the nature of the game....)

Seems like someone declared war on the Police lately.

zombiegurl -> RE: Another Officer down (11/8/2015 4:28:11 AM)

Also if it was a Ford Pinto (1970's) doubly dangerous, probably would qualify as an enhancement to the charges....[sm=prison.gif]

Sounds vaguely similar to the Zachary Hammond shooting.

If, as you said, the father was trying to back over the cops with his SUV the cops were fireing at him. This eleminates murder because they were not trying to kill the six year old. A 6 year old sitting in the front seat of an SUV most likely could not even be seen by someone behinf it. If the father was trying to run them down and they shot back it is the father, and not the cops who should be charged with murder, (that is the law). Worst case they are over charging. This is why we need to find out what started the shooting. This is why the need to see the body cam. This is why we need to know why they were after him in the first place. Tiny minds see a dead 6 year old and ignore everything else.

Lucylastic -> RE: Another Officer down (11/8/2015 3:34:38 PM)

back over the cops with his suv..
stop right there
...dont obfuscate with bullshit again
you are the one ignoring the dead and other victims of police overreach.
Same as Hammond, same as Garner, same as Davies.

Politesub53 -> RE: Another Officer down (11/8/2015 3:37:51 PM)

Bama has me blocked because I continually point out his bullshit. Can someone post this for me, its from Colonel Edmonson of the Louisiana State Police.

quote:

Both were working secondary jobs in Marksville as marshals when the shooting happened, Col Michael Edmonson of Louisiana state police told a news conference.

"He [Jeremy Mardis] didn't deserve to die like that and that's what's important," Col Edmonson said.

Referring to the body-camera footage of the incident, Col Edmondson added: "I can tell you, it is the most disturbing thing I've seen, and I'll leave it like that."

You are the one who brought up him trying to back over the cops, not me.
We don't know if any of this is accurate, we are getting comflicting information. I want to work with facts. And any fact of any other case are irrelevant to this. BTW while right off hand I am unfamiliar with Hammond and Davies, I thought that the Garner case was a miscarraige brought on, in part by overcharging, I don't want to see the same mistake here.
