joether -> How much Trump Respects the US Constititution (9/6/2015 10:47:35 AM)

A bunch of anti-Trump protesters showed up to one of Mr. Trump's speeches. In fact there are anti-protesters at all the candidate's running for public office speeches. Yet, as long as they are belligerent or try to forceful deny the speaker from speaking; they are ignored by the law. By the Secret Service, and people there for the speech. A concept that is allowed within the 1st amendment. No, not 'Freedom of Speech', but the rarily known one: "Right to peacefully assemble".

This is the counter protest to Mr. Trump:

This is how Trump's Goon Squad deals with 1st amendment individuals....

Mr. Trump employs thugs to do the dirty work. If he and his people behave like this now,.....try.....to imagine how he'll deal with US Citizens that disagree with him as a US President. Conservatives already have enough problems gaining minorities to vote for them. This stuff simply undermines those efforts. Its not enough if Mr. Trump fires one or more of his thugs. He has to apologize, to the individuals and the nation; Just as if a Secret Service person would ever do such a thing. Like a President would have to do. Here is Mr. Trump's latest test to see if he can be a US President.

Who seems more presidential:

Hillary refuses to make public appearances. Bernie Sanders sheepishly allowed BLM terrorists to push him around and take over his event

O'Malley apologized for saying that all lives matter

Trump stands up to the lunatics and says his piece...

The latest SurveyUSA Election Poll shows Trump pulling 30% of the Hispanic vote, 25% of the black vote, and beating Clinton 44% to 40%, with registered voters who say they pay "a lot" of attention to politics giving him a 54% to 36% lead over Clinton.

Heads explode in 3.. 2.. 1...

i was going to quote those poll numbers in another thread to comrade bird brain where he was positively gushing on how Hillary is so much more electable than trump.

Hillary and Bernie have been making regular appearances before crowds of people. An on a fairly regular basis. Mrs. Clinton has a portion of her time dealing with legal matters by a crowd of anti-Hillary folks that keep trying to make someone illegal that is not. Mr. Sanders does not have the political logistics that Mrs. Clinton has access to.

O'Malley and others are not likely to win the DNC nomination. Mr. O'Malley realized that "All Lives Matter" was a creation of the conservative media to fight "Black Lives Matter". For example, you are sitting at a table with your family. You are going to eat some good turkey. Except your the last person to be handed the plate of turkey. Unfortunately there is no turkey on the plate. So you complain "Be nice if I could have some turkey!". To which the person sitting across from you says (while eating a huge portion of turkey) "Be nice if we could all have some more turkey, right!" Notice what happens there? That person just took your personal stake in a problem, ripped it into shreds, and demanded more, thus, tuning you and your argument out of discussion.

"All Lives Matter" and the various incarnations that have spring forth from it, have in effect done. So now the black population is placed right back into its 'place' to be attacked further. With the problems not fixed, they grow more angered. The black community is underling that 'All Lives Matter' mantra is being used by conservative media to undermine their views. So they are less likely to vote Republican in the next election.

If Mr. Trump stood up to lunatics, he would have to challenge his own behavior! How often does he do that in public?

What does this have to do with the topic, Kirata? Please, explain it. That someone more popular can do 'anything' they want? Including forcefully removing with violent actions of another's 1st amendment rights while on a public sidewalk?

With your post, I'll say this and no more on the derailing-subject:

You managed to find a conservative leaning organization that places 'whomever' from the GOP/TP better than 'Mrs. Clinton' in a poll. You might find they were more likely leaning Republican than Democrat. What is funny is that they are comparing their polling between groups that are already 'conservative leaning' in viewpoint. Meaning, no one organization, including Suffolk, would be considered 'politically moderate'.

Just like in 2012, when conservatives were told Mr. Romney would not only win, but win by a landslide against President Obama. Tell me Kirata, who is the current President? Mr. Obama or Mr. Romney? Did Mr. Romney win or win by a landslide?

I take an 'old school' conservative stance when it comes to polls. I disbelieve them unless the liberal, moderate, and conservative pollsters are saying the same degree of information (or close enough). Most legitimate conservative pollsters placed Mr. Obama winning a second term in office. That is because they didn't ask people they knew would be voting for Mr. Romney or Mr. Obama. But did ask people 'still on the fence'.

Unfortunately, most polls got things wrong. Even with the number of people voting (the lowest in nearly 70 years). Mr. Nate Silverman got his prediction correct. Not just that election but very well in previous elections. I would go with Mr. Silverman's numbers than SurveyUSA.

The poll is irrelevant to the topic. Can you stick to the topic?

Is the topic of this thread "Polling Numbers"? Or of Trump having goons whom try to silence people's 1st amendment?

The second question is the correct understanding of the nature of the thread. You should try not to correct someone's understanding of reality until your understanding of reality is correct. Your understanding of reality is not currently correct.

Sure, thanks for asking.

Conservatives already have enough problems gaining minorities to vote for them.

The poll shows that Trump seems to be doing surprisingly well.

Joe

If I came to a Clinton speech, stood back 20 feet (plenty of room for her flunkies and security) and held up a sign that said "Hillary is a crook" and worked hard with my megaphone to yell her down, would she be violating my first amendment rights of freedom of speech when I was ejected?

And no, I am not going to do it, is a philosophical question.

Does it strike anyone else as odd that Trump is being accused of racism by people dressed up in Klan gear? Do you really need to pretend to be racist in order to protest perceived racism?

Perceived racism?, LMFAO, its called making a point.... and you just bit.

Well, the Klan was, after all, established as the militant wing of the Democratic party. LOL Perhaps the Klan really is anti-Trump.

True. Race-based organizations are pretty much exclusively aligned with the Democratic party. Which only makes sense as race is pretty much at the heart of everything they do.

I like to think most people know that "La Raza" means "The Race."

Either way though, even if it's whites under those hoods, the people under those hoods have been serving the Democratic party for a long time. That they would protest a Republican would be entirely in character.
