Anyone who went to catholic school knows exactly how this scenario would have played out in the penguin's office . The penguin would have beat everyone's ass...her for being hawt, him for being stupid, them for making the dare and a tongue lashing for anyone who saw it or knew of it. The only way to have a snowball's chance in hell of being not guilty of something was to be absent.

Seems a reasonable solution to me.

If the boy did this on a dare from other students, does this mean the other students could be charged with conspiracy?

Maybe bullying.

It would be nice if boys got the same education that people think women need.
I can actually remember being 13.... went to a girls school.
There was bullying, there was even fighting.
Yes girls need to be aware of their self worth and the right NOT to be assaulted.
Boys need to be taught it isnt ok to treat women disrespectfully.
THat starts in the home when small.
Domestic violence does irreparable harm to children. wether its maternal or paternal.
Of course hell will burn before that happens

WARNING: The following may be disturbing to some readers.

PIKESVILLE, Md. (WBFF) — Baltimore County Police and Baltimore County school officials responded to a report of assault involving two eighth-grade students at Pikesville Middle School on Wednesday. School officials took a report regarding a 13-year-old boy who kissed a 14-year-old girl during school hours. The unwanted kiss was allegedly the result of a dare made by students. Police confirm that the boy is now facing a second-degree assault charge as a juvenile. No one was injured during the incident, police say, and disciplinary actions related to suspension or expulsion will be handled by the school system. ~WJLA

Well, I think it's disturbing... Reason has a piece on it here.

well,.. I wish someone had done that (criminally charges) to the boys that attacked me (repeatedly) in school.. This girl was assaulted (even if its "just a kiss"), I was assaulted (even tho it never went as far as rape), the attacks still damaged me as if it was rape.. It changed my whole personality, my ability to trust people, I became a loner.. I would be a different person had that not happened to me.. Even now I rarely talk about it (& then only online)...

So to say no one was injured is an assumption that may not be totally incorrect.. Would this be acceptable for grown-up men to do in the workplace? for someone on the street to walk up to you and do that? This teaches girls to accept unwanted kisses, attention, etc as grown women at college, work, public and private places.. Girls especially should be taught to say "no", "fo you asshole", and to kick them in the balls if they try and to not take it anymore..

Oh, and all children, especially stupid little boys, should be taught to think first before acting and doing something stupid that they will later regret.. to be your own person and not follow the crowd.. to not be manipulated by others into stupid dares & other stupid things (like smoking, drinking, do drugs, other illegal stuff)...

and maybe the other boys that dared this stupid one should also be charged for inciting the attack in the first place.. they need to learn a lesson also, dont ya think?
