I'm going to write a book called "Gullible's Travels" and sell it to OP.

I'll even sell it at a dirt-cheap giveaway price of only $100 per letter or he can bulk buy at $10,000 per page (plus $1m P&P).
When he's finished paying for it, I'll throw in the bridge as a bonus freebie

Sometimes, I just don't get it. Maybe it's just because my grandfather was a salesman, and I had an uncle who was also pretty sharp and aware of others' schemes and scams. So, they were always talking about how to be aware of scammers. If a young kid is going off to the big city, they always tell him "Don't take any wooden nickels" as a warning to be careful. (Actually, I was never once offered a wooden nickel.)

And even when I first got internet, there would be all these dire warnings, which I've heeded.

I suppose what surprises me is that, for some reason, I figured the younger generations would be more internet savvy and streetwise when it came to these scammers. I could see it if it was some elderly person who's never used the internet before and got confused, but these kids who have had internet since they were out of diapers should have some idea of what to avoid.

I'm shocked. How could this possibly have happened to you?

It's unfair. It's criminal. It's downright deceitful.
Worse yet, she was young, beautiful, hot, and dominant too.
Damn.

I feel for ya, man. I really do.
It's not your fault.
She was a clever one.

Don't feel too bad about it though - she was probably too clever for most of us.
It's a good thing you posted this warning, so I'll be on the lookout for sure.
Otherwise, she might have likely snowed me even sooner than she did you.

Damn those clever Dommes.
Young, hot, AND beautiful!
They'll get me every time - unless someone - like you - takes the time to warn the rest of us.

Before you warned me, I probably would have paid the $300 PLUS the $100, before I realized she was a scam.
So, consider yourself lucky that you're one of the smarter ones, who didn't fall for it hook line and sinker.

Damn those clever Dommes.

THANK YOU! Finally someone understands what I'm going through. I thought I was talking to deaf ears. Hopefully people will read my post and not fall to these scam artists!

Dear Penthouse,

You will never believe what just happened to me... .

People in the US lose $50,000,000 a year in romance scams. You added your $100 to the pot. Looking at the big picture you really got away cheaply.

That's a good way to look at it. You're right.

Interestingly, his first sentence says it all.
So.... not just the once, but several women no less!!

And for someone naive and stupid enough to have a name such as his for a really crap product... No comment.

If OP is willing to throw money away without so much as checking anything.... I have a bridge for sale...

People's learning curve is different for everyone. You shouldn't be so harsh on people. Yea, I got scammed 3x. So what? My older brother weighs 300 pounds and he has been in therapy for 10 years. He is now at the point he feels comfortable walking into a room full of people. So it took him 10 years. So what?

In nevada there are 34 licensed butt huts. Three hundred will cover an hour plus the tip.

To the OP,

I am not sure if you had ever bothered to read the link that is at the top of every email you receive here at CS.
http://www.collarspace.com/personals/scammers.htm
It is right below the warning that clearly states:
DO NOT SEND MONEY TO OTHER USERS FOR ANY REASON!

What was it about their messages that made you feel compelled to throw caution to the wind and choose to ignore the warning each of the times you were scammed.

It would honestly be a much better lesson for other men who might be tempted to also choose to ignore the warning if you were willing to discuss that, rather than how you presented it.

What was it about you, and what was it about them that facilitated your choice to ignore the warning multiple times?

Voice verification will save people from getting ripped off???

I've known men who could sound like a woman, women who sounded like men when talking over the phone, and even if voice verification "proved" to you that she's female...merely having a vagina doesn't prove that someone is honest.

Well, first off, the ad from this site, she was young and hot. I mean she was drop dead gorgeous. She sincerely wanted me to be her "bottom bitch" and talked about all the wonderful things she was going to do to me. She said she lived close by and after our meeting from Starbucks we will go straight to her apartment. She said her girlfriend might join us too. I believed her. I don't know what else to say.

EDITED
I just wanted to add that the way she talked in her emails were so convincing. Someone in this post said 100's fall prey to the same thing I did. They just know what to say and how to do it.

In a serif or sans-serif font? The latter should be a little cheaper. Less ink, you know.

Dear, I think it is in your best interest to be a bit more careful. FinDomme's asking for large sums like that is the largest red flag.
Most FinDommes are CAM verified, which I invite you to ask for: not pictures or 'voice' verification.
Get to know her first, ask questions. Make sure you know who you're paying!

Good luck.

Sorry this happened to you.

Go to munches and events local to you, especially TNG events. Good luck.

I have never laughed so hard. This thread is wonderful. Resident Sadist post got me with "he"s down another 25 if he stayed at starbucks after", then I just couldnt stop giggling from there.

ok, ok, let me breathe and type..OP, darlin, listen there are great fin dommes out there. But youve got to not be so gung ho on getting with the first one you see. Follow advice given above, VERIFY!! GET TO KNOW.
Pay princesses wont waste too much time talking and verifying and such, so youll dodge a bullet there. But best of luck to you.

*back to giggling*

I've been financially ripped off by several Dominant woman. Not too long ago I had a different profile on this site. I began corresponding with a young, beautiful and hot Dominant woman. She wanted $300 an hour and $100 pre-pay into her google wallet before we met.

So I transferred $100 into her google wallet and went to the Starbucks at 1:00pm. She never showed up! And then her profile was gone! Can you believe that! I just want to tell people to read the red warning sign and don't transfer any money into any one's google wallet until you get voice verification.

But, but, you said you liked humiliation and denigration...

It sucks that people take advantage of people. At least you are not bitter and..honestly, while you should know better (you know "all that glitters is not gold", "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is") I feel like the people who take advantage of others are the ones who should be embarrassed. You learned your lesson and hopefully you will know to be wary of any ad/profile that is "too perfect"

I know I should know better. My only defense is my hormones get in away. Testosterone is a hard hormone to deal with. It's like going to a porn site and seeing the advertisements and I "just have to have it." So I sign up. I used my Mom's credit card and she found out about it. I go nuts living a sexless life style.
