Status: offline 		Can anyone explain the 'awaiting approval' post that is currently present on almost all of the boards?

Status: offline 		The answer is apparent when you click that poster's name.
In her brief time here she has made 24 posts, and only 2 of those are still visible.
In those 2 posts an admin-type person had to delete disallowed information.

So, my guess is she has been determined by TPTB to be slow at following the TOS and to avoid having to clean all of her threads they have decided to do this instead.

(Once upon a time, before the previous era of blanket banning [A A] was commonplace.)

Thank you. I had not seen that since I joined the boards. But it makes all the sense in the world.

For some reason I hesitate to visit people's profiles on the other side. They tend to go apeshit if you view their profile but don't message them.

Go to the other side, log out and then type the name in. It will allow you to view their profile without them knowing it.

Status: online 		You can also view the first part of their profile when logged in without showing up. If on the rare occasion you want to read the entire profile, then log out before you do. Agreed that people get all excited when a woman views their profile!
