Yeap, not one person can challenge the theory. Or is it the conservative media hasn't told you how to think on the current understanding of information, that has you so hesitate to discuss? Since it seems the only time any of you actually 'talk' about a subject material, I can find fifteen conservative sites saying the SAME DAMN SHIT. Meaning, you are regurgitating stuff from them. What happened to conservatives whom could think for themselves?

I have no clue but I do know one who would rather try to hustle a little pussy than argue with you?

I don't know if I could make it that far. You know how it is for us southerners...the minute I cross that state line someone is going to see me in my cut off jeans and bare feet, riding around in my jacked up pickup truck

Bullshit you drive a volvo and wear a mumu and flip-flops.

Welll... that was kinda what I was hinting at...you see my passport expired decades ago and I have a little history south of the "parallel". Granted it was a long time ago but still it probably is not a good idea to poke even dried dog shit with a stick.[;)]

A ) The Ignorant and Uneducated.
B ) Those Profiting off the Tragedies of Our Time
.

This is typical of your thinking, anyone who disagrees with you is either ignorant or evil, maybe both.
You are such a partisan bigot it is hard to believe that anyone could take the positions you do and actually believe them.
Since this thread is based on bigotry I'll not be back here.

"Nature has placed mankind under the governance of two sovereign masters, pain and pleasure. It is for them alone to point out what we ought to do, as well as to determine what we shall do."

To me, art is a pleasure. I read of no art or pleasure in your OP. I do read the slight pain of a rambling rant.

So from now on, I suggest you begin your posts with a set of facts you believe to be facts while staying away from what's irrelevant, most of which you seem to insert it seems, in an attempt to obscure judgement.

Look in the mirror if your looking for a partisan bigot. There are conservatives on here and in the nation that are in either category. That is whom I'm looking for to discuss this issue. You do not have a scientific background nor a desire to learn something useful on this topic. You are not very wealthy and profitting on this concept. Therefore, your in group 'A'. Truth hurts, doesnt it?

Between the two of us, you are more likely to have the 'football' mentality as it comes to politics. Its called' Zero-Sum' politics. One side has to win for another side to lose. And if your side is going to lose, your determine to inflect as much damage on your opponent(s) as possible. Yet, if they do the same to you; you get all pissed off.

With Climate Change, the effects that are slowly screwing this planet up do not care if your conservative or liberal. It has no sentience. It will become even more powerful with all the effects I listed in the OP taking place with greater frequence and degree. You say you would defend America and Americans from harm. Well, the science is in, and your on the side that says 'let it damage/destroy' the United States of America. So I can call your bullshit for what it is. Dont like, then perhaps you should seriously rethink your political viewpoints as they relate to the subject.

Sorry, are you unable to think for yourself? You need someone to post the information because your little mind is unable to process information?

Try READING the OP. All those nice words that are BLUE are links to ADDITIONAL information. The effects of sea levels rising is well understood in science. All of it is factual.

I have a suggestion for you: From now on, engage that lump three feet above your ass for something useful on these boards!

According to you, Mr. 'Scientist', nothing bad will happen if the ocean levels are raised by 20 feet? And your evidence of this curious development is.....WHERE?

They'll die of old age before they drown.

the absolute global sea level rise is believed to be 1.7-1.8 millimeters/year. Note that they are relative sea level trends, and are not corrected for local land movement... A complete table of non-CO-OPS station trends are available as a table in millimeters/year and in feet/century. Source: NOAA

1.8mm/year * 100 years = 7.08 inches

Study Predicts Antarctica Ice Melt if All Fossil Fuels Are Burned

Burning all the world’s deposits of coal, oil and natural gas would raise the temperature enough to melt the entire ice sheet covering Antarctica, driving the level of the sea up by more than 160 feet, scientists reported Friday.

U.S. Ice Cubes Melting At Alarming Rate

WASHINGTON, DC—High summer temperatures and ever-increasing levels of U.S. beverage consumption are causing ice cubes across the nation to melt at "an alarmingly unprecedented rate," the U.S. Department of Consumer Affairs reported Tuesday.

"We are looking at a nationwide trend of crisis proportions," said Clyde Simms, director of the USDCA's potables division and Clinton-appointed Beverage Czar. "If the current rate of melting continues, we may face a situation in which Americans are not assured the option of having an ice-cold beverage in their hands at any given moment" ...

[image]http://i.onionstatic.com/onion/1120/original/304.jpg[/image]

"Americans may have set themselves up for disaster by willfully ignoring the Achilles' heel of the inexpensive, easy-to-use ice cube," said Schweppes head of research Robert Krupp. "Research shows that the inherent frozen-water matrix which makes up the basic form of the ice cube is extremely susceptible to structural failure when exposed to elevated temperatures" ...

In many larger cities, authorities are taking action to avert a full-scale disaster. Boston is granting each resident a second refrigerator and up to eight ice-cube trays, while Los Angeles County has forbidden residents to wash their cars, water their lawns or irrigate crops in order to dedicate the area's precious water reserves to freezing and cubing.

I think we should start now and truck that ice to the southwest, namely...Vegas. We need it before it gets all salty and undrinkable.

I am recommending trust funds for all of the children. Not for education but to buy what will be new beach property in western Miami.

Manhattan looks promising too but that's for their children.
