Mine was -
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 60%
Your ECONOMICS issues Score is 40%
This quiz has been taken 22,571,796 times

I came out as "Centrist" - exactly 1 space directly left of the central point.

that's a short version of the Nolan chart survey im acquainted with and I landed in the same place, a conservative leaning libertarian.

I particularly like the grid aspect of it.

quote:

Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

Yeah, for me too. I always score left-libertarian on these kinds of quizzes, but usually closer to the center.

LOL same here again. In fact my grid may have been identical. If not it was dang close.

I normally think of myself as a leftie with libertarian leanings. But when I sit down and talk with friends that are libertarians, they say I go more towards their direction.

The same results I've experienced before (in a slightly more detailed test that Kirata shared with me, once):

Heavy Libertarian (almost extreme) with a slightly left lean.

So, to all the PPLs that call me a "rightist": Exactly how far off the reservation have you strayed?

LOL!

Michael

What I dont like about this quiz is that it places 'Statist' and 'libertarian' as the 'neutral' alignment from Dungeons and Dragons. With Liberals as good and conservatives as evil.

Libertarians are NEVER neutral. Nor is 'big government'. In fact, does the size of government determine whether the government is good for the people it serves?
Libertarians are just crazy fuckers (sorry DaddySatyr, there are many in that bunch that are just flat out insane).

If one answers 'maybe' down the line, they are a centrist. To get 'big government' one has to 'agree' on the stuff that doesn't make 'big government', 'big government' in reality. Is our government 'big'? Or is it actually small? Since a big government could easily handle the needs of the nation without to many problems. How easily can the current government handle that big debt we have on the books? Not to well. How about protecting the weakest of our citizens against the many challenges they must endure? We really do not do a good job there either. Or justice system is screwed up not from the size of government, but by people, whom 'look the other way' when their is money to be made. All in all, the current government of the USA is not big.

I've seen facebook 'quizs' like this one. All of them simple and of little real value or insight. According to the Dungeons and Dragons, I'm Lawful Good. 'Famous smart people', I'm Spock. For 'Fictional Nations' I'm the Alliance from WoW. My favor firearm is the MP-5. What does this all say about me? Nothing more or less then this quiz.
