What is interesting is, both sanders and Hillary says everything is a disaster right now, they listed alot of problems, with stagnant wages, unemployment, wealth gap, it is indirectly criticizing the failures of Obama reign hehe!

What have I posted that makes you think I approve of that moron or the morons who preceeded him.?

This was the vet question? I didn't miss this question, I just don't consider it a Vet issue question.

Anderson Cooper asked candidates what enemies they are most proud of making over their careers

quote:

Both men were behind landmark veteran legislation while serving in the Senate, and each touted that during the debate. Webb resurrected the GI Bill for a new generation, while Sanders helped overhaul the Department of Veterans Affairs following its worst scandal in history.

They still said nothing about what they are gonna do for the vets. They spoke about what they have done in the past.

Thompson, it sounds like you like to disagree for the sake of disagreeing most of the time, but do not really hold a solid position for anything.

Who do you want as your next President from all the Candidates available? And you have to choose one! No cop out like, the candidate I want isn't running.

hmmmm I noticed more blaming of the 2008 meltdown and the length of time it has taken to get back to where it was 7 years ago. which isnt blaming obama, its stating facts.
which is why I gave you links to income inequality information.
Its been going on for longer than obama.

Anyone who expected a recovery in less time is economically delusional.

Clinton's argument was also that, whenever a democrat is in the white house, the economy is always doing better. But I'm sure the cons will say, it's all the work they have done in the past that lead to this recovery and they took over just when results were showing. Ahh, it's a non-stop cycle. So if things don't improve in time the next 8 yrs and dem is in office, they're also gonna say, the damage in 2008 is so severe that it just needs even more time to get back on track.

One other thing I find interesting is. Okay, I am still confuse about senates and congress and all that stuffs, seems very complicated. We have ministers and MP, and they take care of their little areas and they vote for things to be passed, seems more simplified on our arena.

But dems keep mentioning that the problem is, even if the president is dem, he/she can't make anything happen because republicans rule the congress or something. So again, there is one more lacking question for them. The republicans candidates were asked this alot, on how will they bring two parties on the same page, and get them to agree so things can happen and can be passed. This question should have been posted to dems who blamed republicans for Obama being blocked from achieving certain things.

the nutsuckers can say that, but history and facts and reality day to day disprove that.

What have the nutsuckers done for our economy except borrow and spend?

And waste money on political smears?

Could post for us the incidences where singapore cops recieved any sort of serious repramand due to citizen complaints?

Define serious reprimand? Because of our extreme low crimes, our police deal more with neighbourhood squabbles, than murders or thefts, things like that. Most of the time, the police are dealing with childish issues. They will get a warning about being more polite when handling disputes.

As usual your story changes. You said that the cops could be repramanded by a complaint from a resident and now you want to dance and obfuscate with your usual bullshit.

Yet they can arrest you for the simple act of having chewing gum in your possession.

This gotta be the biggest lie, since I chew gum ALL the time infront of the police.

You may do that where you live but you do not do it in singapore[8|]

In 2004, international pressure from United States brought the change in the Singaporean law that reinstated the legal use of some small amounts of therapeutic dental chewing gums. Their use is heavily regulated and has to be purchased directly from dentist or doctor (if they fail to send your credentials to the government, then they can be jailed up to two years and fined $3,000).

Tourists that visit Singapore are allowed to bring chewing gum with them, but only maximum of two packs per person. Any more than that and they will be susceptible to be charged with "gum smuggling" which carries the penalty of one year in jail and $5,500 fine. People that are caught with leaving chewing gum remains in the public space can be charged with monetary fine, community work, or often - public beating with the bamboo stick.

http://www.chewinggumfacts.com/chewing-gum-facts/chewing-gum-in-singapore/

I even offer them gum. No issues at all. It is not illegal to chew gum at all. We like our police here. And we bother them for the stupidest things. Like one time, I practically called the police, because a hawker store manager was giving me so much shit about me having my bubble tea from another store and I told the store manager to call the police if he had a problem, and the store manager did. The police came, and the police defended me against the store manager.

Well of course they did[:-]

The cainning penality for rape is 24 strokes the same as obstructing a railway engine or carriages, joining an "unlawful assembly",second offense of prostitution and non violent extortion. It is pretty easy to see how hard yall come down of rapist and child molesters.
This fellow here got 14 strokes (not the max of 24)for raping of a minor.

I don't know if you know how terrible one stroke is. From what I heard,

You question my knowledge while explaning your ignorance of the subject by noting the hear-say nature of your knowledge.[8|]

my granddad has many friends who got caned in prison before, and one stroke is enough to knock some people out by the immense pain of it, so even 14 strokes will be spread out in weeks to execute.

Once again your posting bullshit. Where does it say in the penal code that the strokes may be spread out over several weeks? You claim that yall are tough on rape and child molesters but I have shown from public records that that is not so. The law says that rape is no more serious than than non violent extortion because they both carry the same legal parameters of punishment. We have seen where an adult was convicted of rape of a minor and did not recieve the maximum caining penality.

Anyway, I see no problem with caning for most of the crimes, but I do know that I can't remember the last time caning was executed for anything but rape and molest. When recently some European people came and vandalise our public trains to brag that he graffiti on it to social media, he got caned and we all felt he deserved it .

Perhaps if you actually lived in singapore you would know this:

Statistics

In 1993, the number of caning sentences ordered by the courts was 3,244.[9]

By 2007, this figure had doubled to 6,404, of which about 95% were actually implemented.[10] Since 2007, the number of caning sentences has experienced an overall decline, reaching just 2,500 in 2012.

2500 per year is about fifty a week...it would seem a resident of singapore would have noticed.

But I think 100% of our people are happy with caning.

Since your post seems to mitigate against you being from singapore just where do these 100% live?[8|]

That is certainly not something we want to disappear from our justice system because what's there to be afraid of? You don't commit the crime, you don't get caned. Simple.

Except that the fact that it happens 2500 times a year seems to indicate it does not work all that well, now does it sweetie.?[8|]

I don't know if you know how terrible one stroke is. From what I heard, .... I've been publicly caned even when I was 8. So yea, whatever!

Make up your mind. Is it a horrible punishment or one that an 8 year old girl laughs at?[8|]

I am rather fond of pointing out when folks like you try to peddle bullshit. If you do not like your mindless bullshit being pointed out that would seem like a personal problem more suitable for you to discuss with the chaplin and not me.

Who do you want as your next President from all the Candidates available? And you have to choose one! No cop out like, the candidate I want isn't running.

I have stated a number of times that I am in favor of "none of the above" being on the ballot. If "none of the above" gets the most votes then the office stays vacant until one of the above gets more votes than "none of the above"
As for your "false choice" you can put that puppy where the sun don't shine sweetie.

to follow up a bit on that greta:

quote:

...Income inequality has long been one of the liberals’ favorite issues. So there is nothing surprising about its being pushed hard this election year. If nothing else, it is a much-needed distraction from the disasters of Obamacare and the various IRS, Benghazi, and other Obama-administration scandals...income inequality has actually increased during five years [now more than 6] of Barack Obama’s leftist policies...

This is not as surprising as some might think. When you make it unnecessary for many people to work, fewer people work. Unprecedented numbers of Americans are on the food-stamp program. Unprecedented numbers are also living off government “disability” payments. There is a sweeping array of other government subsidies, whether in money or in kind, that together allow many people to receive greater benefits than they could earn by working at low-skilled jobs...

Most of the households in the bottom 20 percent of income earners have nobody working. There are more heads of household working full-time and year-round in the top 5 percent than in the bottom 20 percent. What this means statistically is that liberals can throw around numbers on how many people are living in “poverty” — defined in terms of income received, not in terms of goods and services provided by the government.

Most Americans living in “poverty” have air conditioning, a motor vehicle, and other amenities, including more living space than the average person in Europe — not the average poor person in Europe, the average person.

“Poverty” is in the eye of the statisticians — more specifically, the government statisticians who define what constitutes “poverty,” and who are unlikely to define it in ways that might jeopardize the massive welfare state that they are part of.

The more people who are in a non-income-earning mode, the greater the disparities with the incomes of those of us who have to work for a living, and who have to earn more to offset high tax rates. Yet liberals often act as if this is an injustice to those who don’t work rather than an injustice to those who do work, and whose taxes support those who don’t. Actually, the liberal welfare state is an injustice to both, though in different ways. Despite whatever good intentions some liberals may have had in creating the ever-growing welfare state, practical politicians know that more dependency means more votes for supporters of bigger government. There are no incentives for either politicians or the bureaucrats who run the welfare-state agencies to get people off their dependency on government programs...

Liberals don’t talk — or perhaps even think — in terms of the actual consequences of their policies, when it is so much more pleasant to think in terms of wonderful goals and lofty rhetoric.

Yeah, no.

National Review is a fucking joke since Wm. F. Buckley died. And this article elides the point. Just look -- Benghazi scandal, you mean now we are conflating it with Harry Gowdy's illegal usurpation of power to launch political attacks on another, or the wanton wasting of money by nutsuckers on an edited film, accusing wrongdoing in an agency that clearly has none?

Uh, it takes some big balls and some real shiteating to pretend there is truth to that shit, if thats a reason to believe, there will never in my lifetime be a republican president(although there are no republicans on the horizon). There certainly will never in anyones lifetime be a nutsucker president.

National Review is a fucking joke since Wm. F. Buckley died.

It was a joke when he was alive...an articulate joke but still a joke.
