Okay, in my entire life, and maybe I am living in my own little bubble, but recently, a man informed me that I have been peeing wrongly, all women pee holding their outer lips open. He also claim that doctors will insist you pee that way to get sterile sample for medical reasons. It's the normal way for women to pee.

So I've taken many urine tests at different doctors, male and female, and I have never once been told to pee like that.

And I never knew other women pee like that! I obviously have never seen another woman peeing in my life.

Is he lying to me? Or is this true? Any of you men witness other women peeing this way, or any woman pees this way?

Am I the only one who do not do that?

I feel like did my mom neglect to teach me how to pee properly? LOL!!

You should double-check with him and ask if you are also menstruating incorrectly.

How are you even supposed to do that with a toilet seat in the way?

I read on the toilet. I don't even have a hand available to do that, even if it was 'proper'.

I dunno, maybe its a cultural thing..Ive had kidney problems since I was 7 went thru years of having to provide mid stream urine for testing, not once, in those years(47 years nearly) have I ever been told to do that. Didnt learn it in nursing either.
The only time Ive done so, is when I was learning how to pee standing up in the shower.
and that was for stream issues.

Ewww... hold our outer lips open? My fingers would get wet.
As for medical tests, the usual way here is they tell you to wipe with the disinfectant they provide, pee a bit first and then pee into the vial.
I have NEVER followed those steps unless I am having a medical test done.
Proper procedure for me is drop the panties, sit and let loose.

I guess I have been peeing wrong for 55 years. I am soooooooo good at peeing I don't even need a toilet! I mean, hell, I can pee when I laugh or sneeze. I am Professional..do not try peeing at home or without proper supervision!

I guess I have been peeing wrong for 55 years. I am soooooooo good at peeing I don't even need a toilet! I mean, hell, I can pee when I laugh or sneeze. I am Professional..do not try peeing at home or without proper supervision!

LOL sorry Bita, I just peed a bit myself... I was at the docs yesterday...I have a new hernia, im hatching another fibroid and I have Pneumonia, with attendant cough. Ive been doing the same for four weeks... a coughing fit, well all hopes of not peeing myself at the moment is impossible. Its embarrassing, my hubby is teasing me. I will get him back, one day.


Now I just have to find a "depends" panties in black latex and I will be fine....

I'm rather curious as to what happened to bring up this subject between a man and a woman. I have never discussed peeing methods with anyone, male or female.

I don't know, it started with what do I think of circumcised dicks. Which I told him, I never saw a circumcised dick in my life until in my 30's. so it doesn't look normal to me, it looks alien.

And then it went on to peeing for uncircumcised dick, that usually men would pull the foreskin back to pee, I mean, so pee don't get stuck in between the flap, as a hygiene thingy, just like women spreading her lips apart with her hands to pee so that the pee won't touch the side walls of the lips.

And I said...., no woman does that!

And then it started him telling me, all women do that! That's how women pee!

And I was like what????? No way!! No women does that!

And he told me to go ahead and ask other women, all women does that!

So I did :).

Looks like, his wrong!

He even said, I should ask my doctor too, and my doctor will confirm it. But I said how can my doctor know how most women pee? Unless his been a peeping tom.

One of my exes, used to like us to pee together, I would sit on the throne, and he would perch on my thighs, and go... it was weird at first, but interesting in the long run.
Im guessing it happens with BDSM people into watersports.

You know as well as I do that urine tests look for substances in your system, not on the outside of your genitalia. So why are you putting so much stock in some guy's expertise about female urination?

I really thought there is a possibility what he said was true and I've been doing it wrong lol!

Because his explanation was, the pee stream cannot hit the vagina lips as it would capture foreign bacteria not from the urine as well, so that's why the lips has to be spread.

Sounds like he is pretty anal about pee.

Listen, he stands up for his pees ..ain't no nipples hitting knees there so set your mind at ease. In this area, you are expert over him. Unless your bladder has actually burst, you have probably been at least good enough to make it this far. Just keep, er, going, and don't worry. There is toilet paper and towelettes and those butt washer things popular outside the U.S. You're good.

FelineRanger: women's urine samples are frequently to check for UTIs, not alcohol and drugs. They're checking for bacteria.

And no woman I know does this unless she's standing up in the woods. You wipe with the alcohol pad, let a little urine out and then stick the cup under to capture a sample.

I'm betting this is what Oside said, that he's watching fetish videos. Tell him not to take porn as reality.

I did. He claim he almost all the woman he has been intimate with, which are Canadian women, majority of them pees this way. And of course he claims Canadian doctors would back up his claims. And he keeps insisting it's the proper way of peeing for women for hygiene maintenance, it's how to pee without the vagina side lips from getting dirty, that's why most women practice it.

Like unreal! He even now tells me, women wouldn't be honest with me about how they actually pee lol. But I am asking online, women have no reason to lie and even if they are uncomfortable, they can choose not to answer. lol
