I'm talking to a nice guy, who wants to introduce me to scat; particularly in terms of taking it orally, to put it nicely........its not something I've done before, and I'd appreciate some advice from those who know more about it. What infection dangers are there in the consumption of it fresh? Should I get some shots? How do you do it?? Any advice please, would be much welcomed since I do like this guy, but don't want to be doing something that's really risky.

You will need a detailed medical history from his birth.

There is a difference between eating one's own faeces (autocoprophagia) and another's (allocoprophagia). Most human psychiatric reports refer to the former and not the latter. In the animal kingdom, coprophagia is also most commonly auto- or at least that of a relative most likely to share a similar microbiome. I suspect the dangers of transmitting enteric pathogens is greatest when they are not already part of one's own flora.

The substantial benefit of public health at a population level is largely due to reticulated, treated water. It seems certain that - at the very least - not drinking others' enteric pathogens is pretty darn good for population health.

Person-to-person transmission of Shigella, STEC, Hep A, Hep E and poliovirus are all well-known. For direct evidence, Shigella transmission via oral-anal route, probably provides the best case series. Outbreaks, with this as a risk factor, and demonstrably identical biotypes and antibiograms, is about as good as you'll get. Is it coprophagia? Moot point? Microcoprophagia, I would argue.

The question doesn't seem like a first question type but I'll take it seriously and suggest that the op realize that feces is about 50% bacteria, by dry weight.

I don't know what a 'first question type' is, to be honest. Because I haven't been on the boards before of course doesn't mean I'm not experienced, but I haven't done this particular activity before, so am seeking advice. I'm pretty sure I won't be doing it either, from what mnottertail says.....and done some research for myself. Wow! Can you get some diseases from this! I suppose, as someone who religiously washes my hands after any visit to the loo, I ought to have known anyway; but some people do this as an activity. Apparently; do they actually live?! How do people do this and remain healthy?

I wouldn't indulge in that sort of activity for all the tea in china or all the gold in Fort Knox.

I don't give a stuff about the risks as such - there's just far too many to contemplate.

Unfortunately it will be hard to find the information you are seeking here.

A watch you may not have thought about is medication. Is your partner taking any medications? Usually some amount of medicine is voided by the body in the urine or in the fecal matter. If you are eating or drinking a person's waste then you could get low doses of your partner's medication. Very important to know especially if you are allergic to a medication and your partner is taking that medication.

Another watch out is you need to know if your partner has any disease he/she could pass on to you.

For Vaccines I would recommend the following. And they are just good to have anyways. But do your self a favor and look up these vaccines and what they cover:
Hepatitis - A must
Typhoid - nice to have

As for safety of actual eating fecal matter from a bacterial aspect. That is much harder to answer. Urine is typically sterile while in the bladder. So drinking urine from a healthy person is typically safe. Fecal matter on the other hand is not sterile. It contains a lot of bacteria. Most of it healthy bacteria (if the person if healthy). There is always a risk you can get sick from that bacteria. And it is hard to quantify how risky it is for you.

I neither and for or against fecal play. I would recommend trying to find a doctor who is into BDSM play who can provide better medical information on the risks.

I had read it was primarily dead red blood cells, but either way spot on about the need to insure your provider has a fully clean health screen.... The only thing permanent about love is the possibility of a lifelong STD...

What you're probably thinking about is the fact that OXIDIZED bilirubin reflects brown to our eyes when white light is shined on it, where the bilirubin itself came from dead red blood cells (meconium is much darker because it only comes from oxidized bile (stercobilin) which itself comes from the gall bladder).

Otherwise, human feces would be grayish white (or yellowish due to high fats, or even greenish due to specific bacteria).

Someone (I forget who) asked if human feces was primarily red blood cells so I was explaining that our stool is about half bacteria (by dry weight) and not at all (percentage wise) composed of red blood cells (which wouldn't be so bad, in contrast, to re-ingest as the bacteria would be, immunologically speaking).

By wet weight, our doo doo is mostly water, but when you dry it out, it is half bacteria by dry weight and the other half is stuff like cellulose and fats. Only a miniscule portion of our stinky stuff is oxidized red blood cells (which is what gives human stool that lovely deep brown coloring of the somewhat cooked foodstuff that the OP's consort so badly requests he/she eat).

Meconium is different stuff altogether, I agree. Interestingly, even this sticky darkish infant poo poo also contains our gutsy friends, the bacteria, chief among them being the lactobacilli and the enterobacteria.

While it may look very tasty, I'll have to defer to others as to what it tastes like.

Hi crumpets it don't taste like pollo asada....lol in my experiences (accidentally done of course {repeatedly accidentally of course}) I have found the taste to be bitter, so if you have a Thai palate for bitter, sweet, salty and hot, well you might be interested...lol thank you again I can't wait to be corrupted like you!!!!

Hi AshleyTG cool your trans.... in hindsight my post to you would be wake up you can expect and demand the same level of love that any women should expect. Don't accept yourself as anything other than female.
It is not normal in most male and female connections to expect that you will have to "eat shit" to be attractive to a person. If it was me having to make the call I would say dump the bum.... All you need to know about scat is at your fingertip. If you taste yourself and am cool with it I would never disagree with you.
But even as a slave I am my owners treat me very well and so if this can happen to a slave, it should be without argument that you are treated respectfully as the women you are... Ok , stepping down from my soap box... and kicking it under a bush..,

oh and JOK3ER is on a rant about a non TOS issue "best answer" rule" apparently I replied
according to JOK3ER when I should not of. So gee if I broke the "best answer" rule", which is likely not a TOS rule or not applicable to this current conversation. All I can say is gee golly I am sorry.... I promise I wont do it again.... I feel terriable just God awful terrible that I tried to answer AshleyTG question about the healthiness of eating poo poo.

Nobody can know for sure, but I strongly suspect it's because his behaviour and demeanour on the messageboards in the last day or so have not met the required minimum standard.
