I ask why you want to arrest and prosecute those who commit misdemeanors without calling for the arrest and prosecution of those who commit felonies. You seem to be having a lot of trouble coming up with an answer. Why don't you want to arrest and prosecute those who hire illegal aliens? You have nearly 3000 post and I have read many that called for the arrest and prosecution of illegal aliens which is a misdemeanor. I have yet to see you call for the arrest and prosecution of those who employ illegal aliens which is a felony. It is posible I missed one but not likely so if you have made any such post point them out.Anyone who seeks to punish only the misdemeanor and not the felony is clearly bigot

For someone who is apparently a born-and-bred Singaporean, you don't know your own laws.

Singaporean nationality law

Citizenship by birth

Citizenship by registration
Registration is the term used in the Constitution to refer to the process commonly known as naturalisation. A person can apply for registration as a Singaporean citizen if he or she has been a Permanent Resident for at least two years and is gainfully employed or married to a Singaporean citizen.

Citizenship by naturalisation
Although provided for in the Constitution, citizenship by naturalisation is no longer granted. The government instead uses the constitutional provision for citizenship by registration to grant citizenship to resident aliens.


It looks very similar to most western world rules for citizenship.

Australia grants permanent residency to parents and step-children of australian citizens so I don't see how it's different from USA's one. Those kids are citizens and you can't deportate them in that case they would be exiled, every western country grants family visas for what I know.

Status: offline 		I studied in Oz for a while and get regular job offers from there, I found applying for my US VISA and green card was a lot more difficult. Though I can't say I ever had a desire to work in the Philippines, far less live there...
