ORIGINAL: olslutslave4mist First off i have not seen anyone explane the difference between the two and YES there is a difference and big one. A sub has say to what the Dom/me can do and how to do it, like using safe words given to the Dominant by the sub. The Dom/me has some control but not total control over the sub, the sub still make everyday decisions on their own. A slave on the other hand has NO say what so ever. They give complete control to their Mistress or Master in trusting them with their life and will being. A slave must and will do what ever their Mistress or Master tell them to and never ask questions about it, they give up all rights to their body and life. That is the short form of explaining the difference between the two. i am a slave and live to give control of my self to my Mistress. my pleasure comes from pleaseing my Mistress. Like Oside, I don't agree with your definitions of sub and slave either. To me, there is virtually no difference between the boundaries of either /s type and there is also virtually no difference in behaviour or expectations. The D is always responsible for the safety, health, and well-being of their /s, regardless. In my books, the only difference is when the permission is given. For me, a sub gives permission for a period of time; a scene, a day, weekend etc, and needs to give permission every single time the dynamic is being enacted. A slave gives permission once, right at the beginning of the relationship and doesn't need to be asked again unless something new is involved in the dynamic. Beyond the timing of requesting/receiving permission(s), there isn't a whole lot of difference between a sub and a slave. YMMV.
