Being the new guy on the block so to speak and so new here I am asking is it worthwhile making any contribution to the boards? I have noticed a number of posted messages that are awaiting approval and wonder is that a normal protocol for a recently posted message and if so how long does one have to wait for the message to be approved please? I will only contribute when I have something worthwhile and none contentious to write about. No doubt when I do there will be critical comments because one simply cannot please and sop be in agreement with everyone.

HI, Welcome.
You might be better off reading past topics that have been discussed. I think this board was worth contributing to.
But it depends what you are looking for.
If you are looking to have everyone agreeing with your comments. It wont happen. wether its slave vs sub, Dom vs Domme, Mistress vs Goddess. Master vs Dominant, male supremacy, female supremacy, relationships, rules, safety vs edge players, or even any action that we do, will draw different conclusions, facts, opinions and disagreements.
A lot of us have been here for years, and know each others styles and some history.
A lot of it will depend on how you "react"
Politics and religion is a hell hole 99% of the time.
Right now we have an influx of idiots pretending normalcy and polluting the forum with their inane shit.
We are not trusting.
If you can deal with all that.
Welcome.

Thank you for the time out it took to respond. I am not naive and so know that many will not agree with my posts if I make any that is. I will not write anything contentious in any deliberate manner. I would also simply ignore any deliberately insulting comments designed to cause a negative response.

This place used to be fun. Even arguing was fun when done intelligently and humorously.

Now they are allowing truly inane people to just ramble as if this was their private blog.

Often, it your tone that causes problems vs. content.

People come and go here more consistently than in the past.

I believe everyone is sick of socks since they are childish attention seekers who contribute nothing worthwhile.

Indeed. I would class 12 occasions as being often myself but that is a matter of one's perception of the word often.

Let's see. You have 26 posts on the boards already and you just joined the site a few hours ago. Your profile picture is a dick pic gif. I smell yet another fucking sock. But hey. Socks are given free reign to ruin the forums with inanity. It's a great place for you to get attention you'll never find in real life.

I quite agree.
Having read a lot of his posts, they are of the same ilk.

26 posts are not it is still far fewer than the number you have posted. At least they are not deliberate contentious like the posts you obviously spend most of the time here writing. This forum is for people to post information and questions on. It is not a place for you and other cowardly bullies to cause trouble for perverse reasons.

Here's a perfect example of "reaction". I would first make sure before assuming that any poster who comments is speaking of you personally. I say "you" a lot when generally speaking. But then again I've been here for enough time for the regulars to understand how I type, talk or whatever.

I think this place is very much worth contributing to. And can still be fun. We just have a few asshats every now and again. Which is where the awaiting approval comes from. They say enough dumb shit and get put on speech restriction. It's funny when it happens

Aaahhhhhhhh......
So good to have that info at your fingertips. For someone "new" there's a lot of information that's known.

That's what caught my eyes as well. Now my question is this...what would a person get out of doing this? Maybe they've rubbed ppl the wrong way and want a new start, so they create a sock. But wouldnt it just be easier to be apologetic and start over? I mean, whatever personality trait has ppl not liking the person is obviously gonna repeat itself. So own up to it and move on. Socks never make sense to me.

I can't recall the name but a few years ago there was such a whine, shortly before the meltdown, so it seems we got somebody back

How much I post, why I post and how I post is none of your business.
Ive never felt the deceit required to have a sock to fuck about with people on the boards. Not in 20 years online and not ten years in this forum.
Whatever I have said, I will back up..not hide
Whatever I post are MY words, not hidden bullshit said with deception.

Some people use more than one account because they've lost/forgotton their password, the machine ate their account, they are in a new relationship or out of one, or their previous name was a couples ID, or they are being stalked by a site user (male and female). All good reasons.

Whats your reason?

Hey. Don't burn your fuel idling, this is an open forum with too many trolls of course, but you can always decide what you read and what you Igone and whose post you repond to. You can also use the report sticker when they exeeded the limits.
