The implication is clear that the people in the town he represents or protects or whatever is full of people with traditional values so if any Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Shintos or whatever are offended, take you baby fucking ass to somewhere where Oprah will protect you from being offended by something that is IN NO WAY offensive. I am not a Jew, but I am not offended by the star of David. I am not alot of things but I am not offended by their religious symbols and really do not mind them on public display. Of course the government should not pay for them but if the People want to do it they should not run into a bunch of problems with these ninnies who start lawsuits over facebook posts n shit like that.
Sooner or later, some lawsuit will place this sheriff's moronic actions as the final reason why the town lose several $$$ in court costs.

OK, for the addleminded I will spell it the fuck out. Sheriffs put up signs all the time. This whole thread exists because of the political incorrectness of that particular sign. Therefore the ridiculousness of extreme political correctness is germaine to the topic. For example if he put up a sign saying "SPEED LIMIT 40" this thread would not be here. I agree. However, if this sheriff has the support of the people in that town then fine. People are allowed to live the way they want and indeed I have considered (back when I had money) buying whole neighborhoods and just renting to whom I choose. Never advertise, I got enough friends to fill it up, or did. (I know more dead people than alive, otherwise I would never have gotten on the internet, yup, I USED to be productive) that makes me a wannabee separatist. Would I rent any of my houses to minorities ? Well, I would leave it partly up to the rest of the tenants, because I believe that you got a right to not coexist with the sort of people you do not like or trust or want around you. If that town is like that, more power to them.
There are places in this country that have little microeconomies n shit, and very closed. That is OK by me. If they are not ruled and schooled by idiots, places like that still with two Parent homes raise good people. Well usually. What this guy did was to express at least his desire not to wreck that.
If the People in that town do ot support him of course he will be gone. If elected they'll find someone to run against him, if appointed they put pressure on the mayor. But if they don't it is their goddamn business and we have no right to tell them how to live.

For the record, President Obama in seven years has not taken our guns away. Nor the bibles. Nor enslaved us all. Gas prices are not $8.35 (for month of November of 2015). Nor are we at war with Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and even the Martians! The guy likes to eat bacon burgers. If he's Muslim, he's doing a shitty job of it!
For the record, a President cannot simply take guns away. Even by executive order because it would be unenforcable. And we are enslaved. Once you sign a cognovant note you are enslaved, so living on credit is enslavement. Have you seen a decline in consumer debt ? Have you seen an increase in consumer savings in the banks ? Have you see more CASH transactions for houses or cars ? Have you seen an increase in private home ownership ?
Gasoline (try to make the distinction because natural gas is becoming important in the political arena and the market for same is the cause for all this shit going on right now in Ukraine and Syria n shit, but thigs are about to change again because they are laying pipe in Hungary) is low because they have artificially depressed the price (kinda like gold) to punish Russia. And the bottom line about the Muslim thing, I don't know who the fuck you think you're talking to here but I never said a word about Obama's religion. I remember that preacher form whom he distanced himself around first election time with the "God damn America". Not really all that happy with that but still does not matter. If Obama says it that is a different story. But he didn't. What's more, I do not care if he is a Muslim. If he is over 35 and born here he is allowed to be President, case closed. []Y []N". Wish I still had mine just for the hell of it. No barcode ! but bottom line is that if most of the Presidents we have had lately are Christian, try a Muslim. He cannot invoke Sharia law. You would have to fill not only congress but the supreme court with Muslims to get that over.

Read the Constitution, it is not the government's job to help anyone and I would like to decide where my money goes. They used force to take my money, just because it is for a good cause makes it no less a robbery. When they use it for the roads and whatever that is a fee, not robbery, but when they give it to someone else that is wrong.
Let's say I show up with a gun and rob you, but I use the money for a good cause, feed my starving kids, or even tuition or a pair of shoes. Is it less of a robbery ? What if I told you during the robbery that your money is going to a good place, would you go look for more to "give" me ?

Well I don't do that. Most people want to work, or at least want what working begets them. There are problems. First of all, technology has made it so one person can do the work of ten. what happens to the other nine ? Second of all, the US government has made it economically attractive to send jobs overseas. you know, I can understand things like ipods n shit, but drywall ? DRYWALL ? And now a bunch of houses are literally going to fall apart because of it. Who pays ?
But the fact is, the homeless cannot get a job. There is no phone number to call them in for an interview, they have no shower or bath. How the hell are they going to get a job when they get to that point. And yes, it would be the Christian thing to do to help them, but let the Christians do it. But this is not a Christian country.

Agreed. I don't know how much you know about things but I have a pretty wide knowledge base. I have done many different jobs and am self educated. While that did not work out perfectly it has served me well enough. But I know how to do things. I can make things on a lathe or mill, build and fix electronic and mechanical things. Used to be acar guy when we had cars, and can build you a house, but I would hire people to pour the concrete and do the roof. I could do everything else, carpentry, wiring, plumbing, HVAC. I would job out the drywalling and painting though because it bothers my eyes. I have woprked on industrial machines and, just, I cannot recount all of it right now, but I have something to say and I want to set this perspective. As such :
People were smarter in the 19th century. One example, I know how to do a square root longhand. I do not mean trial and error which is how most people do it when they don't have a calculator, I mean pointing it off and all that. ANY number. How many people can do that today ?

If private money is not invested there is usually a reason, like they are into the subject and know that the product will be inferior to what is on the market now and more expensive. The founding fathers were a bunch of liberal thinking people. Conservatives would have sided with the King! That's because many of the actions the founding fathers would take, dealt with the concept of freedom rather than 'lets not rock the boat'. The Boston Tea Party was about a bunch of people that wanted the King of England to take the 13 colonies MORE in taxes rather than less. Because if they were taxed more, they could rightfully demand more troops to protect them. Funny how every Tea Partier of 2015 gets this historical fact incorrect. The original Republican Party was pretty damn liberal.
