post your fucking sources and stop guessing bullshit you know FUCK all about.

Sorry, it was on TV haven't found the post yet.
One rumor is as good as another and that is about all we have.

Further research indicates more confusion in reporting.
The cop who was killed was also a pro-life minister.

Still you assume that anyone who does not follow your line 100%
is an ignorant liar. But you have never admitted to even one of your sources being at all inacurate even though some have been blatantly so.

prove it

In the thread about Few you posted a link, and even quoted from it saying that Few was backing his car toward the cops when shot. Not only did you claim no responsibility for what you quoted but when the film from the body cam was released it showed him outside of the car when the cop started shooting.

I have asked that question of 3 people, he was the first, none have answered.
(no Lucy I am not saying you are one of them.)

It might be best if you answered the questions put to you before you talk about others not answering your questions. I'm still waiting for a response to the questions I put to you in post #59 on page 3 of this thread.

Here they are again for your convenience:
"All we hear is silence from the same people who have spent most of the last year attacking PP, threatening to shut down the Fed Govt unless PP was defunded, making lurid and often false claims about PP calculated to inflame their reactionary fans, to whip up their indignation on a highly emotive issue. These people have cynically played the politics of abortion for all its worth, with their irresponsible and inflammatory speeches and demands. The question is not whether they're morally responsible but what is the extent of their moral culpability.

How much has their rabble rousing contributed to this incident? Why shouldn't they be held accountable for the consequences of their demagoguery? They were happy to reap what they saw as the political and electoral advantages of their agitation - why should they be exempt from responsibility for the many negative outcomes of their stance?"

I never even saw the body cam.... oh and my aversion to the whole damn thing was the kid being shot so please find me the link and I will comment on it again. When you know the difference between backing into, backing onto and backing over...I will take more notice.

When I quote a link...Im going on the information given in that link, I didnt write it, I didnt edit it, I didnt put it on the web as information. Im not responsible for its accuracy. Nine times out of ten when I put up a link or a quote I look for other information to back it up or debunk it.
You want to make me responsible for a journo getting his syntax wrong. Not gonna happen, and YES I do admit Im wrong, and I apologise when I am, I did it with a post bounty made just the other day.

SO you cant post your sources, fair enough, but dont expect anyone to take you seriously.
THe information about Garrett Swasey( the cop who was killed) was released when they identified him, he was a minister, and a skater, no bad reporting there.

Now you say, One rumour is as good as another
There was a rumour it was a bank robbery. According to fox and breitbart. Chase bank said in twitter, that there was no bank robbery,

https://twitter.com/Chase/status/670410096422338560
Theres also a rumour that hes an independent and a trans gendered female, (which Cruz pointed out.) Well having seen him, that is SOOO doubtful. There also has been no further reporting on that.
The bank robbery has more or less been silenced. Altho a lot of people claim otherwise.
Mike huckabee claims no one who is prolife would condone the shooting, yet there are pages and pages of twitter comments and comments on facebook and breitbart/foxnation/ by exactly pro life people wishing more people had been killed.

And no, I dont think that ANYONE who doesnt agree with me is an ignorant liar, just YOU.

Words of an officer during the siege. Chilling...but wrong. The weapon was later identified as an "AK-47 STYLE" weapon. A big difference. One is fully automatic, the other is not. And the latest from the news is this:

NBC News reports that Colorado Springs gunman used an “AK-47 style” firearm, which is similar to an AR-15 inasmuch as it is a semi-automatic firearm. A semi-automatic fires one bullet every time the trigger is pulled, whereas an automatic weapon fires repeatedly once the trigger is suppressed.

Latest from the police is this:

Police say in a statement Sunday that they are sealing the warrants related to the case against 57-year-old Robert Lewis Dear. They say they are not providing information on the weapon used in Friday's shooting, a timeline of events or a motive of the suspect.

Why do you think full auto is a requiremet to be an ak47?
The below site sells ak47 none of which are full auto.
Why are you trying to pick flyshit out of pepper?

mnottertail -> RE: 3 dead 8 injured at PP In Colorado springs (12/1/2015 8:45:50 AM)

You cannot obtain a fully automatic gun in the US unless it was made before 1968. I expect someone could remachine some parts and make them automatic again.

An AR and an AK to not look at all alike, or no more than a horse and an elephant. Their similarities are extremely general.

Why are you trying to spin whole cloth out of horse shit?

Those rifles are semi-automatic rifles DESIGNED to look like an AK-47 and that's it. I used an M16 when I was in the service. I've seen the "civilian", semi-automatic version of them. They may look like an M16 but they are NOT an M16. Neither the AR-47 "style" weapons or the M16 "style" weapons are assault weapons.

So you are poud of the fact that you blame this on pro life people.
That means that the prolife cop/minister who died tryng to stop this is to blame for the incident. Your argument is to absurd to deserve comment.

Exactly. I know it sounds like my father and those of his generation but there's a big part of me that feels that "if you want to carry a military weapon, then join the military".

That's where I am at with it, so we have found one small slice we are not contentious about. I don't like the term assault rifle being used on regular every day gunnage. But I do think that if your fantasy is to be some war hero look alike, join up, theres wars to send you to right now.

off in a slightly different direction, I can only assume the pro-abortion comrades will be enlightened by this:

"Megyn Kelly Tears Into Liberal Media Over Coverage of Planned Parenthood Shooting: ‘Is This Not Evidence of…Bias?’"

quote:

Fox News host Megyn Kelly tore into liberal media on Monday night, accusing some reporters of bias by comparing recent coverage of Friday’s shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic to the way in which journalists have handled other violent incidents.

“While police have been careful not to provide information on a possible motive, that has done little to stop some from suggesting this has everything to do with political rhetoric from the right as well as that series of anti-abortion videos released this year,” Kelly said.

Noting that some liberals are blaming anti-abortion rhetoric for alleged shooter Robert Lewis Dear’s actions, Kelly charged that many of these same individuals have denied any connection between anti-cop rants such as ”pigs in a blanket, fry ‘em like bacon” and recent attacks on police…

She went on to note additional examples as well, including radical Muslims’ attack on a Muhammad cartoon contest that was hosted by Pamela Geller; as you may recall, Geller was accused by some of sparking the attack by hosting the controversial contest.

Kelly also accused many media outlets of barely paying attention to the undercover Planned Parenthood videos when they were released this past summer by anti-abortion group the Center for Medical Progress, saying that some reporters are now suddenly invoking these clips in the wake of Friday’s shooting...

“Is this not evidence of the bias in some of these reporters who are on the pro-choice side and think any expression of the anti-abortion — the pro-life stance — is angry rhetoric?” Kelly asked.

See we have a point of agreement, calling every semi auto rifle, and even pistols, assault weapons is just spreading falshoods for the sake of political advantage. I do know that not everyone who has an AR (which I personally dislike) does so because they are some kind of Rambo want to be. Most are just more comfortable with the low recoil and the feel of the pistol grip. Those who are on some kind of ego trip consern me. Owning and using firearms is too serious to allow ego to rule. While you may not agree I have little respect for the .223, up close it can't compare to a 12 ga, and at range it is outclassed by the 06 let alone the 7mm mag or .300 mag.

Yeah, I guess I don't shoot often enough to worry over ballistics. a .223 is a nato round and made to not be very efficient. I actually love .308 its a good pumpkin slinger, not flat and fast as .30-06 but it drops what it needs to.

If it is fantasy shoot out, nothing beats a .45, you dont have to get close, and if you hit em in a hand, its a lot like a garbage can coming at them, it will move them. A 12 is good for dirty work inside. Hell, anything going from a 6mm 6.5mm 7mm. 22-250, .372 its all good, but again, .308 is most of what you need long range and easy to get still.

Meh, they all kill. Even a .22 for wetwork and with accuracy, can take out long range as well, though one prefers something bigger.

And we could talk this shit back and forth all day, and it has been done on many threads, but what we have here is a guy that shot up some people, and thats the thread.

Didn't mean to leave out your favorite, yes the .308 is a good round.
Home defense I have a 12 ga, for carry a .45, if I am force to shoot I want them to stay shot.
Of course the .223 is inefficient, a military round takes more people out of the fight with a wound than with a kill.

The weapons pictured on the site are ak 47...not look alikes. It does not need to be full auto to be an ak it does not need to have a milled reciever to be an ak.
Consider just the chinese variants:

M22 = AK-47
Type 56 (Milled)
Type 56-1 (Milled underfolder)
Type 56 (Stamped) = AKM
Type 56-1 (Stamped underfolder) = AKM
Type 56S (S = Sporter)
Type 56S-1 (underfolder)
Type 56S-2 (sidefolder)
Type 56S-3 (fixed stock, bakelite furniture)
56SS (No buttstock, sightblock is back against the gasblock, 7.62x39mm)
84SS-1 Carbine (5.56x45, underfolder)
84S-3A (Fixed buttstock, black plastic furniture - 5.56x45)
84-2 (5.56x45 sidefolder with red bakelite furniture)
86S (7.62x39 bullpup)
88S (5.45x39) = AK-74
86S-7 (7.62x39) = RPK
Type 63 (7.62x39 variant of the SKS with detachable magazines)
Type 81-1 (7.62x39 or 5.56x45 sidefolder, bolt design is based more on the SKS than the traditional AK, but seems to have traits from both)
Type 81 (7.62x39 or 5.56x45 LMG, a more robust version of the RPK)
Type 79 = Dragunov

Nope...just calling an ak an ak and nothing more.

Look up (fbi vs 223) see how that worked out.
