Shooter bought the gun legally. Went to Saudi Arabia for one month. Came back with a Beard. Co-Workers say his a devout Muslim. Also newly married and brought his wife to the US.
Pipe Bombs were found.
So far, these are all the findings.
Ha! I call this definitely a self-radicalized individual.
What happens is, they interpret Islam on through their own research and readings, and this is usually their conclusion. They go Mecca to feel close to their God and get blessings for their mission that they think they are suppose to do.
I think in my country, my government is tapping people's internet patterns, because they have arrested many of such individuals, like in the airport before they leave the country to some Muslim country for either training or whatever. I reckon they are "marked" individuals, so if airport staff checks their travel ticket and see them traveling to a Muslim country with possible terrorism links, they are prevented from leaving and arrested.
And they go through a program where they are re-taught the peaceful interpretation of Islam, before they are released again. Their release is dependent on psychological evaluation IF they have truly see the error of their interpretation.
