It seems the pain of childbirth is the gold standard here, mostly because no man has experienced it. I believe the greatest pain is getting your cock caught in your zipper!

Yeah, it's kind of silly, and I never really understand why women keep bringing it up. OK, it's painful. It's also called life. You're a woman, and in order to become a mother (which I think most women want to do before they die), you have to go through childbirth. Are men supposed to feel bad for women because they bear children? I don't get it.

No one is asking for sympathy for bearing children the topic was who has the higher pain tolerance. It is a proven fact men come to the ER with the first sign of a heart attack, women are able to tolerate the pain and due to that end up more often having more damage done.

As a RN of more years than i care to admit, i must admit men do seem to have a lower pain tolerance than women. Men have more of a difficult time post op, slower to get moving etc. As well they require more pain meds, this is comparing the same sized individuals as not all men are built of huge muscle mass as not all women are petite and fem.

Just my opinion from years and years of observations in real life.
