to be fair--though I might be a bit specious here---liberals do worship the state and so don't have too much of a problem turning jesus (should they acknowledge him at all) into an organ of the government, or even worse, a communist...

Well as long as we are on the subject, don't forget bankers, defense contractors, big agri. and pharma...liberals all. They worship the state for the money found in the assumption of risk, low bids and cost overruns, the subsidies and the protections from herbal medicine, not to mention the state providing a very, very friendly (generous) tax code. The previous 4 millennium of Greek/Roman/Jewish/Christian/Western thought and discussion have had all but a vanishingly small segment of All important social and religious human figures as male. (Greeks and Romans had male and female deities, the Boss was always male.) Including the Anti-Christ.
Mary excepted, among Catholics. And she isn't really an actor, more a symbol for God's merciful side. She had to be Something Holy to deal with the Roman church's attitude to sex and starting reproduction.
The Anti-Christ has been more a meld of the Greek goat-god Pan (Irresistible Charisma), the Zoroaistrian and later Jewish and Christian Devil, and of course, Christ. Christ with a hidden agenda! ALL are male spirits if any gender is used, which all the involved religions gave to important figures, including the Godhead.

We've got homelessness, poverty, war, an unaccountable government, and the worst government corruption and cronyism since the days of Henry the 8th. Yet our beloved leaders are debating the idiotic comments of some guy because he is rich.

Let's face facts here, you hear the kind of crap that Trump comes out with in taxis every single day, but it doesn't get debated. You just nod and remember not to tip. If Trump wasn't Trump but was NEET Mr Rankin of 23 Moby Dick Terrace, Brentford, nobody would give a shit. Just because the guy has a fat wallet I don't see why that means anyone should.

I know what Jesus did...what he took on...without forcing others to do as he did. And as long as YOU'RE the one using him as an example...what costly medical technology did he use to raise Lazarus from the dead? To make a blind man see, to make a crippled man get up and walk? The answer is none. He did it himself. That's the important thing you...and others...keep missing. If you...or someone you know...can do that, bring them on. I help people every week in my office that I'll never get paid for. No one is forcing me to do that. But I do it. But I hate being forced to not only pay for my health insurance...or face a fine if I don't...but that of others too fucking lazy to do it themselves because the "progressives", the group filled with "love"...made possible by other people's money...will do it for them.

If you had children, your argument completely disintegrates. People without children are required to help pay for your child's education, whether or not you could have paid for it on your own. Per the rules, if a petition reaches 100,000 votes, it has to get a debate in Parliament. Putting all right wing political correctness aside: Trump's views have infinitely more impact than those of Mr Rankin of Brentford because of his position. Whatever the outcome and possible official justification for his banning, personally, I'm happy to see him banned from this country because he's a loathsome racist arse.

I love how some of you keep pulling out this bit about Jesus helping the poor and sick without consideration of health insurance or ability to pay yet conveniently forget that in the passages in Matthew cited by Lady Constance, there is an admonition to educate the poor and the sick about the kingdom of heaven and the glory of God while helping them for part of helping them is to cleanse their souls...

There is also this to be found about helping the poor and the sick:

We have a solemn obligation to help people who are in genuine need, especially family members (1 Timothy 5:8). However, there is no obligation to support a person who is just being lazy or exploiting kind-hearted relatives (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12). Such a person may benefit more from training and counseling aimed at helping him or her get and keep a job. Most communities have agencies that can help

The concept comes from Nostradamus. Whom stated there would be three Anti-Christ in future history. Individuals whom were the opposite of Jesus Christ. He even stated in terms how we would know the individuals in the hopes humanity would destroy the individuals before their path of destruction and terror got rolling. The first was Napoléon Bonaparte, the second, Adolf Hitler, and the third, Saddam Hussein. Now the Anti-Christ according to Nostradamus would not always be the central character of the destruction and terror, but would play a great role within it. That these Anti-Christs would bring about three explosive and horrible world wars (three of them). In which the KNOWN world would be involved.

We typically think of World War 3 as the final destruction of the human race by way of Nuclear Armageddon. But, that didn't happen. That's right, WWIII is already over. Its been over for almost 10 years. People get hang up on World War I & II. The belief that World War I took place in the early part of the 20th century is a HUGE and common mistake. That war, was called "The Great War; The War To End All Wars".

So Mr. Trump, while an asshole politician, is not the anti-christ. But then again, all the asshole-like people seem to think he's pretty cool. Enough to place him in 1st place in the polls against all other politicians competing for the GOP Nomination. Conservatives have bitched since 2001 for why the good Muslims do not remove the bad Muslims (i.e. fight and kill the bad Muslims). Well, seems history has repeated itself on the ignorant masses (and they *ARE* ignorant). Why aren't conservatives removing those asshole/evil/bigoted conservatives from their ranks? Oh, that's because if they do, they will lose the election in 2016 (to the White House *AND* Congress). Better to side up with the Devil than fight him, right? Amusing to watch so many pseudo christian conservatives side with individuals that wish to remove systems that help the poor, hungry, homeless, and the vulnerable from good care. Conservatives have a *LONG* path to follow if they want redemption for their evils.....

Stupid and fallacious because you and others can't make his actions be what you say they are representative of. Not can you come up with a convenient way to deal with what else Christ said about helping these people...that bit about praising His father and His father's kingdom.

This is an article I would love to show any Muslim who tells me jews are evil, israel is evil.
I've never seen a muslim defend jews or israel. But here we have plenty of jews defending Muslims.
You know one of my favourite music is hardcore, but strangely locally, it's dominated by Muslim bands. So every time in these shows, it's like booths after booths of how evil Israel is. And fund raising for Palestinians.
