It means a lot of us took the test from just our human side, not especially the kink side.

It also has a great deal to do with what each "statement" means to you personally. I didn't hit 100% dark, because there were a few questions, no matter how I looked at them, they were not me. However, if you look at each question and "translate" it to imply complete selfishness, you'd disagree with it. How I translated each question is from A-Z and how it effected me.

I do. I do it every chance I get. My livelihood is based on sales. I am not dishonest, however I am one hell of a salesman. Every time I have a person interested in what I am selling, I will absolutely judge them based on appearance, transportation, vernacular, and articulation. I will present myself as a peer to them mirroring their vernacular and articulation and when all is said and done whatever they pay is, was, and always will be their idea. Most people selling a "money is tight" story show up in their worse clothes but nice shoes.

Jus sayin

I blame the people showing me cute, fuzzy animals today. I damn near adopted a puppy.

I forgot how good of a salesman I was until a couple of weeks ago. I'd have surprised even you.

See? But I don't. I just consider it being me.

Therein lies the difference between people and cultures.

I have no wish to manipulate anyone.

That to me is a 'winning at all costs' mentality, and if you can't 'win' through being straight down the line, no bollocks, then there is no pleasure in 'winning' at least for me.

I would say that if you are basing your persona on manipulation, then you are dishonest - moreover full of shit.

I suppose it depends upon what values you hold dear.

To me, it is far better to 'lose' and do it in a manner that is in keeping with the spirit of fair play, than it is to behave like an animal in order to 'win'.

Which is the point I was making when the resident life and soul of the party stepped in with her half-arsed comment.

As the great Aristotle once said: most people are only interested in the outcome and will do anything, possibly even sell their own Grandmas providing the outcome suited them; while a small minority of people hold principles dear and will stand by those principles whatever the outcome. He didn't say anything about Grandmas - I've added that for effect.

Remember, you may get your way but in the end when you look in the mirror you can't really say to yourself: "this is me, this is what I stand by and I'm proud of myself". All you can say is: "I'll do anything to get what I want".

Pardon me, but that was no half-assed comment. I put my full ass, in all its glory, behind my statements. If your halo wasn't so blinding maybe you would have seen that.

Infrequently vile

But we all need to take the quiz again after someone ticks us off. Wonder if that changes the end result?

Is this a bad habit, a badge of honour or a successful defensive mechanism?

Is going onto a thread for the sole purpose of posting off-topic and insulting comments about people's results from a quiz that is meant to be all in fun a bad habit, a badge of honor or a successful defensive mechanism?

Don't need to take the test. I know what I am, and one of those attributes is tell it how it is, you get what you see, no bollocks.

Life's a philosophical question: what sort of person do I want to be?

Far better to win some/lose some in the spirit of honesty than your proposal.

Those 'wins' don't mean anything when all is said and done; what matters is the person you are.

And honesty and straight down the line principles are the bare pre-requisites of being a human being.

Have you considered a career in politics?

You do realize that you're waxing philosophically over an online quiz, right?

Meaning?

It's a message board and people post their observations, which I did.

If there's one thing I can't stand in life is people not being honest and treating people as a means to an end.

The reason being I've seen many a person step over people to get what they want and those people are cunts who really shouldn't be let loose outside of their front doors.

Online quiz? I didn't respond to the quiz; I responded to people who think it's clever to be manipulative. It ain't. When you grow up, emotionally, you'll realise that people are not there to be pawns in whatever game you think you're playing.

Huzzah for you, Mr. Morality Police. Since you've donned your wig and red robe to come sit in judgment on us all, are far too good to participate in the actual topic, and are clearly here to school us in your awesomeness, do tell us wot exactly you do for a living and do for the world?

The fact you think being honest and upfront is somehow 'awesome', and by extension unusual, tells a story, and not a very good one about your attitude to life and other people.

I'm not judging you; I'm commenting upon your attitude.

There's a difference. Not even a subtle one.

They're your words, mate, so not sure what you're crying about.
