Hillwilliam -> What is everyone paying for gas? (12/15/2015 12:07:11 PM)

This thread was around several years ago when one of our more breathless RW trolls was proclaiming that $10/gallon gas was on the way and as proof, he showed a pic of the most expensive station in the nation and portrayed it as typical.

Anyways, I paid $1.54 last week with a 15 cent discount. (about 1.69 to 1.75 is typical around here now)

What is everyone else paying?

Ours has recently had a price drop due to the price of crude oil dropping.
It's about $7.89 a gallon right now - cheapest it's been for over 2 years.

At one point at its peak, it got to $13.33 a gallon then dropped to $10.65 for about 18 months.

You guys get your fuel subsidized.
Ours are taxed to the hilt and then some. [:(]

I paid $1.91 per gallon this morning.

The UK always pays more for has than the States.

Lucylastic -> RE: What is everyone paying for gas? (12/15/2015 1:02:37 PM)

91.9 cents a litre here in Toronto..regular.

kdsub -> RE: What is everyone paying for gas? (12/15/2015 1:02:40 PM)

Here outside St Louis I paid $1.55 and from what I read the price may even go a bit lower. A few years ago i remember more than a few threads here on gas prices when they were $4 plus. A few were trying to say the price was justified and was the only way oil companies down through local distributors could make any money at all... Will they were full of crap and today's prices are proof that we were getting gouged then and I'm sure we will again.

In Vegas, we are still playing $2.49...the cheapest I've seen in a while. I am shocked it is as low as some of you folks are paying.

bounty44 -> RE: What is everyone paying for gas? (12/15/2015 1:16:42 PM)

2.29 in new York state, down 6 cents from yesterday---might be the highest gas taxes in the country...thank you liberal democrats and nyc...

And we can't ignore that the prices of damn near everything else went up, as a direct result of fuel prices. Yet I don't see my grocery bill coming down at all.

Thank god you don't live in a nutsucker state like Nevada, or Virginia where gas is higher. You are right to thank those liberal democrats.

femmefatale301 -> RE: What is everyone paying for gas? (12/15/2015 5:05:21 PM)

2.39 - 2.59 since I have to buy premium.

kdsub -> RE: What is everyone paying for gas? (12/15/2015 5:59:19 PM)

Drive though Arnold 55 and 141 that is where i found the $1.55 at a Phillips station... at Sam's Club it is $1.66. I have often wondered why some parts of Missouri the gas is so cheap. I spent Thanksgiving in Corpus Christy Tx and the gas prices right next to the refineries were 20 cents higher than Missouri... go figure.

FR

Per Gas Buddy, here in Phoenix, AZ 87 octane is about $1.75/gallon. I'm paying ~$2.15 for 91 octane, slightly less depending on where I do my grocery shopping.

bigjb62 -> RE: What is everyone paying for gas? (12/15/2015 6:58:24 PM)

I don't pay anything for my gas. It's a byproduct of my metamucil.

LadyPact -> RE: What is everyone paying for gas? (12/15/2015 11:28:28 PM)

We paid $1.95 over the weekend. Haven't paid that little in years.
