" There are a couple other ways to do it, but the bottom line is that we got what, you, me and RO who even know about these things ? Shit, people don't even know their rights in court if charged with a crime. They have no clue how even the civil court works. With all the statutes and codes, the commoner has given up on even trying to understand law and that is much to the delight of lawyers, and even moreso the government. And actually the banks, which actually do defraud people these days. Like telling people they do not quality for a refi unless they are in arrears and they actually tell people to stop making their payments. And then get quiet foreclosures in courts set up in tents down in Florida. Of course people should have recourse if they know how to use it, but the house is already gone. This is enough hijack. Once you got the house, defend it with a gun. T^T

Hiding people isn't something I like to do. Sometimes even Thompson comes up with something noteworthy. If certain posters get annoying I just ignor them but that's me, though good for you on hiding Thompson. As for your trivial insults, "lack of couth and intelligence" in this instance, I've seen you do so much better than that in the past formulating your arguments and trying to back it up with your lnks and research that make it more difficult and thought provoking to argue with your opinions. Also, referring to post #385, liberals play the Snotzi card on conservatives far more often than the reverse. The same goes for the fascist card.

I would agree that is policy with the cops but that reduces the number of witnesses. hitting a leg, especially while in motion, is exceedingly difficult. Not if you know how to shoot. Everyone is also taught to shoot in order to "stop the threat", not necessarily maim or injure. Center mass happens to house the central nervous system; disabling that would nearly immediately stop the threat. I can guarantee you if you are shot in the foot you are no longer a threat. In the movies people with multiple bullet holes in them continue to motivate like a quarterback moving downfield...but that is the movies where "it is just a flesh wound" is cliche. Furthermore, the femoral artery is in the leg, thus shooting "in the leg" to "not fucking kill them" could do exactly that. How close would you say the femoral artery is to your foot?
