Who the hell is Dakota Cottonwood?

Status: offline 		I keep hearing that a woman called Dakota Cottenwood was one of the founders of modern day BDSM practices? I can find no reference to her online except for some obscure British TV series called Gender Benders set in the Whitechapel area of that cities east end where she portrays some hagered old witch who apparently begat someone called Nick Cottonwood who is apparently called Old Nick and is absolute evil personified. Jesus is referred to as Old Bill in some war between Muslims and Jews in which the Christians become piggy in the middle which causes them problems because both Muslims and Jews loathe pork. I find myself strangely confused. What are the origins of all this please.

Status: offline 		There will be profound changes coming to the boards this winter. Lots of new members joining and posting the same goodwill message.Will the Moderators be able to cope? Will the message boards crash? Will the website go down with the weight of so many new members? They will not be Bots that is for sure. Yes more members must mean more profit overall. Lucky owners indeed.

I'm guessing the ID is a mis-spelled 'whoisdotcotton'??
In which case, it's a satirical take on a BBC soap called Eastenders.
Dot (Dorothy) Cotton was the mother to a scoundrel named Nick Cotton in the series.

I think your whole OP is a mix-up of Eastenders and all sorts of other crud and nothing to do with BDSM at all.
And when you stop making more socks, we might listen to you.

I love British soap operas! Never was able to get into American soaps. Was hooked on a Polish soap for a while until I moved and lost the cable channel that aired the show.

All of this true, none more so than your drug induced state of confusion, but a small point of order: Old Nick is another term for the devil. The one and only devil. Not Nick Cotton: a petty criminal, yes, but certainly not in the same league as Old Nick when it comes to hellish designs.
