I do realize that collarspace used to be collarme.com ......so I guess, the site is something of a residual and can only function as it does. For now, I guess I'm stuck with only being able to use forums, which is nice outlet of sorts, I admit.
It's a bit of a bummer and has to be for countless others like me because ---others like me certainly joined and intended to be able to "view" and interact with other profiles. I'm understanding that there can only be so many to help maintain a large member site but it would be so much better, if the "join the community" had some note or announcement clarifying the site will not give immediate access to new profiles for whatever techy reason they want to give (it could go out on the welcome email, which I did get in my email inbox, btw) That would at least be honest and up front. At this point, there is dishonesty on the part of the tech or techs that run the member site where profiles are displayed. I guess I'm just stating the obvious to others on this thread and I realize not much is going to happen. So, I'm yielding to that. Basically, I do feel cheated and I'm sure many other posts like this have went before me. No expectations from those in the forum who read this because, as it was explained above, the forum is a separate thing. This has been very ironic experience but it is definitely not an experience that I will not be able get over and move on from.
