ohhhhhhhhh, deceptive videos!!

sorry comrades:

"Congress Refers Planned Parenthood For Criminal Prosecution"

quote:

With all eyes on President-elect Donald Trump's forming cabinet, you may have missed a major development in the Planned Parenthood undercover video scandal. On Thursday, the House Energy & Commerce Committee’s Select Investigative Panel decided to refer the Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast to the Texas attorney general for criminal prosecution due to its selling of aborted baby parts.

In the summer of 2015, the Center for Medical Progress unveiled its undercover investigation into Planned Parenthood's trafficking of baby organs. At one particular site, the Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston, Texas, the undercover actors found that employees were hiding their sale of fetal issue by using "accounting gimmicks."

“The evidence that Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast charged exorbitant amounts of taxpayer money in exchange for fetal specimens that it provided at nearly zero cost is overwhelming,” CMP President David Daleiden said at the time, urging Texas leaders to send a message that Houston's children are "not for sale."

They got the message - and so did Congress. After the Select Investigative Panel's investigation, they felt compelled to refer Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast for criminal prosecution.

Family Research Council President Tony Perkins believes the panel has taken the first concrete step to holding Planned Parenthood accountable for its grave actions.

"The panel's recommendation that Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast be criminally prosecuted is the appropriate next step in bringing justice to bear on a group that clearly sees itself as above the law.

Next step: defunding.

"With criminal prosecution a growing possibility, the new Congress should once again use the reconciliation process to redirect taxpayer dollars away from Planned Parenthood," Perkins urged.

Oh, sorry dogshit44, your communist nutsucker slavers are constantly finding investigations and possibilities of 'criminal prosecution', never quite attaining the level indicated by the felchgobblers. Townhall is asswipe, as is the notion that nutsucker slobberbloggers have some credible and useful discourse or facts.

"Family Research Council Statement on House Select Panel Referring Planned Parenthood for Criminal Prosecution"

quote:

WASHINGTON, Dec. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The House Energy & Commerce Committee's Select Investigative Panel announced today they have referred Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast for criminal prosecution by the Texas Attorney General. The announcement followed an investigation into whether abortion centers profited from the sale of baby body parts.

Family Research Council President Tony Perkins made the following comments:

"The panel's recommendation that Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast be criminally prosecuted is the appropriate next step in bringing justice to bear on a group that clearly sees itself as above the law.

"With criminal prosecution a growing possibility, the new Congress should once again use the reconciliation process to redirect taxpayer dollars away from Planned Parenthood.

"Last year, Congress blazed a trail in preparation for a president who understands the value of every person, born and unborn. On Election Day, that's exactly what voters delivered. On both the federal and state level, voters empowered the pro-life party to bring an end to the forced partnership between taxpayers and Planned Parenthood.

"I thank U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and the committee members for their investigative work," concluded Perkins.

"House Panel Refers Baby Part Selling Planned Parenthood Chapter For Criminal Prosecution"

quote:

The undercover videos released by Center For Medical Progress (CMP) earlier in the year have finally generated a positive government response. On the first of December, the House Energy & Commerce Committee’s Select Investigative Panel for Infant Lives announced that it has referred Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for criminal prosecution for its role in selling the baby parts of aborted babies. Eight other organizations involved in selling baby parts, were also referred to their local Attorneys General.

The committee’s work began with the Center For Medical Progress undercover videos. The Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast referral was spurred by the 5th of those videos. The video of this chapter of Planned Parenthood selling baby parts, which was taken at Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast’s office (it’s embedded at the bottom of this post). Along with some documents garnered from Texas Public Information Act request (the state equivalent of a FIOA request ) the video demonstrates that Planned Parenthood was using accounting gimmicks to hide its illegal sale of parts, and also that the doctors were changing the way they conducted abortions in order to have better intact human baby remains to harvest for profit...

As Texas Right to Life notes, instead of pursuing an investigation of Planned Parenthood, the former Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson “mismanaged the case to the benefit of her friends at Planned Parenthood,” indicting “citizen journalists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt, the heroes who documented the shocking misconduct of Planned Parenthood” instead of prosecuting Planned Parenthood “after they were caught red-handed in blatant wrong-doing.” Charges against the CMP investigators were later dropped, and Anderson was not re-elected.

The Texas and Louisiana Planned Parenthood affiliate is one of nine criminal and regulatory referrals from the Select Panel. According to a fact sheet released by the Select Panel, the nine referrals include:

• The University of New Mexico was found to have violated their state’s Anatomical Gift Act by receiving tissue from a late-term abortion facility, Southwestern Women’s Options in Albuquerque, NM. The matter was referred to the New Mexico Attorney General for further investigation and prosecution.

• After conducting a forensic analysis of the limited financial data submitted by StemExpress, the Select Panel found that it was violating federal law by profiting from the sale of aborted baby remains. Referrals were sent to the El Dorado, CA District Attorney and the U.S. Department of Justice.

• The Panel’s investigation revealed that StemExpress and “certain abortion clinics” were violating patient privacy rights under HIPAA for financial gain. A referral was made to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

• It was discovered that an abortion facility in Arkansas violated the law by selling aborted baby remains to StemExpress for profit. A referral was made to the Arkansas District Attorney.

• The Panel uncovered evidence that a university in Ohio was violating state law by trafficking in aborted baby remains. An oral referral was made to the Ohio Attorney General.

• DV Biologics, a tissue procurement company, was found to have been illegally trafficking aborted baby remains for profit and had failed to collect California sales taxes. The Orange County District Attorney has sued and the Select Panel made a supplemental referral. (Operation Rescue uncovered a quid pro quo relationship between the owners of DV Biologics and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who granted special favors to them.)

• It was discovered that Planned Parenthood of Gulf Coast broke the law when it sold aborted baby remains for profit to the University of Texas. Operation Rescue’s Texas attorney, Briscoe Cain, received evidence of this illegal conduct through a FOIA requestand referred the evidence on to investigators. The Select Panel referred the case to the Texas Attorney General.

• Advanced Bioscience Resources was found to have profited from the sale of aborted baby remains to “various universities.” A referral was made to the Riverside, CA District Attorney.

• The Panel’s investigation discovered that Presidential Women’s Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, violated the federal and state law though their relationship with StemExpress, which allowed it to illegally profit from the sale of aborted baby remains. The matter was referred to the Florida Attorney General.

The good news is that the committee’s not done with its work:

Chairman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) issued the following statement on House passage of H. Res. 933, to authorize funding necessary to allow the Select Investigative Panel to complete its inquiry into America’s abortion industry and fetal tissue procurement entities:

quote:

“Our Panel was tasked with investigating areas that, prior to the revelations of undercover journalists, received too little attention. For most of us, it is nothing short of an outrage that Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics supplement their budgets by selling human fetal tissue from aborted babies. The House charged members of this Panel with investigating fetal tissue trafficking, second- and third-trimester abortion practices, the standard of care for infants who survive abortions, and the role played by our taxpayer dollars in this sector of society. Over the last year, we have held hearings that explored the bioethics surrounding fetal tissue use and that revealed the sobering reality of how some bad actors seek to profit from the sale of fetal tissue in violation of federal law.

“The work of our Panel is specifically focused on protecting the integrity of research, scientific advancements, and voluntary organ donation in America. Evidence we have uncovered reveals that the unethical and potentially unlawful practices of some bad actors may be putting important research at risk. Considering all that our Panel has identified, despite having barely a year to conduct this investigation, it is now up to us to build on this work, to hold our government accountable, and to stop these affronts to human dignity.”

As are all the CMP videos, this particular one is hard to handle, but this time it’s not for graphic images of baby parts. This time its because of the thought of some funky accounting practices to hide the disgusting practice of selling pieces of freshly killed babies....these are human beings. The fact they are trying to hide the practice with accounting tricks demonstrates they know they are doing something illegal. They don’t see them as human fetuses they see them as a lump of goo instead of unborn babies.

LOL. first the deal about baby parts? Look the law up, nutsucker based law and they threw extra funds into it.

Second, the horseshit in the blog, dogshit44 is exactly horseshit, all been disproven.

Now, the interesting and only worthy thing here to talk about is how much felchgobble the nutsuckers are swallowing, the Texas AG has cleared them of wrongdoing (not for lack of wanting to make the nutsucker propaganda have the effect of law), but now the nutsuckers down in the house are referring their felchgobble to the Texas AG for prosecution.

Like Benghazi, dont you think, or the Emails, or any number of other political assassination the nutsuckers have done, perhaps by the 8th or 11th or 56th time they will get a conviction, but the reality is, not.

No, dogshit44, all you got is a mouth full of factless felchgobbling, hypocrisy, and propaganda.

Oh, no, communist nutsuckers, a nutsucker slobberblog!!!

Felch it up, gobblers.

Are you deniers ready ?

Center For Medical Progress' First Deceptively Edited Video Claimed To Have Caught Planned Parenthood Selling "The Body Parts Of Aborted Fetuses." A video released July 14 by the Center for Medical Progress claims to show Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) Senior Director of Medical Services Dr. Deborah Nucatola discussing how PPFA "sells the body parts of aborted fetuses." But even the longer version of the video and the transcript released by CMP, which they claim is unedited and accurate, undermines their sensationalist claim, showing at least three crucial edits that reveal that Nucatola was actually discussing reimbursement costs for consensual, legal tissue donations. The CMP-released transcript includes remarks made by Nucatola not included in the shorter edited video explaining that "nobody should be selling tissue, that's just not the goal here." The shorter video cuts nearly eight minutes out in the middle of a conversation about money where Nucatola makes clear that PPFA only accepts payment to cover legal reimbursement costs for what she repeatedly characterized as "tissue donation" in the transcript. [Media Matters, 7/14/15]

Second Video: Edited To Make Planned Parenthood Look Like It Is "Haggling Over Payments"

Center For Medical Progress' Second Highly-Edited Video Attempted To Smear Planned Parenthood By Claiming To Have Caught Official "Haggling Over Payments" For "Baby Parts." In a video released July 21, the Center for Medical Progress claimed PPFA Medical Directors' Council President Mary Gatter is seen "haggling over" prices for fetal tissue donations and offering to change medical procedures "to get more intact body parts." However, even the longer video released by CMP which they claim is unedited shows that Gatter's statements were cherry-picked to give the impression of illegal activity that was not taking place. The deceptively cut shorter video shows Gatter seeming to admit that Planned Parenthood receives payment for fetal tissue donation "in spite of incurring no costs," while the longer version of the video shows Gatter was discussing the process of obtaining consent and sorting donations. In addition, CMP's press release says its edited video shows Gatter "suggest[ing] modifying abortion procedure to get more intact fetuses" while the longer video shows Gatter reiterating that she cannot modify procedure herself and that she would have to consult with a surgeon. [Media Matters, 7/21/15]

Third Video: Ex-StemExpress Employee Claims Planned Parenthood Profits From Fetal Tissue Sales

Center For Medical Progress' Third Video Falsely Alleges That Planned Parenthood Participates In "Black Market In Baby Parts." In a video released July 28 as part of their "Human Capital Project," the Center For Medical Progress claimed that Planned Parenthood is engaging in a "black market in baby parts" and using an "illicit pricing structure" to profit from fetal tissue donations. The video, which features documentary-style interviews with former StemExpress lab technician Holly O'Donnell, again failed to demonstrate illegal activity by Planned Parenthood. The highly-edited video, which is largely about a separate for-profit research tissue supply company, features the lab technician who admits PPFA only receives legal reimbursement for actual costs. The video also includes footage from the previously released videos that was also debunked as highly-edited and taken out of context. [Media Matters, 7/28/15]

Fourth Video: Edited Video Implies Planned Parenthood Is Hiding Criminal Acts

Fourth Video From CMP Deceptively Implies Planned Parenthood Official Is "Negotiating A Fetal Body Parts Deal." A July 30 video released by the Center for Medical Progress claimed that Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains Vice President and Medical Director Dr. Savita Ginde was "negotiating a fetal body parts deal, agreeing multiple times to illicit pricing per body part harvested." Like the other CMP videos, the fourth video was deceptively edited and does not show any evidence of illegal activity on the part of Planned Parenthood. The longer version of the video released by CMP reveals staff at a Colorado Planned Parenthood affiliate simply discussing legal reimbursement fees for donations from women. Both CMP's "actor" and Dr. Ginde state that compensation is based on reimbursement of "processing and time," as allowed under federal law. [Media Matters, 7/30/15]

Fifth Video: Edited To Make Planned Parenthood Official Appear To Agree To Alter Abortion Procedures For Profit

Fifth Undercover Video Smears Planned Parenthood With Deceptive Edits, Makes It Appear That Official Is Agreeing To Illegally Alter Procedure. A video released by CMP on August 4 claims to have caught Planned Parenthood of the Gulf Coast Director of Research Melissa Farrell "advertising the Texas Planned Parenthood branch's track record of fetal tissue sales." However, the transcript released by CMP shows that the organization was discussing reimbursement for costs associated with the consensual procurement of fetal tissue, which federal law allows. Heavy edits in the video make it appear that Farrell is agreeing to alter the procedure purely for tissue procurement, which could put patients at risk and would be illegal. The longer version of the video released by CMP has Farrell explaining that everything done "is there for the safety of the patient" and under "our standard process" and that the clinic would not alter or delay a procedure for the sake of fetal tissue donation, per Planned Parenthood and tissue donation guidelines. [Media Matters, 8/4/15]

Sixth Video: Ex-StemExpress Employee Alleges Fetal Tissue Sometimes Collected Without Consent

Sixth CMP Video Is "Documentary" Alleging That Planned Parenthood "Sold Baby Parts Without Patient Consent." The sixth video, released by CMP on August 12, is the second installment of their documentary-style "Human Capital Project." The video relies on the account of Holly O'Donnell, a third-party technician who never worked for Planned Parenthood. O'Donnell is a former blood and tissue procurement technician for StemExpress, a middleman company that sold fetal tissue donations to researchers. As with the other videos, the sixth video offers no evidence that Planned Parenthood broke any law. O'Donnell also admits that procurement technicians "had a consent form we'd have to initial" with the donor stating, "I know I'm not going to be reimbursed or compensated." [Media Matters, 8/12/15]

Seventh Video: Ex-StemExpress Employee Discusses Tissue Procurement

Seventh CMP Video Features Undercover Footage Of For-Profit Biomedical Procurement Companies. The seventh video released by CMP on August 19 -- the third in their documentary-style "Human Capital Project" -- again features interviews with former StemExpress employee Holly O'Donnell, whom CMP identifies as a former staff member of the for-profit biomedical procurement company. Two of the undercover interviews featured throughout the seventh video were with personnel at for-profit tissue procurement companies Novogenix Laboratories LLC and Advanced BioScience Resources. No one at either company implicates Planned Parenthood in illegal activities. The video also includes snippets of the deceptively edited, hidden camera conversations with Planned Parenthood officials from the first and second videos. [Media Matters, 8/19/15]

Eighth Video: Features StemExpress CEO, Claims To Document "Sale Of Aborted Baby Parts"

Center For Medical Progress' Eighth Video Features StemExpress CEO, No Planned Parenthood Officials. On August 25, the Center for Medical Progress released an eighth undercover video alleging to document "the sale of aborted baby parts" -- this time, documenting a private conversation with for-profit fetal tissue procurement company StemExpress' CEO, Cate Dyer. Unlike previous CMP videos, no Planned Parenthood officials are seen on camera. [The Center for Medical Progress, 8/25/15]

Ninth Video: Planned Parenthood: "The Video Released...Is Not About Planned Parenthood."

Center for Medical Progress' Ninth Video Features Advanced Bioscience Resources Staffer Describing Fetal Tissue Procurement. On September 1, the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released a ninth undercover video, much of which centers on a private conversation with fetal tissue procurement company Advanced BioScience Resources. CMP referred to the private company as a "Planned Parenthood baby parts vendor" that has "harvested and sold fetal body parts" for the health care provider "longer than any other entity." Planned Parenthood, responding to the CMP's video, said "The video released today is not about Planned Parenthood. Staff from two independent health care firms that work with medical providers and research institutions appear to discuss their policies and practices [...] Multiple times in this video, staff from independent health care firms appear to say that Planned Parenthood is not interested in any financial gain and adheres to ethical standards." [The Center for Medical Progress, 9/1/15; Politico, 9/1/15]

10th Video: Four Planned Parenthood Officials Discuss Fetal Tissue Compliance And Stigma

Tenth Video: Features PPFA Officials Discussing How Affiliates Navigate Contracts Involving Fetal Tissue. On September 15, CMP released a video in which it claims to have caught "Planned Parenthood executives discussing the organization's secretive practices around aborted fetal parts harvesting." CMP's press release says that one of the participants secretly caught on camera, Vanessa Cullins, vice president for external affairs for Planned Parenthood, "seems fully aware of the criminal exposure" of the donation of fetal tissue. However, the longer version of the same encounter released by CMP reveals the the context of Cullins' remarks, and proves they weren't about violations of the law, but the stigma surrounding abortion and stem cell research. [RH Realitycheck, 9/15/15]

11th Video: Attempts, And Fails, To Smear Texas Planned Parenthood Doctor

11th Video: CMP Claims Footage Showed Texas Planned Parenthood Doctor Discussing Illegal Abortion Procedures For "Harvesting Intact Fetal Heads" And "Affirm[ing]" A Price. On October 27, CMP released a video it falsely claimed showed a Planned Parenthood clinic doctor discussing how she might conduct illegal abortion procedures for "harvesting intact fetal heads" and affirming a price for the specimens. But experts say the procedures she described are legal, the footage actually reveals that the doctor specifically said she does not do fetal tissue donations at her clinic, and the undercover actors are the only ones who discuss procedure costs. [Media Matters,10/28/15]

12th Video: Baselessly Suggest National Abortion Federation Has A "Group Purchasing Program" To Sell Fetal Tissue For Profit

CMP Releases 12th Video, Claiming National Abortion Federation Officials Worked With Planned Parenthood Through A "Group Purchasing Program" For Illegal Fetal Tissue Donation. In its 12th video, CMP selectively edited footage of National Abortion Federation (NAF) employees to suggest wrongdoing by the organization and its partner, Planned Parenthood. The video features cherry-picked parts of secretly filmed conversations between a CMP actor and two NAF training and education representatives, Sandy Fulkerson and Jennifer Hart, to baselessly allege that NAF was encouraging a "group purchasing program" for the sale of fetal tissue. CMP omitted necessary context from the conversations to suggest that Fulkerson and Hart agreed to "a kickback arrangement to split the money from fetal parts." The full context, however, reveals that neither NAF employee filmed ever expressed interest in an illegal payment plan for fetal tissue. Instead, Fulkerson and Hart were interested in helping clinics donate tissue "for science" or "to be used in research." [Media Matters 2/18/16]

13th Video: Alleges Planned Parenthood Official Agreed To Alter Abortion Procedures To Increase Risk A Fetus Is "Born Alive" To Net A Profit

CMP's 13th Video Alleges Planned Parenthood Officials Agreed To Alter Abortion Procedures To Make A Profit And That Those Alterations Increase Risk A Fetus Is "Born Alive." The night before the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt -- the legal challenge to a highly restrictive Texas abortion law -- CMP released its 13th deceptively edited video. In this latest video, CMP selectively edited footage of Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties medical director Jennefer Russo to make baseless claims that Planned Parenthood manipulates abortion procedures in illegal ways. For example, CMP cherry-picked parts of a conversation with Russo about forgoing the use of digoxin -- a drug commonly used in abortion procedures -- and manipulating fetal positions to "breech" to suggest Planned Parenthood was attempting to yield more "intact specimens" and secure greater compensation. CMP additionally argued that such changes in procedure are similar to so-called "partial birth abortion" procedures and that they increase the chances of a fetus being "born alive." [Media Matters, 3/2/16]

14th Video: Baselssly Attacked Planned Parenthood's Patentient Consent Process And Shows Symbiotic Relationship Between CMP And Anti-Choice Lawmakers

CMP’s 14th Video Baselessly Attacked Planned Parenthood’s Patient Consent Process. The 14th CMP video used decontextualized footage from the Select Panel on Infant Lives’ first hearing to allege that Planned Parenthood’s consent form -- given to women when they are considering donating fetal tissue -- is misleading because it states that donated tissue has contributed to curing various diseases. In this video, CMP selectively framed a portion of testimony from a medical researcher, Dr. Lawrence Goldstein, to suggest he believed the consent form was “inappropriate.” In reality, Goldstein highlighted the “vital role” fetal tissues play in research that is actively searching for cures to a number of diseases. CMP also relied on Rep. Vicky Hartzler’s (R-MO) misleading statement during the hearing that Planned Parenthood exerts “undue influences” to coerce women to donate tissue. This is inaccurate, however, as the consent form explicitly states that provision of services is not dependent on an agreement to donate and that there will be no financial profit from donation. Previous Media Matters research found that during its hearings, the select panel presented "evidence" of wrongdoing pulled directly from CMP's website and previous videos. The 14th video demonstrates that there is a dangerous feedback loop operating between CMP and anti-choice lawmakers on the select panel. [Media Matters, 4/7/16; 4/22/16; 3/7/16]

Additional Videos Recycle Old Footage To Continue Smear Campaign

CMP Released Three Videos -- Titled "PROFIT," "HARVEST," And "Cover-Up" -- Recycling Old Footage To Continue Its Smear Against Planned Parenthood. Between January 5 and 19, CMP released three videos that contain no new footage, instead offering a retrospective of the "undercover footage released in the past half-year," as CMP put it in a press release. These videos represent a continuation of CMP's efforts to attack the women's health organization. Although the videos repackage the illicitly obtained footage, they still do not include any evidence of illegal activity by Planned Parenthood. [The Center for Medical Progress, 1/5/15; 1/12/16; 1/19/16]

Following Indictment By A Houston Grand Jury, CMP Releases Repackaged Attack On Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast Affiliates. On January 25, a Houston grand jury cleared Planned Parenthood and instead indicted Daleiden and one of his CMP associates. On February 2, CMP released a new video titled: "Planned Parenthood Houston Admits Accounting Gimmicks Hide Baby Parts Sales, Invoices Charge $8,000." In the video, CMP recycles illicitly gathered footage to attack Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast and its director of research, Melissa Farrell, in spite of the grand jury's ruling days earlier that there was no evidence of wrongdoing by Planned Parenthood. [The Center for Medical Progress, 2/2/16]

Independent Analysis Finds Evidence Of "Manipulation" In Undercover Videos

Independent Analysis By Forensic Experts Concluded CMP Footage Was "Manipulat[ed]." An independent analysis commissioned by Planned Parenthood and conducted by forensic experts found that the Center for Medical Progress' videos "contain intentionally deceptive edits, missing footage and inaccurately transcribed conversations." The experts found "42 instances in which CMP edited out content from the short as well as so-called full versions of the tapes" and that "at least two of the filmed interviews with Planned Parenthood officials are missing at least 30 minutes of content." [Media Matters, 8/27/15]

it doesn't really matter what you or media matters said there---the congressional committee's made a months' long deliberation of the video(s) and the transcripts and believe there is enough evidence for a criminal referral to a variety of places. in so much as anything you've posted touches on the matter (some of it doesn't), the committee has rejected it. im going to suggest they know better than you, or media matters.

meanwhile:

"Macy's Is Done With Planned Parenthood"

quote:

Several companies have stopped funding Planned Parenthood since an undercover investigation exposed employees gleefully talking about the sale of aborted baby organs. Most notably, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Ford, and Xerox all publicly announced they would no longer send money to the pro-abortion business.

Now another big name company, Macy's, is joining their Planned Parenthood boycott.

Lance Wray, from the group 2ndVote, which calls itself a "conservative watchdog for corporate activism," shared the good news with LifeNews.com via email.

quote:

“You may remember how four companies (AT&T, Coca-Cola, Ford, and Xerox) publicly distanced themselves from Planned Parenthood last year after our research exposed forty-one companies with direct financial ties to the abortion giant,” he elaborated. “Well, we are happy to report that we can take another company off that list—Macy’s, who confirmed with 2ndVote last week that they no longer give nor match donations to Planned Parenthood.”

Planned Parenthood needs to be held accountable for its inhumane treatment of innocent life - hitting their finances is a good start.

ForAmerica President David Bozell called the Macy's announcement a "Christmas miracle."

“It is a Christmas miracle indeed to see one less corporate donor to the abortion mill that is Planned Parenthood. This is a great victory for the pro-life grassroots movement and the millions of innocent babies at risk of being lost to abortion. Congratulations to 2nd Vote, an organization keeping the grassroots informed on causes that corporations support, and pro-life activists across the country who voted with their wallet to ultimately persuade Macy’s to end their donations. Now the time has come for the Federal Government to follow suit. If Macy’s can turn off their funding for Planned Parenthood, so can Uncle Sam.”

it doesn't really matter what you or media matters said there---the congressional committee's made a months' long deliberation of the video(s) and the transcripts and believe there is enough evidence for a criminal referral to a variety of places. in so much as anything you've posted touches on the matter (some of it doesn't), the committee has rejected it. im going to suggest they know better than you, or media matters.

"Obama Admin Just Prohibited States From Defunding Planned Parenthood"

quote:

President Obama's Department of Health and Human Services has just approved a rule that would block states from preventing Title X funding from going toward the abortion giant Planned Parenthood.

Of course, that's not how the agency is wording the announcement on its website. They argue this rule will "increase access to affordable family planning and preventive services." The funding, HHS employees explain, will go toward services like cancer screenings and contraception.

During an MSNBC appearance Wednesday night, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards thanked the "phenomenal" Obama White House for protecting the millions of women who count on her organization for their family planning needs.

Pro-life legislator Rep. Diane Black (R-TN) is not thanking the president. She knows full well that since the rule allows funds to go toward Planned Parenthood, it will essentially be funding abortions.

“With this rule, we see an administration that has become unglued at the knowledge of the impending pro-life sea change in Washington, DC," Black said in a statement on Wednesday. "President Obama knows that hope is rising for the innocent victims of Planned Parenthood’s brutality and the big abortion industry’s days of taxpayer-funded windfalls are numbered. We should not be surprised that his administration would lash out with this eleventh hour power grab on the way out the door, but I am certain this rule will not stand for long.”

Black looks forward to the day when Donald Trump takes office and they can get to work defending the innocent lives of unborn babies.

If anyone wonders why I write that, him and his submissive circlefelch coven follow me around incessantly, biting ankles and saying the stupidest horseshit, why not long ago, on another thread he pointed out that he had quoted over 115 townhall articles that turned out to have no facts in them and never happened, on that one thread alone, aas he does here. And he is still posting ignorant toiletlicking on that thread.

Here you go boy, get that taint, get it good, like you always do. Theres a good little felchgobbler.

not the story most recently above, but another one:

"Investigation Shows Planned Parenthood Only Uses Ultrasounds for Abortions"

quote:

Young women have the right to view their ultrasounds at Planned Parenthood - as long as they're planning on having an abortion. That is what Live Action discovered in its latest investigation of the supposed "women's health" organization. The pro-life group has released a new video entitled "Ultrasounds for Killing, Not Care, at Planned Parenthood," to reveal that ultrasounds are only available for one kind of service.

The Live Action investigators asked 68 Planned Parenthood facilities if they could provide ultrasounds simply to make sure their babies are healthy, but only three said they could help. Here are just a few of the excuses the young women received.

quote:

“No, we don’t do any ultrasounds for prenatal care. We do them when we’re doing abortions, but not for any other reason.” – Council Bluffs, IA, Planned Parenthood

“No. Nope. Not – not something we offer. Well, we do have to do an ultrasound with an abortion, but we don’t offer them for – we can’t do anything to make sure that the pregnancy’s fine.” – St. Louis, MO, Planned Parenthood

“We only do ultrasounds if you are terminating.” – Corning, NY, Planned Parenthood

Live Action President Lila Rose knew exactly why Planned Parenthood, which performs over 300,000 abortions a year, is not a fan of ultrasounds.

“One would think a corporation that constantly touts its care for women, uses ‘parenthood’ in its name, and has ultrasound machines would want to ensure healthy pregnancies by allowing women to access ultrasounds to monitor the development of their babies,” she said. “But showing a woman an ultrasound image would reveal the beating heart as well as moving arms and kicking legs, destroying the ‘clump of cells’ myth Planned Parenthood perpetuates to try to make abortion easier to accept.”

Planned Parenthood has previously been exposed for treating unborn babies as profit and lying about providing prenatal care - again with abortion as their first priority. What more proof does Congress need in the debate over defunding the organization?

Do you have a credible factual citation or is this felchgobbling nutsuckerism from townhall, who has not ever demonstrated the truth and fact of anything?

Yup, felchgobbling.

You cant walk into ANY ultrasound clinic and demand an ultra sound unless you have the money to pay for one......not even if you are pregnant and six months along.

three weeks, but nevertheless:

"Investigation: Planned Parenthood Lies About Offering Prenatal Care"

quote:

When Planned Parenthood executives and defenders (read: financial beneficiaries) decry Congressional efforts to redirect its taxpayer funding to other women health centers, they often insist that the organization provides vital services that have nothing to do with their thriving abortion business or fetal organ harvesting and profiteering. They vastly overstate women's reliance on Planned Parenthood, and wrongly claim that its clinics do things like offer mammograms (false) and other cancer screening services (declining, and widely available elsewhere). Another justification offered by none other than Planned Parenthood chief Cecile Richards, is that her group doesn't just end pregnancies -- a task at which they're quite efficient, and that rakes in a large portion of their annual revenues -- but also gives important prenatal care to expectant mothers who don't walk through the door to end the lives of their unborn children. Watch the short montage of assertions near the beginning of this video from Live Action, then contrast her misleading rhetoric with the on-the-ground reality at her clinics:

“Planned Parenthood offers abortions, so they don’t offer prenatal care.”
– Tempe, AZ, Planned Parenthood

“No, we don’t do prenatal services. I mean, it’s called Planned Parenthood, I know it’s kind of deceiving.”
– Merrillville, IN, Planned Parenthood

“No, see, we don’t see pregnant women as a way of giving prenatal care, we see pregnant women, um, you know, if they are considering other options.”
– Santa Fe, NM, Planned Parenthood

In the vast majority of Planned Parenthood facilities contacted by investigators nationwide (92 of 97 to be precise), prenatal care and services were mythical offerings. You want to abort your baby, come on in. You want to prepare to have your baby, go elsewhere. We told you this series was coming in our post yesterday on abortion and public opinion, and the above clip is merely the first installment. It looks like Live Action will be turning the screws on Planned Parenthood's propaganda just as lawmakers debate whether to pull their federal funding and reallocate it to more reputable providers who actually offer the healthcare they claim to. Before you go, check out the Free Beacon's profile piece on a former Planned Parenthood director who experienced a crisis of conscience and is now actively fighting the abortion machine she once helped operate. A snippet:

quote:

Annette Lancaster exited her Chapel Hill office in April 2016 and gave a nod to the woman who held a regular protest against her employer. She entered the parking lot and found that someone had placed business cards beneath the wiper blades of her Chrysler 300. They advertised a group she had never heard of: And Then There Were None. She quit Planned Parenthood in May. “It would eventually have killed me, it was that emotionally straining,” Lancaster said. And Then There Were None is the brainchild of former Texas Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson. The group has helped 330 abortion clinic workers, including seven doctors, walk away from the industry. The group is designed to provide a support system that was lacking when Johnson famously walked away from her job and became a pro-life activist in 2009...And Then There Were None provides workers with a temporary financial cushion to ease their transition out of the industry. The group provides one month’s pay to any worker who leaves, matching the pay of security guards and doctors alike. Several professional resume writers and consultants also volunteer for Johnson’s group. They coach workers on finding new jobs, and have an internal network of health care professionals who help them get back on their feet.

It's a difficult but worthwhile read, including a passage quoting a former abortion assistant describing how she and her colleagues would drink heavily on "abortion days" to dull the pain of their ghoulish work. The annual March for Life will take place in Washington, DC and cities across the country on Friday. Will the national media fixate on crowd sizes and Metro card scans when tens of thousands of pro-lifers pack the streets? Turnout in the nation's capital is expected to be big, as usual:

"House Votes to Overturn Obama's 'Parting Gift' to Planned Parenthood"

quote:

In a vote of 230-188, the House of Representatives has overturned President Obama's rule that forbid states from defunding Planned Parenthood. Instead, states can redirect those Title X funds to health care clinics.

The pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List welcomed the final tally.

“President Obama’s parting gift to the abortion industry was in keeping with his Administration’s actions over the last eight years," said SBA

List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. "At every turn, then-President Obama thwarted efforts by state and local authorities – who were acting on the will of the people – to prioritize taxpayer funding away from Big Abortion. Obama’s legacy of forcing Americans to finance the abortion industry is being steadily dismantled by our new pro-life President and the pro-life Congress. We look forward to swift passage of this resolution in the Senate so that it can receive President Trump’s signature."

In recent days, we've seen investigations that prove why Planned Parenthood does not deserve taxpayer dollars, such as the report that revealed the organization lied about providing prenatal care.

"Judge To Texas: No, You Can't Defund Planned Parenthood"

quote:

If the Lone Star State wants to mount a concerted effort to successfully defund Planned Parenthood, it won't be easy. A district judge filed an injunction on efforts to cut off Medicaid dollars to the abortion provider. Pressure has been building on Planned Parenthood since 2015 when a series of investigative videos were released alleging the organization profited off of selling aborted baby parts (via AP):

quote:

A federal judge ruled Tuesday that Texas can't cut off Medicaid dollars to Planned Parenthood over secretly recorded videos taken by anti-abortion activists in 2015 that launched Republican efforts across the U.S. to defund the nation's largest abortion provider.

An injunction issued by U.S. District Sam Sparks of Austin comes after he delayed making decision in January and essentially bought Planned Parenthood an extra month in the state's Medicaid program.

Texas is now at least the sixth state where federal courts have kept Planned Parenthood eligible for Medicaid reimbursements for non-abortion services, although a bigger question remains over whether President Donald Trump will federally defund the organization.

Sparks' decision preserves what Planned Parenthood says are cancer screenings, birth control access and other health services for nearly 11,000 low-income women at 30 clinics. Texas originally intended to boot Planned Parenthood in January but Sparks told the state to wait pending his ruling. Arkansas, Alabama, Kansas, Mississippi and Louisiana have also had similar efforts blocked.

The Associated Press added that the judge slammed the evidence presented as more in line with a best-selling novel rather than “a case concerning the interplay of federal and state authority through the Medicaid program.” The Hill added the legal battle began when Gov. Greg Abbott signaled the he would be going after Planned Parenthood’s Medicaid dollars after the videos were released. Attorney General Ken Paxton plans to file an appeal:

quote:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) said his office would appeal Tuesday's ruling, saying "the decision is disappointing and flies in the face of basic human decency," according to Reuters.

The decision continues a long-running legal saga in the state.

State health officials had announced in December that Planned Parenthood would no longer receive funding from Texas’s Medicaid program. Officials gave the group 30 days before the change took effect unless Planned Parenthood filed an appeal.

Planned Parenthood originally filed a lawsuit a year ago to try blocking Texas from stripping its Medicaid funding, but the lawsuit sat idle before the state issued its final legal notice./quote]
