ORIGINAL: DesideriScuri And, I'll state it again, regardless of which candidate it turns out to be, I'm only going to vote "For" the candidate that best aligns with my beliefs. I'm done voting "Against" someone. Thus, I will wait for the full slate of candidates to be set before I spend the time necessary to get to know their beliefs. The field should be set by June, so that gives me 4-5 months to investigate. Should be plenty of time. Do you think any of them align with you now? I know you are a conservative (and this isnt any kind of insult) Is there anyone you would like to see jump in? do you feel you have a candidate that speaks to your beliefs? Im asking you because altho I disagree with you on a great deal, you have credibility with me. Im not asking you to name names either or going to take the piss, im genuinely interested All of them align with me in some way shape or fashion, even Bernie. Rand Paul probably aligns the best out of the current GOP candidates, though. I haven't paid that much attention to them. I've only watched snippets of the first debate to see how Rand, Fiorina, and Kasich did. I haven't spent much time looking for third party candidates yet, either. It's just too early. I'll do my due diligence after the slate has been set. I'm not registered R or D, so I won't participate in their primaries (I won't register for one just to vote in the primaries, either; it's disingenuous as I'm not a R or D), which is another reason I haven't paid much attention to the horse and pony show. I can't see it happening, but if Shrillary aligns best with my beliefs, I'd even vote for her. And, if asked, I promise to honestly divulge my vote and my reasoning behind it after the election. Oh, and thank you for the compliments.
