Feminists expect men to consider women's "lived experience" while it's "what about teh menz" when consideration is expected for men's experience.

If feminists want more men to consider their problems, a good starting point would be to start considering men's problems...which will never happen.

Fuck videos. Tell us what you mean.

T^T

Lucylastic -> RE: Lived Experience (2/5/2016 9:00:48 AM)

SO many men cant even discuss menstruation. so please dont think that even a majority of men understand the "lived experience"

mnottertail -> RE: Lived Experience (2/5/2016 9:10:53 AM)

I don't menstruate, there really isn't a great deal to discuss about it, now that you know.

It's like the lady with the nosebleed said, 'GODDAMIT! If it ain't one thing; its another.'

What? Put off because women are not all subservient to men now? That they have made many strides into different areas of human interaction, experience, and life? Does it bother you that some men now stay at home, cleaning and such while the women is the bread winner?

Do feminists have legitimate problems? In some places, yes. Just as those whose skin color is no the 'correct' one for the area. Or whose language is not the dominant sound in an area. So it becomes ever important to separate the 'legitimate issues' from all the 'bullshit' that gets shoveled around it. Every group of people do have legitimate issues. Every group will tend to have bullshit issues that masquerade as the legitimate issues. It is up to those groups to be honest and truthful in separating the legitimate from the bullshit ahead of time. Since to those outside the group, if the bullshit gets out of hand, the legitimate issues are simply washed away and hidden from discussion or action.

I had a young trooper who thought if a woman had her period she could not get pregnant He had lots of misconceptions.

So many or ALL fucking feminists can't even discuss men's issues. So please don't think that even the majority understand the "lived experience" of a man. Because you chauvinist fucks don't give a shit about my gender and yet expect men to give a shit about yours.

It's a one way street when it comes to feminism. They expect men to help feminism but feminism never wants to help men. You feminists are a bunch of self centered chauvinist hypocrites.

What? Put off male problems because women have problems too?

That's female chauvinism.

mnottertail -> RE: Lived Experience (2/5/2016 2:19:55 PM)

That strawman wont fly any further than a horsefly in a 40 acre horseshit warehouse.

You can talk about your 'mens' issues, and you do, repetatively and nauseatingly, but there you go.

Women can talk about their problems, and there is no noise in the channel.

Lets talk about the elephant in the room. Seat up, or seat down?

DominantWrestler -> RE: Lived Experience (2/5/2016 2:25:05 PM)

That's why they crated gender studies. It's unequal in different ways for females and for males.

Lucylastic -> RE: Lived Experience (2/5/2016 2:34:26 PM)

You know my life?????
Have you met my husband? have you met my two sons? have you met my father, and seen how despicably Ive treated them their entire lives? and I continue to eat babies and shit gold?
I love men, not all men certainly, not vast numbers of them, to be sure.
You keep throwing these idiotic and truly darts around, yet you have nothing to back it up. NOTHING

I dont care about you, true, that I will not deny.

Any time you want to talk about blood clots and vaginal stitches Give me a shout.
If you wanna talk about male prostate surgery and aftercare, give me a shout, If you want to talk to me about phimosis or testicular torsion give me a shout, If you want to talk to me about male assault and rape or homeless men or PTSD in vets, give me a shout, if you want to talk to me about males and alcholism, give me a shout.

I have experience and training in all of them.
Do you?

mnottertail -> RE: Lived Experience (2/5/2016 2:41:01 PM)

Anybody wanna talk about blowjobs, give me a shout.

The toilet seat issue has been resolved. Leave it down, she can wipe it off.

But the bottom line here is that Men don't have issues.

Depends entirely on whether the seat has soft close or not.

It's a one way street when it comes to feminism. They expect men to help feminism but feminism never wants to help men. You feminists are a bunch of self centered chauvinist hypocrites.

Once again you demonstrate that you know little or nothing about what feminism is.

Feminist analysis of gender construction and systems offer both men and women a way of understanding gender and ways of changing the numerous ways in which women and to a lesser extent men are oppressed by the prevailing gender system and roles. The tools are there to be used by anyone but feminists can't use them on men's behalf - that's up to men.

You would be well advised to start brushing up on feminist gender analysis so that you can start to use these tools constructively to help your fellow men rather than wasting your own and everyone's else time with your ill informed incessant whingeing and whining. You have nothing to lose - the worst outcome would be that you actually know what you are talking about when you talk about feminism. Wouldn't that be a pleasant change?
