FR.... didn't read anything ... only the title ...

My "gut" response....

There "could" be real 18-year olds ...

But ....

When "I" get contacted by 18 year olds, they are ALL fake.

Some of what you said rings true. We all would like to see the back of profiles which are deliberately fraudulent. We all get the multiple profiles of 18 year old princesses from different countries states or towns, which all have the same stolen picture. Those profiles certainly seem to be fake.

Just one thought though from looking at your contributions on here. Who is going to police who is a fake and who is not, and what moral or legal judgements are they going to use?

Except that you, my friend, seem to accuse all sorts of people of being fake and throw some pretty wild allegations around. In practice for you it doesn't stop with stolen pictures, does it? Anyone you dislike, or judge to have displayed any form of secrecy or dishonesty, gets the tirade. Private people, new-comers, people you suspect of being married or attached or even just people you disagree with. You also seem, by your own admission, to have fallen foul of the TOS/Moderators on more than one site. I can't imagine why.

If you are one policing what is fake, we had better all bow down at your feet or watch out.

My first BDSM relationship started when I was 20, and I haven't had a purely vanilla relationship since!

Collarspace/Fetlife/most of the rest of the World Wide Web wasn't around back then, and I didn't look in the alt newsgroups for kinky ones. I know several kinky people who are in the 18-21 range. When I was still looking, I wasn't interested in dating or playing with anyone quite that young - mid-twenties was the youngest that I felt comfortable with.

Nah. It's just the information about Bayshore overview and somebody's complaint that they had put on the net over a year ago. (Should have been from the Mod3 era from what I can tell.) Nothing that really has anything to do with the thread at all.

Most of the regulars here I imagine grew up online and forums were where it all started. But today theres so many social networks offering much more features -
I teach 18 year olds and I can't imagine any of them even know what an online forum is.

sincerely if you get contacted by a 18 yo there's a high chance she's fake. I'm sure there are exceptions but as a rule I would double check with care to see if something smells fishy.

that being said... I knew of a girl that at seven years old was already interested in rope bondage and didn't lose that interest when she became a teen or an adult so I fully believe there may be real 18 yo girls here. I wouldn't find it impossible for a 17 years old girl aging herself to 18 to have an early start.

but I would become a bit more suspicious of that profile than if she claimed to be a bit older. how much older is open to debate since the clever fakes are aware that profiles with age 18 are suspicious so they will put 19 or older to avoid that suspicion.

I have noticed an influx of the 18yr olds viewing my profile (and repeatedly). This is a new trend that I started to notice when 2016 rolled in. Prior to that is was very-very infrequent. I haven't gotten any messages from any of them though. So yes I have noticed, and its odd/suspicious.
