ImperialPath -> RE: Senate hit a new level of absurdity...blocking judges (3/11/2016 4:13:50 PM)

...this whole damn thread prior to my posting is absurd to the extreme. Idiots and fools likely not even U.S Citizens in some cases are spouting crap about something they obviously have no clue about. That pretty much tells us why some Dems vote the way they do, especially under 30s, they have no clue even how the Government works but stupidly go on social media and pretend their ignorant views are somehow correct while they play into the hands of politicians against the Party of Lincoln. You know, the President who freed the slaves? That's right, the GOP President Lincoln.

So, idiots. Read about how the Part of Lincoln, the GOP, has always been the party of freedom and then read the history of the Democratic party...surprise! That's right, the party that held blacks back until they decided the only way to get votes was to pretend there was a "war on blacks" and a "war on everything" by the Party of Lincoln.

It's Okay. Now that you have read up on this stuff and are finally educated on the Constitution, the U.S. Government and both major parties history, you can finally make informed choices.

mnottertail -> RE: Senate hit a new level of absurdity...blocking judges (3/11/2016 4:50:14 PM)

So, since Lincoln freed the slaves (he didnt but the united states did by amendment to our constitution), has the GOP done anything else about freedom? That old chestnut is getting a little long in the tooth. And that wasnt a straight walk down the aisle. One can easily point out the many times since then they have worked towards putting them back on the block.

I can without let or hindrance inform you that I know the constitution, the history of America, the history of the US government, the history of the parties, and many other ancillary issues far better than most here and without question far better than you.

yeah---they oppose the rights/freedom-trampling collectivist agenda that started in the early 1900s and that continues today. good enough for you?

given the question I quoted you as saying above, sorry, that assertion is laughable on its face.

It is "United States", with caps. Now, a history lesson for you on how the slaves were freed: Emancipation Proclamation.

The Emancipation Proclamation was a presidential proclamation and executive order issued by President Abraham Lincoln on January 1, 1863. In a single stroke, it changed the federal legal status of more than 3 million enslaved persons in the designated areas of the South from "slave" to "free".

God, the idiots on this thread...they need to shut the fuck up and go play XBOX or something with their stupid thumbs up their asses from where they normally keep their ideas.

ImperialPath -> RE: Senate hit a new level of absurdity...blocking judges (3/11/2016 5:34:31 PM)

...oh what is on CNN tonight? There they are, organized Hillary lovers infiltrating and not peaceably protesting but disrupting the Chicago Trump rally and getting their asses kicked on the way out. Did anyone watch? See their surprised look on their faces? Good. Americans are tired of that kind of shit, nobody fucks with America anymore and political rallies are American and not to be fucked with. What? Did you see that fool try and take over the stage and get nailed? It was funny. Bet he tries that just once unless he is a bigger fool than he looked. Talk about low handed politics. What, war on women not working anymore? Damn right it doesn't, that shit is old. Women are too smart for that crap anymore. Especially the young ones. They say, fuck you Hillary and the pants suite you rode in on.

Yes, the individual income tax, the FCC, taking away Native American lands, squandering our blood and treasure on corporations and the military-industrial complex, many many freedoms.

It is laughable only to those who are untutored on just those things I enumerated. Q.E.D.

Enumerating shit is laughable. I know that. Put a thumb in your mouth and one back up your ass and enumerate that, then switch. That's how we feel about it in the United States.

mnottertail -> RE: Senate hit a new level of absurdity...blocking judges (3/11/2016 5:49:50 PM)

It is as I write it.

No, no history there, only contraband slaves were 'freed', that is all, as a prize of war, in the Emancipation Proclamation.

http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/featured_documents/emancipation_proclamation/transcript.html

Actually, it freed no slaves, it was a military policy in areas the federal government did not control.
Much like the executive order to close Gitmo.
And it was the second one issued, because if they ceased rebellion, the slaves would not have been 'freed'.

Thanks for playing, you lose, take off your pants, and we have some wonderful parting gifts for you on your way out.

That is why we have a thirteenth amendment to our constitution, it is not superfluous.

No, it is nutsucker against nutsucker there as they felch each other and implode. And of course, its 'suit'.

Phydeaux -> RE: Senate hit a new level of absurdity...blocking judges (3/11/2016 5:59:19 PM)

Republicans supported the civil rights movements as a greater % than the democrats did.

mnottertail -> RE: Senate hit a new level of absurdity...blocking judges (3/11/2016 6:09:42 PM)

LBJ was a southern democrat, powerful. He was owed a lot of favors by those guys. the 64 rights act was supported by a higher percentage of republicans than democrats, then they changed sides, I have read with alarm the sheer groundswell of republicans fighting for black rights, calling for legislation to get them opportunities to keep from getting killed and insure they are voting in such wide ranging places as Ferguson, Palmdale, Hayward, Yonkers, Minneapolis, Miami and so on. And those jobs bills, and those equal pay bills, yes, their much ignored inaction for freedom and opportunity for is staggering.

They supported the bill, absolutely did not support the movement.

Long about there in the mid 60s is where the republicans and conservatives started losing the way.

Figure me closer to Teddy and McKinley than guys like that.

Cinnamon girl?

I DO love that song.

I wanna live
with a cinnamon girl
I could be happy
the rest of my life
With a cinnamon girl.

A dreamer of pictures
I run in the night
You see us together,
chasing the moonlight,
My cinnamon girl.

Ten silver saxes,
a bass with a bow
The drummer relaxes
and waits between shows
For his cinnamon girl.

A dreamer of pictures
I run in the night
You see us together,
chasing the moonlight,
My cinnamon girl.

Pa sent me money now
I'm gonna make it somehow
I need another chance
You see your baby loves to dance
Yeah...yeah...yeah.

No. it is a group led by paid protestor organizers and is an act of desperation. Try not to look so very foolish. It's embarrassing.

Talking more nonsense will not help. Americans learned this in grade school. But you do try hard. Time to switch thumbs.
