I'm sure it was not Trump.

LOL hah nice try, nice fail, no, the guy who threw the punch, NOT trump. John McGraw??

Yeah, I hate flip flopping by leaders. Don't you?

I've seen Donald change his mind. I do like it when leaders are not rigid in their positions when they realize they were wrong. I bet you do also.

So, it really is not Trump who did this. Good. So, what should be done with this John McGraw and who is he to you?

That isnt the biggest problem I have with him, but a lot of people do...for me....the lying, blatantly by all politicians pisses me off I dont hold it against one side or another. But Trump, is not fit to be anything more than he is.
If he was that good, the GOP wouldnt be having aneurysms every time he opens that mouth.
Its been nothing but nasty bullshit since the beginning.

KenDckey -> RE: Trump's speeches criminal? Very possibly! (3/16/2016 11:45:48 AM)

What I notice in the quotes are "I think" Since when does those two words incite to anything? Some of you will agree with some of what I think, Some disagree, and then theee will be a mixture of both. Does that mean that what I think is an incitement of anything? No, What it does is state what is on my mind. I don't agree with the violence regardless of whom started it. Doesn't mean that trumps thought started it. I think we should look closer at whom threw the first punch (thre the bottle, or whatever). I know that I haven't seen any evidence that trump did.

FR....I read this morning that carson endorsed trump because he promised him a position later on..
any thoughts?

Yes. Carson;s backing signals the start of the GOP lining up behind Trump. Carson would make a great vice president. Trump makes deals to get things done.

Ive also heard rumblings that its illegal?

You believe one or both are about to be arrested?

just there is a statute in the law that begs a question
I never said anything about being arrested....

So, you think we should ignore rumblings that beg a question?

Lucylastic -> RE: Trump's speeches criminal? Very possibly! (3/16/2016 12:09:03 PM)

no I was asking what you think about the possibly illegal part.

You know, I think the GOP leadership is indeed having problems with the thought of Trump being their candidate. Contrary to you, I think that is good and the surge in GOP voter participation as well as Dem crossover participation for Trump may imply I am not by myself in that thinking.

"nasty bullshit"? I suppose that means the majority block of the GOP likes nasty bullshit in your opinion. I suppose there is no way to reply to that except to ask for an example, or is this a gut judgement call which I believe is a good way to make such things if it works for you.

Not knowing the federal law in question and not being well versed in law in general I'll have to ask for a pass on this.

Maybe not so much a pass... I will say Trump's actions needs to be legal. No passes for him.

Im a liberal, I can come up with a zillion well ok that might be over exaggerating, but too many to list as to why I find most of the GOP platform to be ugly.
You keep making this about "the majority block of the GOP" when I have clearly said over and over again, I believe this is 3 times in this thread alone, that it is the loons at his base, Not all his supporters, the base... in fact, not even the base, but the loons in his base, please read and inwardly digest.

Im not against the "rebellion against the establishment" on either side.

I like liberals. I like them best when bound under my whip.

What is a "base" in contrast to "supporters"?

yeah sorry sweetstuff, you stand more chance of whipping hillary.

How do you know I haven't?

Actually, I find most submissive women also happen to be liberals and that happens to make whipping them even sweeter. I tell them I'm conservative after I bind them. Every strip I lay on a tree hugger gives me so much satisfaction with that little bit of icing on the cake.

FR.

Let's be truthful here. Most of you know this but some may not, obviously do not and that's okay, it rarely comes up.

Speech is not criminal. Actions are criminal. For example, saying you will kill your husband is not criminal and if it were a lot of you ladies would be in prison. There are not different laws for Trump while he is making speeches.

Here is something illegal. Since Trump's rallies are not public but private activities held on private rented property then if you enter that property to interfere with the activity for which the property was rented then your action is illegal and that is the same when you are asked to leave but do not do so immediately. Your right to free speech does not apply on private property during a private activity. I do guess that is a surprise to many.

It makes no difference anyhow, trump wont be elected dogcatcher.

You might think thats fun and dandy, I dont
where else has this happened in this election cycle?? people loved it here when bernie was pulled away from the mic during an early rally...
Trump has flip flopped/evolved/learned/changed on his positions since day one, oh and lied about them, even in the face of video proof.

I don't remember cheering for protestations against anyone.

Seems to me, the only protestors against Bernie were part of the Black Lives Matter group or some other leftist group.

As a matter of fact, haven't the protestors and disruptors at these events all been from the left? Unless someone can show me an article I missed about protestors from the right showing up to disrupt or even shut down a Hillary or Bernie rally?
