Everything posted to the forums, your profile, or any part of the site is up to the discretion of being allowed to be posted by the site, itself. There is no "right" to do any dang thing if any agent of Bayshore Software, Inc. (meaning Mods, Admins, etc) chooses to remove it. What you're really looking for is this in section 8.5:

Basically, if they decide that a post about Easter Bunnies violates their policies, they are completely under their rights to remove posts about Easter Bunnies. You have no "right" to sway their decision, and in fact, you have no "right" to challenge their decision, because you agreed to their terms when you signed up. The word you're really looking for is "permissible".
Case in point, a few years back, under a different Administration, it was decided that a few words were no longer allowed on any post. Two of those were "fucktard" and "feminazi". Any posts with those words could be deleted at Moderator discretion. They don't have to tell you that or spell it out for you. All they have to do is decide that yes, they consider something offensive. That's it.

Unlike you guys, I DID read it. It's a boilerplate legal document designed to cover the site owner's ass. It includes injunctions against harassment, stalking, child pornography and so on. It explicitly disclaims responsibility for the publishing of 3rd party material (basically what we all write in here).
In fact, the ToS clearly states that "We do not act as a censor of such material. " - from memory, actively censoring material - which is what appears to be happening here - would possibly damage their indemnified standing as censoring and otherwise editing material turns you into a publisher, rather than a service provider. But I digress....
Nothing within the terms of service is relevant here. Nothing. Next time, before referring to it, go read it.
I know you're kidding. By this time, you should be aware of the fact that I'm more familiar with ToS, forum guidelines, and so on than most.
