Ohhhhhhh...me too!  I'm a cook as well, and an avid gardner.  I always have lavender and things like pineapple sage to pick and crush gently between fingers when walking in the garden; or several of the many different kinds of thyme between pavers, which are crushed when walked upon and waft up, gently perfuming the air.  Yummmmmmmmmmmmm

Thnaks for the tips, heather, I will try some of those things. I know there may be times in the upcoming future I will want to shower more often, too, maybe after a scene or an evening of acitivity, and this is going to help.

Bearlee, yes, a bath is also a good idea! Instead of the shower as you can soak.
Justheather, LOL! You have a way with words!
Of COURSE girls don't have germs!
Susan, I love perfumes on a woman! Ciara is nice and I can smell Shalimar on a woman from across the street! VERY nice!

popeye: I am going to have to bone up on men's cologne - have no clue what's out there anymore, as far as that goes. I think my brother-in-laws wear Drakkar (I can't remember now).

I have oil scent containers in almost every room, though I don't probably need them, except maybe inthe bathroom. I love lavendar, and roses, and vanilla, and also peach and light citrusy scents. And pine and that Christmas tree scent, during the holidays. I remember scents - I know other people do this, too ( I can recall my grandma's perfume, even though she's been dead for many years - if I smelled it on someone, it would immediately remind me of her).

I love the smell of potpourri, and chili cooking, and bread baking. The only scent I can't stomach, really, I guess, as far as cooking, is liver cooking.
Think I am getting off-track, but - I love many scents!

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy???  OMG, I love OldSpice.  My father wore it, I think of it as a most manly smell!

Course...considering Popeye and the ships on the bottles and all... LOL

What about Taboo?  That's one my mother wore, anybody remember it?  My grandma wore something with lavendar in it...to this day I think of her when I smell lavendar...

I agree with Susan...smells are hugely associated with memories.

lolol... I think that is why.  My dad wore old spice  - I love the smell for that association so I just know I wouldnt slide into a intimate relationship with someone who wore it... Susan is sooo right - certain smells and odors hav e a huge impact on our memories.

Personally, I am a Hugo Boss lover - any CC as well... totaly yummy...  Oh a smidge of JPG makes me swoon.  But there really is NOTHING like good old manscent... gimme sweat anyday - oh for the musky scent....

I remember Taboo. My grandma used Shalimar, the scent popeye mentioned (she wasn't the sterotypical grandma - she was dating two men at the age of 80 and looked like she was still in her sixties, then). She was very active, socially, until she died. I love Chantilly, too, although my husband hated it. He thought it smelled like soap - it's really inexpensive and you can buy it at Walgreen's, but I like it.

Yes, I wear "Old Spice" on occaision.
I read somewhere that your sense of smell is the most "ancient" sense whatever that means.
Smells can certainly evoke old memories as well, everytime I smell gingerbread cooking it reminds me of the lunchroom in elementary school for some reason.
And if you're familiar with ships there is a certain very distinctive smell when you go aboard a Naval ship!

I have to clarify here. SOMETIMES he does forget to brush his teeth. I dont really understand how, but he does...

You don't understand how? Fer chrissakes between the iron oxide scale and acetylene he huffs all day and all your freakin' antibacterial protocols to keep track of it's a wonder the poor guy doesn't tie his boots together.

...however, in his defense he does open the pickle jar for me like a pro.

I just love your little metaphors.

Hey this is bigger than me and bigger than you. When Yin came along do you think there was any chance Yang wouldn't follow?

The name "IndigoDadesi" just can't occupy spacetime in any given universe without "ChartreuseLalucy" orbiting on through before the end of the second act.

I had no idea about the toothpaste thing. Ive had enough trouble as it is convincing the "good bacteria" to stay put.

Didn't you see the thread last week about: "Any Domme who can't control bacteria can't control shit"?

LA, would you be a dear and get her the link?

Does this mean that he also never gets his filthysmelly welding rod anywhere near your pristine pickle jar?

Hold on. I'm gonna be offline for a minute while I call the Vatican to nominate this poor bastard--"squirt-that-nasty-pus-into-this-biohazard-tupperware-for-me-like-a-nice-boy"--welder for sainthood.

Ah Caitlyn. You're young but more green than cabbage-looking as a Brendan Behan character likes to say.

Some day, God willing, you'll meet a weal Dominant Sadist. He'll be the one systematically ruining your sex drive just to leverage the pleasure he takes in boinking the bag-of-chips out of you.

It was marketed under the name of Tabu if I'm not alzhiemerin'...

In my earlier post I didn't refer to the fact of other mammal's keen olfactory senses... in addition to their extensive sight and sound bandwidths beyond us smart mammals. Maybe a desire to lick and toungue a partner's anus is characteristic of the mammal courtesy thing I touched on earlier, and perhaps also a dental damn analingus approach is characteristic of what makes dogs such good drug detection tools via their olfactory characteristics?

Lot's of mysteries here it seems, and we seem to have most of the other mammals figured out... just can't figure ourselves out yet?

I see the situation as basically self remedying  actually. If person X likes person Y to perform analingus, rim job, a hummer.... and then all of a sudden the frequency of the activity becomes father and farther a mental connection should be made to hygienic behaviors such as simply washing your hiney!

How about a new 'lingus slogan or maybe a bumper sticker:    Skid Marks = No Love
Maybe we should all get new flashlight batteries and help each other out more with this clean ass thing, after all, it is hard to see your own!

If I was your man, I think one of us would be heading for the door. You have serious issues.

Something of an alternative take. I used to have a girlfriend when I was much much younger who always insisted on having a shower before and after sex. One day I was feeling horny and she insisted on having a shower.....
.....I went for a beer, it was more enjoyable.

I love Obsession, and Green Tea, and Opium, and Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds, and also White Shoulders, and would be open to trying and using new scents also.

I love:

Sleepy girl smell

Happy girl smell

Sad girl smell

Excited girl smell

Scared girl smell

Clean girl smell

but more especially

Dirty girl smell

I love

Girl neck smell

Girl underarm smell

Girl behind the knees smell

Girl feet smell

Girl earlobes smell

Girl otherlobes smell

and though I'm not much for choosing favorites I'm particularly fond of

Girl in between her breasts smell

These aren't the only ones I like. There are several more from the same manufacturer.

I just can't pass up this opportunity as I think this is a really tasty situation.

I have a friend of mine that loves to service my entire body with his tongue and mouth. Here is how he wants me to get in bed with him during our late afternoon play sessions. Jerry wants me to shower very well with a body brush, twice. Then he wants me to workout extremely hard and really work up a sweat. As a general rule I don't end my workout until I have sweated out my shorts, jock of course, socks and shirt. Now here's what Jerry requests; he does not want me to shower or even rinse off when I done. So, I cool off slowly a watch the news on the T.V. in the mens lounge then dress and head to his place. He absoulutely loves the taste of Manlyhood and he says doesn't worry about bacteria because it hasn't been on  his body long enough to be a problem. Claims the best part of his oral service is the balls and crotch and then the feet. Thought some of you might find it interesting.  Erik

Noah: You know what they say: Women don't actually dress for men, they dress up for other women (it's some sort of competition thing). Well, same goes for perfume and cologne, I guess.

Actually, I don't think I buy that reasoning, I just sometimes like to wear it.
It is reassuring and nice to know, though, that some men just like and appreciate real girl smell. Well, ditto for me - I like natural man smell, too.

Reading this post has been a riot. I just had to come back to see what was happening. Too funny.

Nasty Daddy: I think it is Tabu. And, are you, perchance my real, biological father's long-lost brother or cousin? Because ya'll sound suspiciously like eachother. I am not joking, I think you might be related. LOL!!
