Sadiq Khan has received death threats, been declared an apostate, and has been threatened with a fatwah by the wingnut elements of London's moslem community, as he is far too secular for some tastes. Since he first became an MP, he's spent most of his career putting a few noses out of joint by proioritising his political agenda as being a labour man first and a moslem second.
Of course, I actually knew that the man existed before a load of hysterical American wusses started screeching that the sky is falling because a jihadist had become London's Mayor, so obviously anything I have to say about the matter carries less weight than some ranting imbecile who gets all their information from Alex Jones and white power sites.

Well, how many times have I pointed out that the Jihadists and their fundamentalists don't like Khan because they don't think he's a proper moslem in this very thread? Doesn't seem to be registering with the people who think if a (supposedly) left-leaning party elects a moslem, then obviously it's because they want him to impose sharia lore and start cutting white girls' clits off, does it?
(Worth remembering the next time somebody in this thread starts whining about confirmation bias should a "liberal" say something they think is wrong, though.)
