ThatDizzyChick -> RE: Who is it gonna be? (5/10/2016 2:53:48 PM)

Yeah, that's about right.

Lucylastic -> RE: Who is it gonna be? (5/10/2016 10:13:24 PM)

Nope.

ThatDizzyChick -> RE: Who is it gonna be? (5/10/2016 10:42:05 PM)

LOL
I love how you confirm what he said. :)

Lucylastic -> RE: Who is it gonna be? (5/10/2016 11:03:02 PM)

I was just posting in the negative, almost exactly the same as you posted. in message http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=4908143
you obviously think "no" is all you need....

"nope."
seems to be a perfectly reasonable response.
The fact that I responded at all means I have decided nothing.
Or would you like to tell me how long I have to respond to any given message before you decide what I think about anything is no longer valid?
Puhleeze.
now if you really want to put me in my place, go right ahead, both of you.

Ive got more important things to get upset about.

ThatDizzyChick -> RE: Who is it gonna be? (5/10/2016 11:26:25 PM)

LOL
Yes dear, whatever you say.

What you're missing, Lucy, is that I wasn't being critical of you at all. I was explaining why your post wasn't being taken the way you intended. You posted negatively about the GOP, which was was rebuffed (not by me), and you clarified yourself. I merely explained to you why it was rebuffed. Then you got yourself all worked up.

Feel free to put yourself in any place, except mine. [8D]

In a thread that has been taking the piss out of the VEEP Trump might choose..including your own mention of alex jones, trump being his own vp in case of assassination, and narcisstic palin and folks, so please dont expect me to cry for the tone of the thread
just my post made you upset.
what I actually said was...
quote:

we have a couple in this forum on the right who would fit perfectly.

I didnt name names, I didnt even allude to anyone. a couple...is not all or specific.
TDC said lefties too, I agreed.
Now if both of you would like everyone to post all disclaimers and exactly who and what they dont mean in a given thread, go right ahead.

Believe me, while I like you, its nothing sexual, I said put me in MY Place, nothing about relocation anywhere close to you, so stop eh?
its obviously an idea offensive to both.

I suspect Trump is a secret admirer of Caligula the Roman Emperor. Their personalities are so similar. When asked to nominate someone for the vacant Consul position (a position of great power prestige and influence in those days) Caligula famously nominated his favourite horse Incitatus.

Following Caligula's model, Trump will nominate his lab Spinee for VP, therely guaranteeing his own survival from assassination in the unlikely event of The Mop ever winning the Presidency.

Wouldn't an admiration of Caligula require a knowledge of history, though?

Who will Trump pick as his Veep?

I say go all-in, pick Anne Coulter and finish the destruction of a once great institution.
No, he'll pick a professional politician. He needs the credibility.

My money's on Rubio. He's a clean-cut counterpart to Trump's brash, borish ways and he'll play well with Hispanic voters and women.

WhoreMods -> RE: Who is it gonna be? (5/11/2016 8:09:39 AM)

A plausible idea in theory, but...

Rubio's a follower, not a leader. If someone was to persuade him that it's in the best interests of the party and/or country, then I think there's a good chance he'd do it. ("Marco, we'd rather have you there to temper his excesses than somebody who just doesn't care as much").

Not saying it's a lock, but I don't think he's out of the running.

Greta75 -> RE: Who is it gonna be? (5/11/2016 8:13:58 AM)

Rubio already publicly declared that he will NEVER accept VP from Trump.

Actually, I believe Trump's dilemma now is finding someone to be his VP!

Who is willing to take the heat that comes with that position? Could tank his career IF Trump loses.

He does.
[:D]
I think you're underestimating just how many noses Butthair's nomination campaign has put out of joint, and as the Republican Illuminati now (probably) have a nominee they don't particularly want and poster boys with a lot more clout and respect in the party than Rubio have already declared that no way in Hell are they supporting the mop, Rubio's unlikely to be harmed by refusing to join a ticket with Butthair.

Also could tank his career if Trump wins.

And when has a public declaration ever prevented a politician from doing the opposite of what they declared?
For example....

This is recent announcement by Rubio though.

Well yes, but these are Republicans, and they have a taste for bearing grudges: witness how they're giving Clinton shit for stuff her husband did twenty odd years ago.

Remember that over the last few decades, it has been typical for a candidate to pick someone that is even more unacceptable than they are as "life insurance".
Gonna be a long search.
Palin?

Alex Jones. Bam!

Oh God. I will move to China if its Alex Jones.

Liberals always say, never do. Richly deserving of being ignored.
