The most likely scenario would be that they go away and then return later after having armed themselves. Then you would have a shoot out (if you manage to produce your weapons in time) or possibly a massacre (if you fail to produce your weapons in time, or their guns are more powerful than yours). No thanks. The image of a bunch of would be terrorists shooting it out with a bunch of would be Dirty Harrys in the middle of a European city doesn't exactly inspire, does it?

Matters such as this (which seems to be an extortion attempt under the aegis of religion if the OP is to be believed) are far better left to the authorities who are trained and equipped to deal with them.

If this been going on for 5 years. And they claim the police are afraid of them. The whole "arrest and jail them" should have happened a long time ago but not enforced, somehow...., could be due to because it's a religious mission.
