These final clubs are not located on Harvard property and they receive no funding of any sort from the University, having been officially dissociated from Harvard in 1984. There are at present 13 of them—six accept only male members; five, only female members. Two formerly all-male clubs, Fox and Spee, are now co-ed after buckling under relentless pressure from Harvard. Some 30 percent of Harvard undergraduates are members of these organizations. It seems clear that there is substantial private demand for these clubs, and, for a period of many years, little or no demand for co-ed social clubs that served these same purposes.

I stand corrected, thanks.

Termyn8or -> RE: Feminists Want Harvard’s All-Male Clubs Punished—But Not All-Women’s Clubs (5/19/2016 7:53:47 PM)

More clubs will become by invitation only. And only the people we want get invited.

They think they can force us to associate. Remember school busing in Cleveland ? Everyone White family that could afford to moved out. Got any idea what that did to their tax base ?

And same way with the clubs. buy a bar, sell the liquor license and take the sign down. Now you go out in the community and meet people and give them a one time free pass inside. Warn them that this is a private place and there will be people smoking there and if they do not like it they do not need to attend.

Places have pretty much done it, though not to the extent I would. Around here we got AMPOL halls which are for people of Polish descent. The Irish have their clubs. There is one for cops and their families called the Merrymen's Club. I happened into there one night not knowing it was a club and because it was renewal day for the membership cards I got one. Was a pretty cool place. They brought their kids there. I got recognized as unrecognized and was appraised that just about everyone in here is a cop or ex cop. So don't make any trouble.

The beer was cheap, that was nice. Plus the ran after hours. Cops work all shifts and the state charges big money for a license to sell beer until 1:00 AM. They charge more to sell booze. They charge more to sell until 2:30 AM. They charge even more for a club, but they get nothing if it is totally private. They priced and regulated themselves out of some revenue there. Some clubs now are starting to open when the legal bars are required to close, I knew a guy who had one. Cops would not set foot in there unless they were off duty. He knew half of them. But when their shift ends at 1:00 AM and they want to have a few beers and hang around with people other than their Wives who are probably sleeping and shouldn't be waken because she has to get the kids ready for school tomorrow, what do you expect them to do ?

But anyway, what is unfortunately going to happen with all this regulation on not allowing this type or that type, or gender or race or whatever into your own private business is going to accomplish is more separation of society. That is good for the government because we are not exercising the right of free assembly, which the founders thought important enough to put into the Bill Of Rights.

People do not know their neighbors anymore, and the closer to get the farther you are. If you live a mile away from your nearest neighbor you are more likely to know him, even be friends with him than if to lived in two adjacent apartments in the same building, or townhouses for that matter even.

In the old days, the need for Men to work precluded alot of social activism on their part. Now we got alot less full time jobs. Therefore something has to keep people apart so they do not alter or abolish the government. They want it to stay the same and they know that without peoples' solidarity, they can keep the status quo.

The lack of front porches on new houses and DUI laws have worked to that end. So have a few other things. In most places you are not allowed to feed the homeless, and you need a permit to gather a crowd. I say the right to freedom of speech has been infringed, and alot more than yelling fire in a crowded theater.

I find it surprising, or at least I did at one time, to find out how other governments are so responsive to their people. A bunch of Chinese demonstrated against a public project and China acquiesced. CHINA ! I guess the days of Tianemen Square are over.

But I bet the days of Kent State are not. The "national guard" shot a bunch of people and killed four of them. I have my doubts about the US military.

But anyway, there has been talk of the draft for Women. Maybe that'll shut the feminazis up. Because they do not want equal rights. They want special rights. We all know that. Any group, the Congressional Black Caucus, be White and try to get in there. So then, try to start the Congressional White Caucus.

They could have a group like Women politicians, but try to start a group of Men politicians and see what happens.

It is over White Men. Now our reign is through. Now the world will be ruled by others. Liberals, or perhaps folks like Mugabe. You know what he did for Zimbabwe. The main difference between me and alot of people is I got no kids. Once I croak you can burn the fucking place down. Go right ahead and have your children spit on your graves. Because they will.

OK. But if I am not mistaken, Harvard does not get public money. If that is the case they can segregate people any way they damnwell please. Or at least they could before. Now with the Gay marriage cake issue maybe that is not so for sure.

We need to stop doing anything that makes the "establishment" money. Starve them.

Because I'm not a "real man" like yourself who likes to do the dishes while crossdressed as a maid and lick his lips thinking about his boyfriend's cock.
So basically, you hate gay people.

C'mon, let it all out.

Nope, I just have a dislike for closet cases like yourself who are too scared to be true to their desires.

Harvard will take money from wherever it can get it.

Christ Peon, you are such a fucking girl. [:D]

What can I say, A? When I'm naked and look down, I see a penis, so I'm persuaded I'm male. When was the last time you could do that? [;)]
And yet, despite all that, you still behave like a girl.

Christ, and you wonder why submissive men are regarded with contempt.

Not as much as dangerously obese men, Awareness. You must know that, eh?

I certainly don't find women's studies as "education". It's no better than a religion where it's all based on faith instead of fact. Like the paygap myth that has been debunked and owned. Patriarchy theory is another one. How the flying fuck can anyone know if things would be any different or better under matriarchy or neither? So you see how its based on faith instead of fact.

Oh come on, RM. What was it, a couple of weeks ago, that you exhorted us all to listen to the sage words of some teenage fuckwit girl on YouTube called Evalion - or similar - about how bad feminists were? A sixteen-year-old fruitcake who'd also done a YT video on how Hitler was actually a great man, the holocaust never happened, and the Jews were really as nasty as Adolf had said they were?

Why are you even talking about 'education'? You don't know what it is. All you know about, and all you ever pump here - and that remorselessly - is your looney ultra right wing propaganda. You absolutely, resolutely and totally won't even accept the most basic and widely-agreed fundamentals of the debate, such as the definition of feminism. There's no mileage whatsoever in talking to you.

respectmen -> RE: Feminists Want Harvard’s All-Male Clubs Punished—But Not All-Women’s Clubs (5/20/2016 5:30:17 PM)

Peon, you can keep calling "faith" "education" all you want. I'm glad I'm not a total loon like you. I go by rationality and fact. Feminists don't seem to know what that is.

Your dictionary meaning of feminism totally contradicts how feminists act, you fucking moron.

If feminists were really about equality, which they fucking aren't, they would apply "equal empathy" to all genders. But as feminists only care about women's problems and not men's, they totally fucking fail at equality. Equality is treating the genders the same, not different.

Jesus fucking christ you feminists are stupid.

PeonForHer -> RE: Feminists Want Harvard’s All-Male Clubs Punished—But Not All-Women’s Clubs (5/20/2016 5:33:39 PM)

You're a cretin, RM.

At this juncture I can't think of anything else that's worth saying.

At what age did you leave school, having had the momentous epiphany that all you were being taught was lefty indoctrination? Seven, eight?

If you want equality, start treating the genders the same, you fucked up moron.
