Well we have been in the lifestyle for some time but found our way here. While looking through profiles we cam across one that has stolen pics of a close friend. We contacted her to see and she is in the lifestyle but not on here. She and us have tried reporting this fake profile but no response from collarspace at all. the link for stolen photos will not let you upload a pic it says upload failed every time. So this means the ADMINS do not take us or this site seriously. We have tried multiple times and no response at all. That is all. We did not know where to turn so posted here.

Administration of this site will only respond to the actual person who has had their photos stolen. Tell her to make an account and send an email using the support link at the bottom of the page. This is a free website and all staff are volunteers (and they're understaffed) so it may take some patience. If all else fails, send a Cease and Desist letter

The girl does not want to make a profile on here but she has tried to send the stolen photo pic to them as proof as well. It does the same thing for her and says upload failed. This sites needs some real admins to do the job!

Many of the upload functions on this site got broken when they migrated it over a year ago. The site owner had (still has) some personal issues that do not allow him to attend the site as much as is needed. It is a free site and he dedicated a great deal of time to provide it for us. So we understand there are some bugs here and there that will not get the attention a paid site would receive. It is not my place to share the troubles or the severity of the problems the owner is having. But if you knew of his hardship, you would be astonished that he manged to continue providing this site for us at all. Any of the features listed that do not work are leftovers from before his personal issue arose. This site has been in service since Oct 2002 and worked flawlessly for many, many years. Your presumption that the owner or the small volunteer staff does not take this site seriously is incorrect. The fact this site is still up after 14 years and never wavered from his original intent to provide a free dating service and community forum is testament to how serious his commitment is. The facts are no matter free or not someone has a stolen profile and there is no way to have it removed. That is illegal and BS. This entire site needs a makeover.

It could also be that YOU are the one who is pulling the fast one here in trying to obtain a false information on a given owner of said photo , perhaps you met the real person and as a way of getting back at them for some unknown reason you are purposely trying to get their photo/photos removed as a means of getting back at them, if this PERSON or Said OWNER of the photo is in question as to the legitimacy of it and its placement, do you really think either the ADMIN of this forum or its MEMBERS are just going to jump on your side of the base just because you throw a tiff over it, i seriously doubt it, that is when the ACTUAL OWNER will be given the option of putting up or shutting up its that simple, if she doesn't post proof or not want to show proof then she is either incompetent or is severely lacking emotional stability to do so on her own behalf, she does not need as mentioned above a 3rd party element making issues worse for her as you are doing all websites free or otherwise have a TOS which means there is a set guideline they must follow and you as a user must follow as well. You are clearly out of your TOS as of now, if the owner is mad about her photo used inappropriately then IT IS HER RESPONSIBILITY not yours to clear things up.

I can tell you from experience that YOU reporting the photo is not good enough. It has to be from HER. If she doesn't want to deal with the site, you can't do it for her. Go to the "Help" page. Read what is there about DMCA reports. You must be the person in the photo or the photographer. Those are the only two ways that I'm aware of for a person to have claim to copyrights for a personal photo.

To let you all know the person is my Wife's sister and she is not a swinger so she does not want to have her name associated with any swing style site. So NO We are not the ones trying to get information. we want a profile removed! We want to understand why she can not upload a stolen pic photo as the site sucks as there is zero updates. The form to upload any proof she wants always says fail to upload. We are swingers and we are on several sites abut not into this one. This site will be reported to the proper authorities for allowing this to go on. This is a cyber crime! For those that are not up on the laws!

The link is broken and it will not let her upload any pic to prove who she is no mattr how small she resizes it.

So, she could read the TOS, find the lawyer named and fax them a complaint, explaining that she has tried contacting support but has received no remedy. Or you can repeatedly insult random members because obviously, that is working really well for all concerned.

I'm sorry, but the policy for how to handle this has been told to you, repeatedly. If you fail to follow policy, the only one you can blame is yourself. She "doesn't want to be associated with this lifestyle", that's fine. Make the bloody profile, report it, and as soon as the matter is resolved, DELETE THE PROFILE. You don't have to put your own name in anything that the public sees.

You posted in the forums about something that even the forums admins don't have control of, seeking help. You have shot down every suggestion and have been rude to the people that have tried to help you. You even called LP an idiot. As for the rest - the owner has dealt with far scarrier things than you. You asked for helped, received suggestions - and just bitched and were rude to people that tried to help. So...I would suggest that since you hate this site...go somewhere else that makes you happy.
