ORIGINAL: WhoreMods You enjoyed the 50th special then? It was John Hurt who struck me in more of that one. I want to see a lot more Doctor Grumpy, frankly. Creative: as far as your and Lucy's talk about Star Trek and Who goes, I'm told (admittedly, before my time so they can tell me anything), I think the first broadcasts of Star Trek over here went down a lot better than they did in the 'States. It's been suggested that having to suddenly compete with that was a factor in the Beeb raising their game a lot for Troughton's last and Pertwee's first seasons. PFH: Blue Peter watcher, eh? I dunno about that, I know I just watched both avidly. But too young then to have known the reasons behind the beeb. My godmother was a matron at stanmore orthopedic, and we got to meet Jon and a dalek at a hospital do...I wasnt very old, and never got pics, but i know my sister peed herself when the dalek moved. Mr Pertwee forever had my adoration, lol. By the way his son Sean is a hell of an actor. Yes I did, I loved the 50th... always like John Hurt, but I like Chris Ecclstone too, shrugs. Blue Peter fan too, gawd I feel old. did you ever watch HOW? now im feeling nostalgic, dammit. Butch!!! Yes a big red dwarf fan, and blackadder. you know the new RD X1/X11 comes out soon?
