I thought the goolies grew outside of the body because sperm had to be kept cool for some reason. Dim memory from school biology ....

Status: offline 		At the risk of agreeing with anyone here, let me state that I've been a "trekker" since I was old enough to walk. I even remember watching an episode on its initial showing....."The Way To Eden" Friday night 10:30. Good memories!

My favorite TOS episode is "Doomsday Machine." William Windom is brilliant as Commodore Decker. I'd give anything to play that part someday.

My favorite NexGen episode is "The Nth Degree." Watching Lt. Barkley argue quantum physics with Albert Einstein is priceless.

Just my two cents......

Yeah, we planned it all out or maybe this deity thing is a woman and needs an easy target, though as an owner of rescue cats and dogs, I have to say the snip is a lot cheaper and easier for the boys....

Well, OK, goolies on the outside of the body is quite a silly idea - but not as silly as boobs outside the body. And especially so high up, too. Fancy having naughty bits just below your neck? It's bizarre! Women have much sillier bodies than men, Lady C, I feel. You women should arrange your bodies more sensibly.

Maybe God was just taking the piss. That would be believable.

I don't remember if it was the 2nd or 3rd season, but NBC scheduled Star Trek at 10:30 Friday nights. It wasn't very well liked until syndicated.

The May 2016 issue of Smithsonian has a fascinating oral history of Star Trek. For the third season, NBC moved the show to 10 p.m. on Friday night. Roddenberry quit as producer, and the network brought in Fred Freiberger to replace him.

I am a bit puzzled. I have never looked at RM profile but have read that some people mentioned that his Australian living in Australia.

Australia is one of the most pro-white countries in the world.

There is no white guilt in that country. Not even over their aboriginals.

So it's really strange an Australian would have so much issues!

I also want to say, I think white Australian women are incredible and tough. I see them even work in construction, like operating fork lifts, cranes or even like handle those heavy power drills to drill tarmac roads. They really try to do everything a man can do and don't give excuses about being the weaker sex. I doubt you get that much double standards from them. I had an Aussie female boss, and she used to scold me, why can't I do alot of stuffs myself, but I totally have the whole, what's a man's job and female job thing. It's still very widely segregated like that in Asia. So I always delegate man's job to a man. Or anyway, play damsel in distress, and men will come and help me being gentlemen. Men will come and help. Used to pissed off my Australian Female Boss alot. She would scold me that women today should learn to be more independent, what am I gonna do if there isn't a man around to fix things? Lol, I told her, then I will just employ a man to fix things anyway. And pay him! I guess the problem is I am the only girl with two brothers and when you got brothers, they also fix things for you whenever you ask.

Funny, I seem to remember it being on something like 7 PM on Wednesdays. But that could just be due to programming by the local station. The networks were not always on, back then there was locally generated programming.

It may have been because we had some quite popular movie hosts known as Big Chuck and Hoolihan, the latter was also the weatherman on the news show. Eventually Hoolihan left, found god and went to Florida and Little John, their sidekick and participant in many of their little skits replaced him and the show went on. In fact someone told me it is still going on today, but I don't watch TV now.

I remember the rule was us kids were not allowed to talk except during the commercials, and there weran't as many of them back then. But the olman was, and actually made some jokes about the show that had me literally ROFL. I was already on the floor actually, we had a floor model TV and I basked in the Xrays on the triangular shaped pillow. But because oi the prick I missed some important parts of the plot. I was easily amused back then. Now I find it hard to find a good joke I haven't already heard.

Anyway, I do seem to remember 7 PM. Maybe is was Friday, I cannot be sure because it was so long ago. Maybe we got the episodes a week late, how would we know ? But Big Chuck and his cohorts were on Friday nights and they brought in the local ratings, so I think they made a deal.

While I'm not at all sure I agree with your prose (in fact....I don't....at all).....I....as have most white men, gotten used to the fact that, if we have an opinion (even in favor of minorities...of any stripe)....we'll be accused of some immoral horrible societal crime.

And like most white males, I....as they (if they're smart)....go about our business....vote for the best person, regardless of race and.....regardless of (never ending) accusations of racism....get up everyday and go make money.

Doing our job.

Regardless of all the detritus surrounding us....and thrown at us.

(Let the flames begin.....I'm certain I just said something horribly racist....or incredibly insensitive).

And....with the exception of Asians (who work harder than ANYONE....as a group)....is it any wonder....knowing the above...why we make more money?

(Not to me).

That's not what I heard. I heard that they originally cancelled the show but then were barraged with letters complaining so they brought it back.

But that does not necessarily make you wrong, maybe it was after people were not seeing any new episodes they wrote, I don't know I was like 6, 7 years old at the time.

And back then, not popular meant not popular with the Nielson families. That was the only data they had. Now it is built into some cable boxes, even with a camera to see if anyone is actually watching or if they just left the TV on ad all left. Some people do that to discourage burglars.
