You're used to the normal pretend religious oilmen. If nothing else, Trump is different. In other words, it has gotten to the point where I think, and apparently alot of others think that we are better off with the devil we do not know than the one we do know. But one thing is bound to happen which is good. These fucking political parties are going to bend to the will of the People. If it is Sanders/Trump, whichever side wins has to realize that their candidates did not win, in fact people they did not like won, their plans might not go as planned. And the side that loses, especially if it is Clinton, that party has to reconsider its position at least a little bit. These parties I think are going to at least have to recognize the power of the People, at least a little bit. And we all know they have too much fucking power and have influenced elections and did bad things in doing so. If you wanted a businessman for President the guy was Ross Perot, but he got made an offer he couldn't refuse. His numbers were like Trump's, very threatening to the PTB. If he hadn't dropped out he would probably be dead now. But he is in his 80s and worth like $4 billion so really, oh well. And the thing is, I think he would be better than Trump as a President. Though he did have a fialure here and there he actually did something. Something technical, not just dealing and developing real estate which almost anyone can do if they have the capital and use it wisely. Ross Perot was in the computer business, got a contract to computerize medicare records and then IIRC went on to develop the ECMs for the early computer controlled car engines. Now that is more useful than a golf course. Once the transistion to the wholly electronic system happened and they went to direct crank driven oil pumps you could now start your car in zero degrees (F) and drive right away. In the old days you had to let it warm up and wait until the idle would kick down. Remember that ? Actually I could custom set a choke to the engine so you almost drive immediately with a carbuerated car, but that was because I thought I might have to get the fuck out of somewhere fast. I hung with a pretty wild crowd. Anyway, when I set up a carb the instructions were different. It was not lean best idle it was best idle, ad I need the car overnight to properly set the choke, and I disabled the electric choke heater. But you could drive almost right away. Even now you should wait about a minute, but back then the oil pumps only ran half the speed of the crank so getting the pressure up took longer. Well, for the same displacement oil pump it would be twice as long. Hell, really old cars had a splash oil system, no pump at all. but then the clearances and low power and RPMs did not make these things necessary. But if you want 400 HP you gotta do a few things. Where were we ? Yeah, the old days. Trump is at least old enough to remember them, and like me probably mature enough to have given up bigotry, at least for the most part. Even if he is a bigot he cannot pass laws that pertain to only certain races, except you know who. Just like Sanders cannot raise your taxes. A bill has to go through both houses of congress and he has to them sign it. If it is a tax increase there is a record of every scumba..., err congresscritter who voted to put it on his desk and the voters will be told. If they remember is a different story. People do forget really fast. T^T
