The theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking angered supporters of Donald J. Trump on Monday by responding to a question about the billionaire with a baffling array of long words.

Speaking to a television interviewer in London, Hawking called Trump “a demagogue who seems to appeal to the lowest common denominator,” a statement that many Trump supporters believed was intentionally designed to confuse them.

Moments after Hawking made the remark, Google reported a sharp increase in searches for the terms “demagogue,” “denominator,” and “Stephen Hawking.”

“For a so-called genius, this was an epic fail,” Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, said. “If Professor Hawking wants to do some damage, maybe he should try talking in English next time.”

Later in the day, Hawking attempted to clarify his remark about the presumptive Republican Presidential nominee, telling a reporter, “Trump bad man. Real bad man.”

How many ? I can say this, there are alot of fucking stoooopid people in this country, but not knowing what the word "denominator" means would be a liberal trait. That they do not know how to divide $20 trillion into 300 million.

Are you telling me the nutcase republicans are forgetting simple math now ? What, are we all forgetting everything ? No wonder there are so many product recalls and defective designs. No wonder we have no industry, nobody even knows how to use a ruler, let alone a caliper or micrometer. I learned how to read a micrometer when I was about seven years old. And I go to school and find out the other kids cannot even read a ruler. And it has gotten worse since then.

And these assholes do not even have the common sense to STFU and not reveal their lack of education ?

I admire Trump and would vote him in a heart beat if I was an American citizen.

He's the only hope America has when it comes to not letting political correctness get in the way of judgement in politics. He has bigger balls than any politician out there today.

Why am I not surprised to see you select a far Right, racist, borderline fascist party? This sad bunch of boofheads manage to create violence where ever they go in Australia. Their supporters (at least those interviewed on TV) struggle to put two words together. For one of their supporters to complete a simple sentence in standard English is a major accomplishment.
