ORIGINAL: Greta75 Ok, so conclusion is, they are just men being men, and this is not normal. I mean, under personal time at nude beaches and things like that. I wouldn't raise an eyebrow about it. But if travelling together for business reasons as a team. Staying in the same hotel and stuffs. And then hanging out together at the pool. And the women take off their tops to sun bathe. I personally find that unprofessional, but the gist of it is, I was just trying to find out if this is just my Asian thoughts, OR like do Europeans generally feel there is nothing wrong with this. If it's a cultural difference in thoughts, then I accept that, it is normal in their culture. But if it is not, then it's just men being men, being more than happy about the view. Most of us over here mix business with pleasure and relaxation. But importantly, we see them as completely separate things and not one as part of the other. You can quite happily be part of a business team and also enjoy relaxation together and if that involves people going topless or nude, so be it. As LC said, we don't attach nudity to sexuality like you seem to be doing. In areas where this is allowed, we think no more of it than going for a drink or a meal. It's not a case of 'nothing wrong with it' at all; it's all in context of where you are and the people involved. And I would say that the average European is probably more liberal in their outlook than Asians or Muslims. It's all to do with the society that you're brought up in.
