No, I keep pointing out that his equating a hotel and a country are farcical. If he wants to carry on with this metaphor, perhaps he could explain how only putting up a fence along one of the four sides of the hotel is adequete to protect it. That might lend some weight to his ill chosen comparison.

I told this story once in another thread, and I'll repeat it here. A few months ago my elementary age child came home and asked me to vote for Trump in the election. I asked him why he wanted me to do that. He said it was because he has never seen a president get assassinated. Moral of the story-even a 10 year old understands that this particular election cycle has been more violent and contentious than any in recent history, and that the big conventions and the candidates there probably require more security than normal. So to have a bunch of adults scoffing at the idea and comparing it to Trump's wall is more than a bit disingenuous.
