I loathe her fiction, but I've been warming to the woman herself since the referendum on Scottish independence the other year. This is another example of her showing a level of class (for want of a better word) most of her peers couldn't dream of.

I doubt that the people who were killed or wounded, or who are mourning, really care if it was high-powered, low-powered or a bloody chain-gun. I also doubt that the trigger-man cared too much. It did what he intended, regardless.

Some political views are like farts Bama..................unpleasant for a while but whether you take notice of them or not, they blow away very quickly if you just ignore them. As for politicians ? 99% of them give the rest a bad name.

Look at it another way then: you know the truth and you know who and what you are. If somebody tells the truth about you or something you have done wrong, there is nothing you can do about it except accept it, shrug your shoulders and get on with life. If somebody tells a lie about you, there is not much you can do about that either really, especially if that person is anonymous and means little or nothing to you. Others will know the truth, so you just shrug your shoulders and get on with life.

Bama, I learned a long time ago that there are a couple of ways you can beat fools, total idiots and out and out liars. One way is to kill them. About that time, I found out that was frowned upon by most people. Another way is to respond once telling they are wrong and then just respond with " Well, you could be right" and let THEM do all the stressing and chewing over and arguing with themselves. That also works with head-the-ball Christians, ex-wives and mothers-in-law. you can have them frothing at the mouth after a while and still keep your own cool. Don't sweat the small stuff.

I ignore idiots as much as possible but when you have someone not only lie about you but claim you conferimed it up to and including your being a convicted criminal it gets old after a couple of years. Besides, there is a difference between letting them get to you and exposing them for the lying SOBs they are.

Hell, I was a convicted criminal way bac when. I am also a chef ( cook ?) and a damn good one too. And with all the bits missing off me and extra metal put in, I am on a couple of pensions. So far I see no problems with any of that. I paid big taxes over the years, so I reckon I might have earned those pensions. I HAVE killed and I have had people try and kill me. That was a long time ago. I like a drink but not to excess ( so if you come to visit, bring a couple of quarts of Myers Rum smile) and I have never taken or smoked any kind of illegal drugs. What's left for any idiot to lie about ? I have been there, done that and got the scars and t-shirt as souvenirs and I really don't give a rat's ass for anyone like you are speaking of!!! smile. They really don't signify. Notice, I named no names and I wrote nobody up for pack drill smile.

Yes, I remember that conversation we had, and now that I know more about you I know that you know that the conotation he was going for had nothing to do with a chef like you have become. It was that I wasn't bright enough to get the kinds of jobs I did in the military. His claims about my being a convict, and he wasn't even bright enough to know the difference between being a con and an ex con were to create an impression that I couldn't have gotten the clearances I had to have to do the jobs I had in the service. And his insistance that I sleep with my mother and sister were completly beyond the pale. He is a blight on the site. Further if he were just attacking me I would put him on hide and forget it but he attacks people who can't fight back and teaches those with an inclination to be jerks they can do so with impunity. I don't fight this crap just for myself, I do it for the whole site. Do not get me wrong I have a great deal of respect for you and what you say, but it just isn't in my nature to stand aside and let a bully run roughshod over those who aren't as strong as you are.

I am an ex-con and I was cleared for Top Secret and above LOLOL and yes, I made no secret of my criminal history or where I had been or what I had done. I got the job because I was/am a lateral thinker and didn't wait for official approval in some shit situations that happened. as far as empty-heads like your nemesis go, I believe you used to have a saying in your country's military ............."Fuck 'em all, but save six for pallbearers". On the internet you can be anybody you care to be and live anywhere you say you are and say almost anything and get away with it.....................sound like anybody you know mon ami ?
