I am just not so sure the founders knew what they were doing when all they had at the time were flintlocks.

Did they ever imagine a rifle that could fire 30 rounds in less than a minute just by 30 pulls and be reloaded in a few seconds ? (like the AR-15) I don't think so.

The Belton rifle was offered to the Continetal Congress but they couldn't afford it. The Belton was demonstrated to fire 20 rounds in 5 seconds and it used cartriges, most likely paper cartriges. By the time of the Bill of Rights the Austrian Army had a 30 shot air rifle, Lewis and Clark also had one. Then there was the Ferguson 10 shot rifle, it's inventor and proponent was, fortunately for us, killed at Kings Mountain. So yes, they did know about weapons with far more firepower than the single shot musket or muzzle loading rifle (while you may not know it they weren't the same thing). They also allowed people to own thier own cannons.

I personally think that high schools should teach gun safety courses.

I agree. Also, that they should be armed.

I mean, not the teachers or other staff, or the kids - the high schools themselves. I see no reason why high schools shouldn't be afforded the rights of the 2nd just because they're inanimate objects. After all, inanimate objects have feelings, too.

Not among the sane.

If you dont know that air is a gas, that might be another reason you were RIFfed from the quasi-military service called the Air Force.

And if you don't know that a gas operated autmatic rifle and an air rifle aren't the same thing you are a smart as Thompsonx.

Of course you would, because you're a shit shot. I mean come on you couldn't shoot somebody in a specific toe from 100 yrds while they were running like some on this forum.

Since you cant even spell it, we know you dont know but both were fired by gasses
Now I dont know enough of that particular rifle to say if that one was automatic or not, but both were fired by gasses.

And you are as fucking stupid as they come, not possessing the brains of a fucking ice cube, welfare patient.

Automatic has nothing to do with whether or not air is a gas, dumbass, but toiletlicking more lies and more factlessness than you always do after you got schooled might be another reason your were RIFfed, welfare patient.

Adds considerably to the time urgency element to keep virgin ears.

How long does it take you to put on ear protection?

Oh boy, the age-long sure-fire way to know if a woman really likes you, or is rather just in the mood to be done with you soon after the event and be gone;

"How long does it take you to put on protection?"

Termyn8or -> RE: Why are anti-regulation folk such poor shots? (6/21/2016 1:59:22 AM)

Back to the OP, my eyesight is to the point I should not drive, but I can still kill someone from across the street, I am sure.

I do not understand how cops needed 41 rounds for a guy with a knife. What the fuck is wrong with them ? And no matter what that is, how are they allowed to be cops and have a license to kill ?

And soldiers in a war, the government almost cornered the market on certain types of ammo a couple years ago. Why ? Can't anyone aim ? I can hit a bird in flight with a fucking BB gun, god damn. What is wrong with these people ? The way they shoot I wouldn't trust them with a pair of scissors.

But if you think I can't shoot, stop on by and I'll show you. My eye problems have to do with bright and dark and pollution of the humor. I have one eye with good accuity, and actually can drive. And you can put up a target and I bet I can hit it. Accuity, to my understanding means being able to focus. That is not my problem and glasses cannot fix it. But I have always hit everything I have shot at. The neighbors saw me shoot that pigeon in flight and well, never fucked with me. That was a nice BB gun with a .177 ball and pumped with 12 pumps which gave it almost the power of a .22. We used to shoot in my kitchen at the calendar over the stove. Now it need new seals n shit and if you want to shoot it you have to pour oil into it and you only get a few shots before it won't hold any pressure anymore.

But anyway, a real gun is much better. The ammo should last forever. Just keep some oil on/in the thing. I got one made in 1911. It is a bad design but I can handle it.

T^T

A 12 guage with buckshot will do the trick everytime. A .45 is also a great weapon.

So are flame-throwers and rocket-launchers ...

mrevibo -> RE: Why are anti-regulation folk such poor shots? (6/21/2016 5:20:15 AM)

Actually, you can still own a cannon, they're entirely unregulated. Flame throwers and rocket launchers aren't for inside.

I have indeed fired a 1911 inside without my ears on. I didn't have to change my panties. It was in the garage, where a raccoon had taken up residence. Unfortunately, I was loaded with FMJs from the range, so I wasn't doing the damage I could have. One shot flushed her, second from about 6m left her right leg hanging, then she charged me. Third was a headshot in motion; I missed the thinky bits but left her unable to bite me. Fourth finally did her in. This episode illustrates a few of the limitations I mentioned earlier, low light, moving target, shots that don't kill, variable range. To this I can add, know wtf your bullets are good for. What I carry now are Critical Duties, those FMJs are for paper.

what a moronic douchebag you must be.incite a new breed of idiots. like you.

mrevibo -> RE: Why are anti-regulation folk such poor shots? (6/21/2016 8:13:32 AM)

Well, I may be a douchebag, but I take issue with the moronic part, wait... ok, I may be a moron, but I am definitely not a... oh, something like that. I have done some breeding in my time, but I'm not sure I can evaluate the oldest yet for whether he's quite enough of an idiot to be a moron. That was it! I'm an idiotic douchebag, not a moronic one. We must be precise in our terminology. And our punctuation.
