The thing that I've wondered, and never had answered, is what do they do with all the "extra" men in Mormon polygamy? In most cultures, polygamy is (at least partly) a functional thing. Men go off to war and are killed, and so the gender ratio is off. I know in a few west African cultures men would marry their brother's wives if the brother died. It was (again, at least in part) a "taking care of family" type of thing. But this higher death rate isn't seen among Mormon fundamendalist men. So where do they go? I'm being a little tongue-in-cheek, but mostly serious.
