In the 7 years I was a member there, I know of six instances where members were arrested and convicted for firearm theft on the club's property." Where the fuck do you live, Zimbabwe, or maybe Chicago ? Geez, that is pretty bad. "Being mathematically possible is an astronomical leap from "VERY probable". " Disagree. I know improbable and impossible are two different things but almost impossible DOES mean improbable. And I said almost. "Really? The tales you have told about life in Termyland and of "the olman" paint quite a different picture." Never shot anyone though. I think that makes a difference. Have seen shootings, all kinds of shit but we used to hang around West 25th street in Cleveland a long time ago. Let me give you some advice, if someone comes in and shoots someone at the bar, just drink your drink. If they start shooting up the place then take your gun, tur around lsowly and aim and blow their fucking head off. Everyone in the bars here who got shot had it coming. They either beat up the wrong person or ripped off the wrong person. You have any idea of the ramifications of killing someone, especially with a gun ? It is damn fucking hard to get away with. I know a guy who started a life sentence at 18 years old over that shit. And he didn't actually want to kill the guy but he did. He was afraid of the guy ad it had something to do with a girl. But I know the gun he had, I have one like it and it is a shitty design. But he took it there to that guy's house and the bullet out of it killed the guy, there is no getting out of it. First degree murder. Funny, his Grandfather was also convicted of murder but only did 11 years, they gave the kid life. But Grampa killed the motherfucker in a bar, that may have been the difference. The kid went to the guy's house. But my family never shot anyone. We WILL, but only for good reason. Whether you believe it or not, you WANT us as neighbors because we do not put up with that crime shit. Neighborhood watch on steroids. Yes, I have been i a few illegal enterprises. Never got caught and neve shot anyone. The olman had a chop shop. Later we dealt hot electrical materials. Later we bought up every firearm we could find. But we did not hurt people. There is a big fucking difference here. I also sold drugs here and there, but stopped because the profit was not worth the risk. WE did all kinds of shit. The olman bought machinery to make silencers but never got to it. Had a stroke. We never cared what the law said but we had morals. No desire to hurt or steal from anyone, at least after a certain time. Gave it up. these days you can trust me with a couple of hundred thousand dollars. Mainly, like the song says, if I didn't earn it I don't want it. I am done with that shit, I got a skill now and other than knowing it is wrong, I just don't want it. And it is not like I found religion, I am a stone atheist. I just think the world works better when people treat each other right and do not fuck them over. there is a large contingent of people in this country who actually believe that morality is impossible without religion. Well first of all they are wrong. What's more there are more fakes, people who will fuck you over left and right and go to church on Sunday. And as soon as they walk out the door they got their mind on their money and their money on their mind. (Gin And Juice, The Gourds or Snoop Dog, whichever you prefer) Yes, I have alot of history to deal with and some measure of guilt, but these days you got nothing to worry about. And thsat is not just because of my health. I can barely walk. But these decisions to be good came when I was healthy. I used to be able to stand up straight fro sitting on a floor with legs crossed. I used to be able to lift the back end of most small cars. The decision to be good came back then. I will not steal, well honestly, if it is over $300,000 and I am sure to get away with it then I might. But I do not know where to go. Whatever cinnections I have are here. Maybe that is part of what "being part of the community" means. But have no worries about my guns, I am unlikely to ever use them. But I still go by the axiom that it is better to have it and not need it. T^T I have to tell you I love these stories you tell. Your a very likeable atheist. These stories remind me of My uncle receiving the name Bubba. Big gorilla of a man, looked really scArey, and he could be if prompted. The funny thing is he was at his core a gentle giant and would give the shirt off his back if he liked you or if he saw an injustice done ...wow... Look out. Anyway he was going through a divorce, his kids were driving him nuts, and my grandma was dying and my grandpa had just died. He went to a bar and overloaded on whiskey. Very close to last call, some guy who he found a real ass, said he was going to play a song on the jukebox, my uncle said Like hell you are but the dude played it anyway. I never know what song the guy played, but jon shot the jukebox that night. Yep he went to jail for a brief time. I'd guess you would make an excellent neighbor, as long as my cat didn't crap in your roses while you were drinking whiskey. Lol. Anyway this ones for you Termy http://youtu.be/7VKdwx5AB5k And they wrote a country song about it called Bubba shot the juke box. "Reckless hell I hit right where I was aiming"
