My guns have all promised not to do anything wrong, I guess that the guns gun grabbers don't know how to train thier guns.

One must question the mental stability of anyone who not only has conversations with his guns but also claims to have trained them?

It is a damn shame you aren't smart enough to know sarcasm when you see it.

The question is how do we know the good guys from the bad guys? A guy walks into the restaraunt with a gun. Hmmmm, why? Must be a bad guy, I would start shooting, in the situations I was in with a gun, if another guy you didnt know had one, you shot the bastard, he was a bad guy.

I didn't say walks in with a gun, I said starts shooting the place up, big difference..

What colour skin does he have? Is it black?

Does he greet people by saying "As-Salaam-Alaikum"?

If either of these is "yes", you can riddle him with as many bullets as you like, apparently.

And my fuckin world dont revolve around you, you aint important, I make my own observations all the time. I just made one. I dont care what you said, I said what I said, and deflecting doesn't resolve it, trust me, the world aint about you.

So again, so, a guy walks into a restaruant with a gun, a recruiters office, a school, a bar, a courthouse, a beach, a mall, a republican national convention, walks down the street, good guy or bad guy, do I blow him away?

Hell, lets say he walks down the street with a hoodie.

Anything else is stupid, prudence says, blow him away, hes a bad guy cuz he aint me, cuz I am the good guy cuz Im me.

Cinnamongirl67 -> RE: Show Me One NRA Member Who Committed Murder (6/24/2016 8:25:09 AM)

Guy walks into a restaurant with a gun secured at this belt to have lunch. You can assume he is a good guy, I trust he is a good guy until he removes it without provocation. Then I begin to think, this could be a bad guy...

mnottertail -> RE: Show Me One NRA Member Who Committed Murder (6/24/2016 10:10:00 AM)

Yet people are runnin around in restaraunts with guns expecting that they will meet bad guys, and that doesn't mean they are one, and then that means they are probably a bad guy cuz they have a gun, and will under some set of circumstances only they know pull it out and shoot. thats a bad guy. shoot him.

Not as often as a firearm but they have been used to devastating effect, and to kill more people than even this latest traggety. This specifically includes a home made bomb in one instance and gasoline in another. I'm not going to mention other methods that as of yet haven't been used. I don't want to spread any ideas to some lunatic who might otherwise decide not to use a firearm to kill as many people as he possibility can.

Congratulations on the flimsiest excuse I've seen in here yet.

I have no idea what excuse you're referring to. What exactly do you mean ?

More guns in good guys hands less murders by bad guys. Simple logic

No, simple thinking. No actual logic.

Do you think the Lanza family got their stockpile of weapons in order to shoot up a school? Was James Holmes a bad guy when he was studying for his Ph.D?

Good guys go bad all the time. People snap. Mental illness can strike anyone - no exceptions.

You make it sound like we're all going to snap like it's just a matter of time. Maybe you don't trust yourself. I'm certainly an exception. Down here on earth, all but a fraction of a percent are exceptions.

It is the people who believe they will always have perfect mental health who are the ones whom are most at risk.

The people who have complete confidence they are right. The people who feel angry and don't consider that they might be the one who is in the wrong or over-reacting. The people who feel so righteous and have unshakable faith in their own emotional state.

So are you some kind of expert in psychology ? Well over 99. 9% of those who own these semi automatics will never crack up and commit mass murder with their weapons. At least it hasn't been happening so far. I'm not sure how you're coming up with this prediction.

What I really find disturbing about you guys who would disarm everyone is there are simpler and more devastating ways to commit mass murder.

See? You're quite capable of delusions.

What delusions ?? OK, if I overstated it then allow me to correct myself. "What I really find disturbing about you guys who would disarm everyone" of their modern firearms....... I didn't overstate the second part.

I was just pointing out that I gave a reasonable set of conditions not your insane trigger happy gun owner view of the world.

Actually, it dates all the way back to the Albigensian Crusade against the Cathars in France.

"Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius." was a phrase allegedly spoken by Papal legate and Cistercian abbot Arnaud Amalric prior to the Massacre at Béziers, a massacre in the French town of Béziers that formed the first major military action of the Albigensian Crusade. A direct translation of the Latin phrase would be "Kill them. For the Lord knows those that are His own." Less formal English translations have given rise to variants such as "Kill them all; let God sort them out." Other sources give the quotation as "Neca eos omnes. Deus suos agnoscet." ~Source

I don't think I'll bother Bama. I've seen the sort of people here who think/believe they will got to the christians' heaven and if that's what it's going to be full of, I don't want to go there.
