I quoted what some of my friends got told and told me when I visited them last week. This kind of talks is happening these days.

Your "we just want to be left alone" ... means some of your neighbours are made to leave. Maybe not your next door neighbours since I gather you live up somewhere north the Humber while these live in the midlands.

More points necessary? All those harmless little phrases going round and round these last weeks mean quite some harm for some who did nothing to be blamed for.

Oh bollocks. Whether they have to leave depends entirely on the decisions made by Great Britain in regard to migrants already living within its borders. Stop this fucking fear-mongering. It is absolutely baseless.

You have absolute no clue - none at all. Not the slightest.

Volltrottel

The good news is, the falling £ is going to make housing more affordable. The bad news is, its going to be more affordable to people who hold a buoyant currency, which means British housing will become a world investment whilst the Brits will have to suffer the negative equity.
Foreign ownership laws should end that particular debacle. The idea that foreign speculators drive up housing while people in your own country go homeless should be anathema to any half-decent society.

The EU as an economic construction has accelerated the transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich. Britain's exit from this disastrous regime is one of the smartest things they could have done.

Absofuckinglutely!

FR~

It looks like Theresa May is having a good shake-up of the cabinet.
Good for her!!

We probably won't know every new post for a few days yet until it all pans out; but it's looking interesting.
Even Bojo has got a good post in the new cabinet!
She has certainly hit the floor running and getting on with stuff right off the bat.

Lat's see how it all develops in the coming week(s).

Not-alf …. Her first act as PM was to move responsibility for climate change to a new Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. The Andrea Leadsom who recently asked officials “Is climate change real? – was appointed as the new Environment Secretary.

And whilst Osborne has been sent to the back of the class, can Hammond better understand that the state is not a household. Can he grasp what Osborne never could? Worryingly, his credentials say he can’t.

Looks to me like its the same meat, same gravy. The only good thing I've heard so far is, May’s ideas on ‘people’s quantitative easing’. Before becoming PM she suggested that government-backed project bonds could be used to boost infrastructure.

Lets hope that’s her plan.

Marini -> RE: Brexit Vote Results (7/16/2016 9:36:41 AM)

Does anyone look at/or read this brexit news site?. Brexit News
They seem to be rather credible.
I need reliable sources for my UK news.

freedomdwarf1 -> RE: Brexit Vote Results (7/16/2016 9:50:49 AM)

I just looked at your link because I hadn't seen it before.
I wouldn't call it a reliable source of anything but gossip and spin.
I won't bother to look at it again.

[8|]
I will admit to peeking at gossip and spin websites from time to time.
I totally understand what they are about.
You have to admit, even the most "credible" sites are usually biased.
I will continue to check it out, because at least it gossips and spins both sides.
I would appreciate hearing what anyone across the pond, considers credible news sources.
What sources do you read?
Thanks mates

freedomdwarf1 -> RE: Brexit Vote Results (7/16/2016 10:14:15 AM)

I wouldn't say they gossip and spin on both sides.
They appear to be anti-leave on most fronts and taylor their news items and opinions along those lines.

I don't read any newspapers or online sites for this sort of stuff.
I resort to the BBC news for the least biased reporting for all sides.

WhoreMods -> RE: Brexit Vote Results (7/16/2016 10:21:04 AM)

Hang on, are you seriously saying that gossip and spin are inappropriate for a discussion of the Brexit and its consequences after several months of both camps gossiping and spinning as hard as they possibly could in the run up to the referendum?

freedomdwarf1 -> RE: Brexit Vote Results (7/16/2016 10:48:27 AM)

I'm not saying they are inappropriate for discussion; just not a reliable source for unbiased content.

Thanks mate, I will listen more to the BBC.
I will NOT however, give up the Daily Mail!!!!!
[:D]

freedomdwarf1 -> RE: Brexit Vote Results (7/16/2016 11:08:08 AM)

The Daily Wail is a right-right leaning snoozepaper.

To quote Conservapedia: "The Daily Mail is the second biggest selling British tabloid newspaper. It supports the Conservative Party. It is right-wing in its editorial stances...".

That's ok if you are a right-wing conservative type of person.
If you don't fit that box, it's views are pretty irrelevant, biased and meaningless.

I'm NEVER going to be a right wing conservative!
I just thought it was a sensationalist rag, full of gossip and innuendo.
Didn't realize it was conservative.
Understand mate, I glance at it from time to time.
I hardly read it "in depth" and I get my editorials elsewhere.
I consider it more gossip, than a credible news source.
Funny how they often have in depth coverage of American issues.
I will never be on the side of "the man".
Thanks mate

It is. It's basically the Sun without the tits on page three, but with all of the crap about b list celebrities and Big fucking Brother instead of news. They just have less photos and the occasional long word to remind you that you're reading a classy paper aimed at people who are smarter than the Sun readers.

Hey FD, can you recommend any news sites that think that Brexit is a good idea? I can't seem to find any. All these news sites are suddenly all so biased these days.

Brexit is objectively a terrible idea, hence no "news" site that has no bias will claim it is good.

There you go again with the negative waves, Staleek. You should be dancing down the streets, embracing your new 'freedom' and relishing the fact that you've 'taken back control'. I know that's what I'll be doing later (before I get arrested and banged up for the night in a padded cell again).

There aren't many. lol.
But the BBC at least do report from Bojo, David Davis and Theresa May that the UK can stand on a world stage rather than just the EU and make a good job of it.

Brilliant! Did you see that on 'Mock The Week'?

Politesub53 -> RE: Brexit Vote Results (7/16/2016 4:47:41 PM)

Nice to see the leftie luvvies are still pissed at losing a democratic vote. Oh wait, I forgot the new meme that 48% is actually higher than 52%.

Even Corbyn says another referendum is a bad idea, but I am still waiting for economic armagedon and Camerons promised WW3 to break out.
